Lovely service, small and intimate dining. The food was delicious. Some of us ordered the meatloaf special and commented on a generous serving size, then proceeded to eat it all. You couldn't stop. The chicken French was recommended and tried and it was delicious. Penne with vegetables was also ordered and equally delicious.

2 floor restaurant, street parking, limited dinner choices, could use some soft music or turn up the tv, otherwise you listen to yourself breathing lol. One server who is also the bartender, very polite. It was a Tuesday and the server said its their slow day. Served us some warm bread and butter before our dinner came out. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Both chicken dishes were satisfying.

We came in on a Saturday at noon. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Seated immediately and server took our order a few minutes later. The restaurant is cozy and very small downstairs. There is seating upstairs that I didn't see. The lunch menu is small. I ordered the bleu burger which was amazing. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak. It was good although could've used more cheese. They do not have a fryer at this restaurant so there were no chips or fries. We were given roasted potatoes, however, they upcharged $2. They were good. They seem to have a problem with Google reservation system. The server had mentioned that they don't like it because the customers cannot put in special seating request for dining. So if you make a reservation and need accessible seating you can only sit by the bar. The server got a phone call from someone asking for a reservation time and she seemed annoyed because they were using the Google system. It was ok. Would I bounce to go back? No.... possibly if I were in the area.

We had high hopes when we made our reservation, as recommended on the website. Kathy greeted us and sat us promptly. She is all things - bartender, wait staff & busser- and took good care of us. She gets a lot of steps every day going up and down the stairs! They have a good bar, lots of beer and wine, but only 2 brands of vodka - two I'd never heard of - but Kathy made a good Cosmo (although served in a champagne glass and other patrons had martini glasses). Kathy never asked if we'd like another drink, so we didn't order any more. We ordered crab cakes as a starter. The remoulade was awesome, nice kick to it, but we did not get any app plates. We used our bread plates and then when the hot, fresh bread was served with dinner (good plan so you don't fill up on bread) the only place to put it was on the bread plate which had crab cake remnants. Meh... My chicken French was delicious and served over grilled zucchini. Hubby had the grilled scallops (very good) served with risotto which he described as "pasty." We let Kathy know it was pasty and her reply was, "Well, that's how it is." Oh my... It was a warm summer evening and we're glad we did not sit upstairs (even though the kitchen is up there). It might be very cozy up there in the winter. Desserts are house made but we did not have room tonight. We'd give it another try, but no rush back.

We ordered the mussels that came with crusty bread, a cheese plate, salad, bougie fries, 2 drinks each and the crème brûlée. Everything was seriously so delicious. Cute restaurant and I see how they could get super busy on any given night. For my first time here, I was impressed by the quality of food and the authentically nice service. It was easy to make reservations the night before for a Tuesday dinner at4:30. Honestly there was no other party there but us for about a good 30-40 minutes so I would say a walk in on a Tuesday early on before 5:15 would entail in zero wait. I got one w rye and rubarb, and it just tasted like a mike's hard lemonade. The mussels were delicious, fat and tender, swimming in a delicious broth that tasted more Thai than French, but really good. Came with a little baguette. The salmon was good, but should be listed as an appetizer. It's under the word 'grand' on the menu which literally means 'big.' Besides being a tiny portion, the sides were only for aesthetic purposes, not for feeding humans. The plate was pretty but not fulfilling. No need to return.

I have been going to Cent-Dix for 10 years and let me tell you this restaurant doesn't disappoint,…read moreand is probably my favorite in Ithaca. We are talking about great execution on basic french dishes here with excellent service on the commons. It's also the most elegant of the restaurants in the commons in my opinion. None are particularly elegant, but Cent-Dix feels the nicest. A must get is the beef tartare. It's so good, it's better than many tartare's I've had in france. Just hands down an easy winner. To cut it's richness I think you should get the Frisee aux Lardons. No matter the table size this is a perfect salad. You can always get more salads or greens, but if the table size is 2 or 6, everyone will like this. The fat, acid, bitterness is perfect. Steak frites are amazing, but even better is the cote de bouef on Saturdays. Either way you won't go wrong, but this restaurant does steak so well, and has good wines to pair with the steak. I've personally never had room for dessert, but everyone always orders it and I have some. It's good, but my favorite is that the espresso machine is always running after dinner for a nice pick me up before my walk on the commons!

I came with a friend and we tried the pear appetizer, mussels, leek and gruyere tart, and the ricotta gnocchi. Honestly, everything was really good. The gnocchi was pillowy and the tart did not have a soggy bottom. For dessert we tried the Pear frangipane which was also good. Quite a strong almond flavor and a little on the sweet side. Overall very good, I would recommend!

I've been so excited to review Cure!…read more This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in town and dare I say it - my favorite of the good luck family chain of restaurants I love the ambiance - unlike good look it is a bit more cozy. I love sitting at the bar, the bartenders are very fun to talk to! Let's talk drinks - so many options and the menu is so unique! they have a shaken, still, and bubbly option, something for everyone. I think some of them can be non alcoholic if you ask :) the drinks are always impressive, I've never been disappointed the food menu is perfect for sharing. It's French inspired cuisine so it is definitely meat heavy. My favorite dishes are below: the bahn mi is sooo good, the sauce is creamy and the bread from Flour city is perfectly crunchy The beef tartare is such a great portion and under 20 bucks!! Most places charge a lot more for it. If raw meat is not your thing then I'd avoid it but I'd give it a chance if you're adventurous. And finally the amazing steak - medium rare, juicy, perfectly salted. The fries are super addicting. Not dry at all. They have a good house sauce to dip it in (akin to good luck). Overall this is a AMAZING place with such an inspired drink and food menu. I'm already thinking about my next venture to Cure :)

After perusing Yelp reviews, I found a cozy little place called Grace and Disgraced. It was lovely inside but learned that reservations were required. I asked the owner for a recommendation and he pointed us here. This is exactly what we were looking for! Delicious, rustic French food, beautiful cocktails and a table for two in a charming, glowy dining room. I am serious when I say the charm here is forefront. But not at all second to that charm is the food! I had the merguez sausage over root vegetable and lentils and my friend had the beef bourguignon. Both of these were stand out dishes! The melted brie with chilled potatoes to start complimented these dishes beautifully! The cocktails were so well-made and I can't tell you thankfull I am that we were directed here. It's a cool spot- restaurant on the ground floor, and upstairs they sell different things made locally, and also clothes. It was fun to walk around while the food was being made. Our server was Kara, and she was awesome! My nephew has a peanut allergy so she was checking in on the entire order and sides to be sure we were in the clear! She was so helpful and friendly, even when there was an issue it wasn't a giant deal. My nephew and I started out by looking at the protein shake menu. I chose the green goddess protein shake, and he went with the cocoa Berry. Let me just say that mine was so good I finished it quickly. Nephew ordered the garlic sweet chili hummus appetizer to start. It came with freshly cut pita quarters, carrots, and strips of yellow and red peppers. Fresh, crunchy, hummus was absolutely addictively delicious and more than enough to share! He then got the pesto panini, my older brother ended up landing on the Italian panini (they sold out of the corned beef). He also got the soup special, stuffed cabbage soup and that looked really delicious and piping hot. Lots of cabbage and meat along with the broth. I had FOMO for sure. One panini came with a side salad, the other chose the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad that came with balsamic. So tasty I tried it later bc we took it to go, and I ate it all!
