The prices were also the cheapest , which was shocking because the quality of food was really good. I definitely will be coming back

The ramen was a 4 star - good portion, AMAZING char sui, wonderful soft boiled egg, and rich broth. Rolls were closer to 3 than 4 - nothing necessarily wrong with them but nothing particularly great about them. My fav was the WOW roll but my partner liked the OH Fish roll best. Either way, the choices are limited and I'd be more likely to return for the ramen than the sushi.

Hands down they have the best drinks, cookies, macarons, cakes, and now salt bread! I always come to get treats for my kid's teachers (for their birthdays, teacher appreciation week, just because, etc.). I've brought friends visiting the Bay Area to this bakery, which they have loved. Always Yours also has fun cup sleeve events, macaron classes and afternoon tea from time to time. We love supporting small businesses and this one is definitely worth supporting! P.S. with all these drink places popping up in the area...we still think the drinks at Always Yours not only taste better, but also are of higher quality.

It has the perfect consistency and texture, so it has been on the top of my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. We stopped by on a Sunday at noon and there were only a few customers inside. It's small but cozy and clean. I wanted to try all of the flavors - regular, chili oil scallion, and corn cheese. The regular was the best out of the other two in my opinion since it was simple but the bread could have been crisper even though it was warmed up. The other two flavors were very oily and too heavy. Glad I finally tried it, but I think I'm just going to stick to their macaroons.

I saw all the positive…read morereviews so decided to go on their website (https://mochi-orders.square.site) to place an order. The website is very simple and straightforward. A minimum order of $10 is required for curbside pick up at Eon Coffee on Saturday, but you need to order by 7pm the day before. I decided to order a variety of mochis and most of them were $2.25 each. I received an email confirmation right after I placed my order and another email from Yukiko with specific instructions, which I thought was helpful. I arrived at Eon Coffee a little after noon, and Yukiko was already waiting inside her car with a sign in her trunk. I told her my name and she gave me the bag with my order. The entire transaction was very seamless. She gave the box a nice touch by adding a sticker of the business. The mochis were extremely soft and wasn't too sweet. My favorite was definitely the mochi with peanut butter filling. I also enjoyed the fresh mango & red bean mochi. I'm glad that there is a mochi business in Hayward that I can order from for myself/someone else. I love supporting small businesses and hope they will be around for years to come!

It took a few minutes for us to be greeted and then seated and then some more time after that for our waitress to take our orders. I ordered the Tom Yum crab omelet; my friend ordered the eggs benedict, and we agreed to share the ube pancake on the side. I also ordered the ube latte to drink while my friend ordered the matcha latte. When we got our drinks, mine tasted like milk with light ube flavoring and my friend didn't care for her drink either. I'll bet if we had ordered Thai iced teas, it would've been a lot better. It didn't take too long until our food arrived. We tried the ube pancake first and unfortunately it wasn't that great. The pancake itself was dry and tasteless and the small serving of syrup it came with didn't help. I'm sure the ube pancake entree was a lot better as we saw someone next to us eating it and it was topped with fruit and whipped cream. That would have definitely helped with the taste and dry texture. The omelet was really good though. The sauce was delicious and it was a perfect combination with the rice. I wasn't too crazy about the crab, but I loved everything else about that dish. I ended up sharing a bit of it with my friend as she said she wasn't happy with her meal. I saw our waitress glance to see if we were doing ok, but it seemed like she didn't want to interrupt our conversation. I noticed that she was the only one on the floor and the place was getting busy, but her demeanor seemed a bit cold and she really looked like she didn't want to be there. I'm not sure if I would come back here. The Tom Yum dish was good, but that was about it. Based on other reviews, it looks like their traditional dishes are popular, but for me there are many other Thai places that serve delicious food while providing good customer service. I think that's why I was a bit taken aback with my experience here. I've always received warm welcomes and great service with every other Thai restaurant that I've been to. I might come back to try their more traditional dishes, but it'll be awhile before I return.

As I was paying for my groceries, Baron (gentleman with a rose tattoo on his ear) accused me of throwing my grocery bags in the bagging area. He asked me, "Would you like me to bag your groceries?" To which I said, "Yes please". He then said "Okay, well you threw your bags. Don't throw your bags if you want us to bag them because we are providing a service for you." I was confused because I 100% didn't think I threw my bags and also, it was 100% unintentional if it did seem aggressive. What Baron doesn't know is that I'm a big fan of Sprouts. I am friends with an ex-Sprouts store manager. I also recommended to the Mayor of Hayward himself that we should get a grocery store like Sprouts in Hayward. And I'm also friends with current Sprouts employees. I would never, ever be rude to a Sprouts employee. After I clarified with Baron how exactly I should place my bags, he then said, "There are cameras in the store." As if to threaten further action if I did this again. What was most embarrassing was there was another customer right next to me while this was going on. The good thing was that the other customer was smiling at me as if to say that he knew Baron was overreacting. I called the store manager on duty (Thomas) shortly after to report this behavior. I'm writing this review to ensure Baron gets this feedback.

Well, how about the fact that Fabrique Délices (a U.S. subsidiary of SAPAR) is based in the East Bay and uses local producers, like Niman Ranch, for many of its offerings? And they sell their wares at a wide variety of farmers' markets in the region? When you put this all together, it makes FD an outstanding source of delicious meat products sure to amp up the flavor in your life and bring out your inner carnivore. After passing by their stand at the San Mateo farmers' market for many months, we were finally lured into trying Fabrique Délices at the Saturday market in Half Moon Bay. Maybe it was the sunny skies and cool breezes, maybe it was the friendly salesperson, maybe it was the light crowds that morning. Whatever the reason, we stopped and sampled. Superb! There was so much to choose, but we settled on a French dry salami (saucisson sec, $11) bursting with rich tastes of pork, fresh garlic, cracked pepper, and sea salt. Sliced thin and served as an antipasto platter with even more cracked pepper and some cornichons, it is out of this world. It makes a great weekend lunch or light evening meal with fresh radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, mixed greens, and a glass of wine or beer. My first encounter with FD will definitely not be the last, as their catalog of offerings is simply too good to pass up. Next on my "wish list": their smoked duck breast, the chorizo d'España, the Rosette de Lyon, and their Merguez lamb + beef sausages. I am also tempted by their natural pâtés and the sausages made with game (rabbit, wild boar, venison). All in moderation, and all in due time. If you eat meat sparingly, as I do, you want these indulgences to be memorable. The French chacuterie tradition practiced by FD may well be your ticket to bliss.
