I'm new to the area and don't know why I waited as long as I did. They have limited hours but an extremely easy online ordering and pick-up system where you pre-pay. Simply show up, and they'll deliver your order to your car. I'm currently making my way through the menu but let's focus on the most important thing. The baguette. The humble baguette is done exactly how it should be. Nothing fancy. Just total authentic crusty goodness transporting you straight to France. Their simple and delicious salami sandwich is served on this as well and ya can't go wrong. But I spent most the day munching on hunks of bread, some with a little butter. The next week, we tried the bacon quiche. The large is only $15 and full of fresh ingredients, perfectly baked. One large slice with a salad or fruit makes a surprisingly filling dinner. We also think it would work to slice the whole thing and freeze individually for quick lunches. Focaccia...yet again, simple and perfect with flaked sea salt. Great for dipping. The mozzarella pesto sandwich uses this and the actual pesto didn't quite do it for me. However, I was clearly wrong in this opinion and everyone else finished it up for me. This week, I will be testing out their Turkish bagels and pretzels. Maybe another baguette. They offer their pizzas for take and bake but I think I'd rather wait for the full wood fired option when they can open more. We ordered some goods here for our weekend and everything was outstanding. It was seamless to order online and they brought everything packaged up straight out to our car when we pulled up. We got the sweet potato quiche to have for brunch and it was amazing! We also tried the dark chocolate spelt cookie with sea salt - an elevated chocolate chip cookie that's crispy and buttery. The multigrain sourdough bread was our favorite out of the order. We've already gone back for a second loaf, one of the best homemade breads I've had! We used it for avocado toast, sandwiches, ate it alone and even as homemade garlic bread. Next we want to try their pizzas everything we've got so far has not let us down! read more

I guess they only offer them on Saturday nights between 5-9 so theirs only a small window to get but this is definitely worth making a special trip. Hard to beat a wood fired pizza. Finally got their pizza and wow--the perfect wood fired pizza! We got the margherita pizza and pepperoni and both were cooked well with some toasty crust bubbles. Nice, thin pizza. Since they only do pizza on Saturdays, I recommend ordering early in the day or even the day before because we called around 4 thinking it was early enough and couldn't pick up until 645. Now we know! I do think our pizzas had been done and sitting for a while though because we got there about 10 mins early and the pizzas were already cooled to room temp. We went back a few weeks after to pick up some bread to accompany soup. Got the wheat sourdough and some dinner rolls that were 1/2 off from the day before. So. Good. What a gem! The smell of fresh bread when you walk in is unbelievable. And the large wood fired oven is a nice sight. We arrived late morning and they were busy, didnt realize we would have to fight for the last blueberry pastry! Lol. They have a ton of great fresh breads, pretzels, pastries, croissants and pizza's every Friday and Saturday night. The staff is super friendly, make sure to get their early because they sell out quick. We ordered an assortment of goodies, cinnamon twists, pepperoni rolls, pretzels, cheddar cheese bread sticks, apple, blueberry and almond danish. My favorite had to be the pretzel croissant. Just the simple touch of salt on it completely changed everything. I don't think I can eat a regular croissant again. Everything was exceptional. This place is amazing. read more

I love this place so much! I've been coming in for bread and pastries for years. The 1st time I had them was at Octoberfest in Kent and I have been hooked ever since! They are so fantastic that I still frequent them while stay at home orders are in place. When I pulled up to get my online order their staff came outside quickly (didn't even have to call). They wore clean gloves and masks ( I am glad they care about safety) The cake and scones I ordered were absolutely delicious! I also ordered bread flour and yeast from them because I have been making my own sourdough bread, pizza and pancakes since I am bored. Finally the stars aligned for me to get to Brimfield Bread Oven's storefront for their special oven-fired pizza (only served Wednesday-Saturday, 5:30-9pm). The nondescript stretch of Rt. 43 gives no hint of the delights that are to be found within BBO's premises, so go and trust. The pizzas are made with fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, high quality mushrooms, etc. They do not skimp on the caliber of their ingredients. The pizzas come out in a flash, and the wood fire oven adds a chewiness and slight smokiness to the crust that you just can't get through a regular oven bake. They have several set combinations of toppings, or you can create your own. If you can't eat in, they also sell takeaway pizzas, and pre-made pies to prepare at home. By night, at least on a Thursday, the vibe was calm and casual, with families and couples coming in for a bite. The adjacent dining area can get a bit cacophonous if there's a crowd, but by day it would be a nice place to study or read with a coffee and one of their unusually delicious baked goods. To complement the pizza, they offer wine by the glass or bottle, San Pellegrino products, juices, etc. You may also be lucky enough to score one of their home-baked cookies for dessert (chocolate cherry and gluten-free almond lemon varieties were still on hand last night). I'm not sure if it's an ongoing promotion or a one time deal, but if you register as a return customer with them (via your phone number), when you spend $50 they will give you $5 towards future purchases. That's half a pizza right there! The staff are friendly and very passionate and knowledgeable about the wares that they sell. This place sets the bar extremely high for both its pizza and bread offerings, and I can't recommend them enough. read more

All of their wood oven-baked sour dough loaves are the best versions of themselves compared to anywhere else, particularly the cranberry walnut sourdough... insanely good! Talk about a true art form, the variety of knots, twist & time that goes into their breads is absolutely beautiful. And their pastries are uniquely flavored; such as the kale & goat cheese danish (my fav)! They didn't have any in their display case last night but I spotted them on a tray that was going to be thrown out. The cashier was kind enough to give me 2 for free. But when she saw I was sharing them, she gave me an additional 2 @ no cost! But even if she hadn't, my family & I have always enjoyed their customer service, clean & cute atmosphere & the pizzas! This place is FANTASTIC! We got a baguette, county sourdough, and sea salt focaccia. Everything was very good, and their passion really shows in their food. The focaccia was definitely our favorite! I'd been living in Brimfield for 15 years before I'd finally discovered BBO. Several people chastised me for not knowing about it sooner! Those nagging friends were right, though. Brimfield Bread Oven is amazing. In my opinion, the raspberry danish is one of the world's most satisfying foods. Yes, I said it - one of the best in the world. It's as beautiful as it is delectable. It's got layers and layers of golden brown puff pastry. In the center is this dense, sweet center of raspberry filling. The danish is topped off with large sugar crystals that tie the whole experience together. It's not just the flavor - it's the texture that makes it soooo satisfying. The first time you go to BBO, buy two of them. Trust me. I'm right about this. It'll save to a trip back 10 minutes later to get another one. And if that's not enough, the pepperoni rolls are awesome. The breadsticks are terrific. And if you're a lover of focaccia bread and black olives, they make an olive and focaccia loaf that I pick up with both hands and devour right out of the bag. The staff is very nice and efficient. All their pizzas are fired in a brick oven. Everyone who works there seems friendly and dedicated to their craft.
