    Fried Grouper sandwich with fries
    Michelle M.

Happy Birthday to me!!! I started my birthday celebration a day EARLY on July 11(real bday July 12), with some of my family at Brio Trio in Easley. Brio Trio is located in the old Copper River building. The building has been updated and gently remodeled, and yes they kept the fire place! They do not take reservations, but you can be added to a waitlist. On Saturday evening at 5:00 pm there was a huge crowd. My niece arrived at 4:15, and put us on a wait list. Our wait time was longer because there were a lot of us in our group. As with most new places in Easley, until the newness wears off there will be a wait time. Our wait time was over an hour. Our table was large and comfortable with enough elbow room for twelve adults, a four yr old and two high chairs. Once we were seated our friendly server Noah came and took our drink and appetizer orders. The menu choices are large and there is something for just about everyone to choose from. The menu caters to a different variety of tastes, seafood, triple decker club sandwiches, pasta dishes, steak, chicken fingers, grilled chicken, salads, burgers, wraps, pizza, fries, soups and sides, there is also a nice salad bar (for $6.50 upgrade to add to any meal)with a selection of different dressings to top your salad. I had lemonade to drink and ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the salad bar. The chicken parmigiana was only ok to me, the chicken breast was a little on the dry side, and the side of spaghetti didn't have much marinara sauce on it. We did get a couple of sides of marinara sauce to add to the spaghetti. Everyone got some thing different at our table, fried grouper sandwich(my brother said it was delicious) grilled chicken breasts(my nephew enjoyed it). They do have some awesome fries, those things are off the chain GOOD!! My meal of choice was greatly appreciated(my niece paid for my dinner) and it was not a deal breaker for me. I do plan on going again to try something different from the menu. If you haven't tried Brio Trio, stop by and give them a try, I'm sure you will find something that you will like. As we were leaving the hostess did ask my niece if everything was ok and apologized for the long wait. Thanks to my family members that came out to celebrate my birthday a day early with me, y'all are truly loved and appreciated, and it's ALWAYS good to spend time with FAMILY

Honey pimento chicken sandwich with sweet potato soufflé as a the side.

I had a great time here! We had the spinach dip for an appetizer and it came w/ pita!!! (Plenty of places I've been only give chips with that so yay) the honey pimento chicken sandwich I got was very good. I have a huge sweet tooth so I LOVED the sweet potato soufflé, but it may be too sweet for those that aren't into sweet stuff like that. They did just open, so they are SUPER busy, however I've always been pretty patient. Biggest thing was getting a table, once we actually got to our table, the service was at a very nice pace. Our waitress was so so nice, I just wish I could remember her name to shout her out!

    Fettuccine alfredo with chicken

Food was ok. I've had been alfredo sauce. This sauce definitely tasted like it came from a can or a bag. Which is unfortunate bc I was really looking forward to it. House salad, Philly cheesesteak, fries, and breadsticks were all good!! Service was spotty, but they were super busy due to opening recently. We had to wait about 30/35 mins. I would suggest making a reservation for the first few months of their operation. Drinks were affordable and good. My first impression: a little disappointed but I would come back again to get something else / see how the business is progressing.

Our salads were also very good and the pepper Parmesan dressing was delish. 4.0. The waiter, great guy and great service recommended the "Tour of Venice". And it was pretty disappointing. The manicotti had a good filling and good sauce but the pasta was doughy and gummy 2.0. The lasagna was dry and over cooked and there was no recognizable ricotta in it adding to the dryness. 2.0. Lastly the chicken parmigiana was bad. The chicken was so dry and stringy I could not swallow it, I had to take it out of my mouth. That said we'll give it another try. The spaghetti and meatballs looked good and the onion rings looked good as well. I think the Venice trio had been sitting around and all got over cooked. If it is better next time, I'll amend my review.

There was a wait as they seem to be well know for having great food and service. The atmosphere was more intimate and inviting. The waitress was very kind and friendly. Entrees come with Italian baked bread and salad and my partner's came with soup as well. The bread was fresh and tasted great the salad had many toppings and the house made Italian dressing was delicious, nice to dip the bread in as well. Then came our entrees, I ordered the tortellini it was cooked well with lots of melted cheese on top holding in the sauce and fresh baked heat on the inside. It was very filling, only wish the inside was more creamy seemed to be mainly tortellini with not much sauce. But overall very good. Would recommend for a date night or family celebration. Great little Italian spot with great service and well made courses!

Both refreshing and full bodied. The venue had a lot of indoor and outdoor seating which makes for a fun social time for friends and families. The day I stopped in the boxcars which house the eateries at the same location, were closed. Still able to peruse the menus they had posted. They offer many different flavors and types of dishes from Indian, Thai, and all American. I'm heading back on Saturday for lunch when they'll be open for business. I'll update once I've stopped in.

It is suitable for crowds. Of course, the old silos were built for grain storage in the late 40's time frame and now have been turned into a community hub of restaurants, bars, live music, outdoor dining via numerous vendors, fire pits and large screen tv's with even a rail car venue in a very eclectic and hip, urban setting. We were eating at one of the associated restaurants, Inky's, and they allow us to go to Silos Brewing and grab a beer to bring back for the meal. Very cool since Inky's sells draft, but just not this craft Silos draft. I really liked the cooperative and laid back approach by both establishments, including that Silos Brewing let me carry the glass over and not just a plastic cup. They will get it back. My choice was the "Smoke on the Lager" which is, of course, a lager base with smoky hints that went well with my Authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. As their website says, "our backyard is your playground," and I bet on a warm spring or summer evening (rather than a rainy, winter Thursday), this place would be excellent fun. "A place to share stories over a pint, challenge friends to a casual game, or bask in the laid-back vibes of our beer garden." I get that from this establishment and will definitely be back to partake of this hospitality. From what I have seen, despite the less than ideal weather, this is a definite road worthy destination spot even from Greenville or Clemson.
