So we ended up eating here 2x. The service was a little slow due to being understaffed, so be patient. Food during our 2 visits: calamari - so good! The best in the area. Crispy and that aioli was divine! Maybe too many spicy peppers with seeds. So be careful. Mahi sandwich and Mahi tacos. The Mahi was pretty good both times. I think I should have gotten the Mahi tacos both times as they were so craveworthy. The chips and salsa were a perfect side to the tacos and the salad for the sandwich just wasn't that great. Also got to try the pesto flatbread and that was perfect and flavorful with the balsamic drizzle. Overall, I would be back if in this area!

Like nothing I've ever had! Full of flavor and creamy texture and so much more! If nothing else go for the eggs! Next time I will order the Bread Pudding! Now to the entertainment! IM UPDATING.... This is a sad downgrade. Have you ever…read morewanted to like something so bad that you are angry when they fail. Im sitting in here now... I ordered this meat and cheese tray. $30. Look at the pics. Horrible. It was thrown on a plate. One of the meats was so funky. I order charcuterie everywhere, even Publix. This was insulting to me and my wallet. Well, mix that with a medoicre rock band and I was ready to go. It seems like the quality sipped. I even purchased 2 cocktails. I guess they are saving money by putting in very little liquor. So...what waa a typical 3 to 4 star night, was a 2. I guess if yiu have 4 or 5 bad drinks yiu can skip past it all. But I stopped at work. I wasnt drunk enough to ignore the overall mediocrity. Towards the end..the band Retro Active, old rock, got better they had a rough start then got better by 1.5 hrs in. I just need to lower my expectations in rough times or head to the casino I guess. I love supporting local business, but a $30 waste of my time. Its not the money, it's the sloo, lack of effort on the plate. We had abour 8 meat slices, a few walnuts:n cranberries. Bye Felicia! Im home now...I left at intermission. I guess Im angry because they failed on the basics. I get that businesses are suffering due to their poor voting choices, war, gas, economy. But...I guess Im angry about the basics. Its easy to take lunch meat and cheese. We make it at home! So Im pissed that you would mash up bread on a grill, throw on some funky meat, and toss 3 cups on a plate: honey, some weird sauce and something elsem. Darn right Im mad. The owners or whoever is fronting this should go back to basics. Here is my next play..eat before I go. Buy one drink then bring my own drink in my purse, fill my cup with basic rum and coke lol. My partner was smart: buy a beer. Something they can't mess up. I even saw folks with cans of miller lol. Im over this dive. I guess everything changes and some places have no capacity to last and age well. I even didn't like their bingo. Overalll, go if you know the band. Get tipsy before you go! Just not worth more than $20 stay really. I use to love it a few years back. Even the burlesque was tired. My kid said. Some people cant hang it up. I guess this is one! For great drinks, go to Bar Betty, upstairs in Sunness. Go hit Chainbridge...best old fashioned, near Moon Pizza. Best pizza at moom with pinball attached. Amazing cocktails, same price! There are several places doing it right!

Went with the chicken sandwich, fries, and coleslaw both times--it was pretty decent overall. For dinner I added the pineapple mocktail, which was actually delicious. The lunch server came across as super introverted and not as friendly, but not necessarily rude either. The dinner bartenders were way more personable and kept checking in--except for the one moment when a bartender asked for my order and as I started replying, and they instantly turned to help the couple who just sat down at the bar. I didn't even pause that long (5 seconds max), but it is what it is. Maybe they needed to prioritize the couple as it was the feast day of St. Valentine. Overall, food and drinks were mostly good, but dinner felt awkward right from walking in. I got there a little after 5 PM and they said tables were all reserved/booked, so bar seating was only available--no wiggle room for a solo diner to be at a table on such an occasion apparently. By the time I finished, maybe only 1/3 of the inside and patio was full. As I was sitting at the bar, the oceanfront door was open and the wind was whipping in like crazy--it felt like sitting in a wind tunnel and it was cold, not enjoyable at all. I also had this weird inkling that the bar couple and bartenders were talking about me negatively and laughing. I have no proof, but that was the vibe I got. I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Zoe's has potential but the restaurant is so poorly managed that all good aspects are diminished…read more The service is well intentioned but on several visits there were long lapses with waiters MIA. The outdoor section has a great beach view but for some people the noise level might be excessive as the small hotel pool gets crowded and both the indoor and outdoor dining spaces are cramped and the tables are really tight. Many appetizers are fried and are similar to that of casual chain restaurants except here they are elevated and use better ingredients. On one visit I had the Poutine and it was surprisingly good and though purists might find fault with the dish we liked it - so much that on the next visit we ordered it, only to be told that it wasn't available. Main courses were also better than expected but there was also no consistency and the quality and preparation varied from each visit. The hotel's owners have tried to make dining here more than a basic Residence Inn experience and kudos to them for trying but the execution needs improvement.

Their Eggs Benedict with wood fire Beef Tenderloin and the Shrimply Divine Avocado Toast are both really divine. The staff are cordial and attentive. I'd give a five star review but perhaps I'm old school thinking that the staff shouldn't look like they just woke up, nor just came passing by wearing Daisy Dukes. Where's the class? After all, it's not a sports bar. Other than that, I recommend the Beach House for your next meal.
