Right away, Dr. Lizotte demonstrated that his number one concern is patient care. He wasn't interested in getting me out the door quickly or putting me through an unending regime and pushing me to buy a number of supplements. Instead, we could tell in the first few minutes that he's different from the rest--he's knowledgeable, has tons of experience, and does whatever it takes to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. For instance, it turned out that I needed a specialist, and he referred me to a doctor outside of his own medical group who he felt would be more competent to handle my case. Checkin was easy, and each visit since the first, my paperwork was pre-filled out, which made it even quicker and easier. Dr. E is a really cool, super nice guy, and impressively knowledgeable. He's walked me through all my injuries, and helped me understand what was going on, answered all my questions, and worked with me to form a plan to heal. He has never rushed me out of office, he's always given me his full attention and I've always left feeling like I had a comprehensive plan of attack to fix my injuries. And unfortunately paid for it. Manipulation was used, including scare tactics: "you'll need surgery...". I have since confirmed with two other doctors that this is not the case. I do have some degeneration but on the X-rays Cordie drew the line inaccurately and inappropriately which makes the situation look worse than it is. See attached. Refused to provide a superbill so I cannot submit the $250 to my flex benefits. After reading my other review Cordie contacted me saying he would refund what I paid AFTER I took the review down. I wonder how many times he has gotten honest reviews removed this way.

He scares you into getting treatment by saying you're going to die if you don't get this treatment. They over promised and extremely under delivered. I hated that thing on the wall you had to use. They told me I needed to come 3x a week for months and I did and at the end, my scan showed I was worse from when I started. I'd hear him yelling at his wife in the back room before he would do his grand presentation evenings. I could go on. Just so much wrong with this place. I spent nearly $4k for something that re-traumatized me and didn't help (made things worse) and I actually had to move after this because it messed up my finances as I didn't have that money to begin with. When I asked for a refund, he sat me in this back room for awhile and came back and said there's no refunds, but basically would give me $100 to not say anything about this. Unreal. I've seen other reviews on here where he offered a full refund. Unfair. Don't walk away - RUN and report him if this has happened to you too. I hope you get the help that you need Dr. Cordie and stop traumatizing and taking advantage of people. Dr. Tania - I feel for you and I truly hope you haven't endured any abuse and if you have that you have the support that you need to overcome this type of trauma as it's brutal.

And when Dr Raya came in, she took the time to talk to me. Since this is my first visit with her. She explained every step what is she about to do. I haven't had any one do that in such a long time! The quality care is beyond excellent on what I usually get. It's amazing how I was treated before and how I'm being treated now. Even the front office ladies are alert and ready and with a welcoming smile. I'm so happy we switched to Scripps Medical Center!! They actually care about you!!

I don't know where the disconnect occurred except for she stated that she sent over my prescription the day I saw her. But my pharmacist never got it and it took several phone calls to get that straightened out. Only it was straightened out with the wrong medication. I am giving her a second chance on the offhand chance that this is somehow my mistake though I really don't think patients should be the ones to state the name of the medication that they want it should be the doctor prescribing the medication by name right?
