I visited Brilliance last week to get repair on medium size dent in rear fender of Nissan Rouge. I already check with couple of autobody shops before brilliance and they estimated the repair cost between $1500 for repair the dent and $2500 for replacing the fender. When I came to Brilliance the front office lady was rude and seem to me she was unhappy because I may interrupted her drinking her 2 Liter Mountain Dew bottle. She had me to wait Standing for a guy named Brian. After about 10 minutes wait Mr. Brian showed up and took a quick look at the photos of the car and I was shocked when he told me that fender replacement is the only option and it will cost me between $3500-$4000 and I have to wait for a month to bring the vehicle in to the shop and it will take up to 2 weeks to repair that is 45 days to get the dent fixed. I left Brilliance and went to another local autobody shop at Canton, and they were so friendly and welcoming. Agreed with them on $1800 (not $3500-4000 at Brilliance) for the repair the dent and it was done in 3 days only (not 45 days at Brilliance). I got my vehicle yesterday and WOW it is like new.. That's Brilliant, well actually it's Brilliance. These folks were awesome to me. I seem to attract the worlds worsts drivers, I have lost a side mirror and had someone plow into my car and on both occasions those people have "forgotten" to leave a note. Well Bob has taken really good care of fixing up my ride. I know you're wondering, "How do you know the guys name?" Is this a real yelp review? Help I'm so confused! -- It's at the bottom of his e-mails and he is the kind of personable guy who you feel is giving you a fair deal. Oh and after completing the work on the dent, they cleaned my car inside and out, which I thought was a real nice touch because my kids are slobs and the absence of goldfish crackers on the back seat was as pleasing to my eyes as the work on the exterior. I am wondering though if I should have them just paint my entire car canary yellow so the fine people of Providence stop hitting me. Brilliance Auto Body is an honest, reliable and just an awesome body shop. Bob is so friendly, trustworthy and pleasant. I took my car there for body work and Bob carefully looked at the damage. He advised me which areas needed to be repaired and which areas could be left alone to save me money. He said he could just touch up a few areas so I don't have to spend a lot to get them repaired and told me to just repair the broken glass. I went there ready to spend more than a thousand dollars but Bob was convincing me to spend much less and save on repairs. While many shops would rather just take the business, especially when the customer is willing to pay, Bob was more concerned about what is needed and what would be cost effective for the customer. After he walked me through his recommendations, I told him that I still thought I should rather pay for all the repairs because if and when I sell the car, I would get less for it unless all the repairs were done. Bob advised me against it and said that the car is old so it wouldn't make much of a difference. Imagine that, I am trying to give him more money and he is trying to convince me not to! After the work was done, I noticed he touched up and fixed some additional areas which made the damage almost unnoticeable. I was new to the process, and they explained everything with kindness. They worked with my insurance company, and were in close contact with me when I needed to come take my roof rack off my car - even offering to help provide me with tools to do so. I took my car here back in 2001. I had been in a fender bender and insurance was covering the repair. All I had to do was to bring it to an auto body shop. I was impressed with this shop. They put my mind at ease and took care of all the repairs and paperwork associated with this job. Not only did I get my bumper replaced, but a large part of the exhaust system was replaced as well as the fuel pump, both of which were costly items to replace. Not only were these items replaced as part of the assessment, but when the muffler was knocking against the bumper, the auto body guys drove my car down to the mechanic with me to get it replaced. These guys also offer a shuttle service if you need a ride to the local train station or work location in town. They're very easy to deal with and very friendly. read more

Last year I was to referred by my Insurance company (Commerce) to a couple Certified Auto Body Shops in my area for a little fender bender with my 2011 Honda CR-V. I randomly picked Brilliance Auto Body because they have a Certified Insurance Appraiser on site and I did not want to wait for a regular appraiser to make an appt to come an evaluate the damages before anybody could proceed with the repairs. 15 minutes after I finished talking to my Ins Co. I received a call from Jen from Brilliance to schedule an appt to drop off my car at my earliest convenience. They took care of absolutely everything! By the time I got to their place they already had a rental waiting for me and all the paperwork ready, so basically all I had to do was sign the papers & swap cars. Bob (which I assume is the owner) came outside & took a look at my car & gave me an estimated time for the repairs. I took off in my 2014 fully loaded Ford Edge and within a week I received another call from Jen letting me know that my car was ready and all I had to so was go back & swap cars again. I am extremely picky and have a very critical eye when it comes to details and this job was PERFECT. I was so impressed with how smooth, fast & easy this whole experience was for me that on a scale from 1-10 I give Commerce Insurance and Brilliance Auto Body a 15! ...They definitely met & exceeded my expectations so last month when another car scratched the passenger side of my car while parked I took my CR-V back to them & relived the same awesome experience & the great service from them. Bob and the folks at Brilliance Auto Body are a stand-up outfit. I've had them work on 2 different cars of mine and the workmanship and quality of service have been top notch. In fact, the 2nd car that I had brought by was a small dent-fix before a used car sale that Bob decided didn't require much work to get into sales condition and he offered to fix it up free of charge. I took my truck in after an accident and the manager worked it out so that that I would not have to pay any deductible. The work was great quality and the staff very friendly and helpful. The shop itself is also rather unusual in that I wasn't scared at all to use the restroom! The benefits of taking your car to a repair shop that is NOT affiliated with an insurance company are numerous and frankly, common sense. My car was hit And my whole side front of my car was smashed in, my car took less than 7 business days, they sent my car to auto shop for alignment, completely handled the claims process all the way done to having a rental car awaiting for me when I brought the car in and when it was ready I left the rental there and drove my car home, they also handled all the paperwork, appraisal crap for the claims process with my insurance and the insurance of the person who hit me, MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY DO QUALITY WORK, that is one thing I would rate them as a 10. read more

I got rear ended and my insurance agency recommended this place and my late grandfather had always suggested in the past it so I figured I'd try it out. Everyone there was so so nice which is a big reason I went there instead of another place I was thinking about in Norwood. They communicated directly with my insurance agent when there was more damage found than was originally appraised. They have a deal with Hertz so they set up my entire rental and hertz was there with a beautiful rental car along with dunks coffee and donuts ( it's the little things) when I dropped off my car. My car was vacuumed clean, shiny, and looked brand new when I picked it up. I 100% recommend this place. read more

After being in a minor fender bender, I found this place via my insurance company. They are on the list of MAPFRE/commerce insurance approved auto repair shops. What does that mean? After my car accident, mapfre sent out an insurance agent to my house to assess the damage. They then sent me my check in the mail to cover the approved repairs. I called Brilliance Auto Body and I stopped by for them to check if they were going to need to order any additional parts (10mim visit). I dropped the car off the next day. Because my insurance agent had already seen the car, I didnt need Brilliance to submit an assessment and wait for approval for the repair job to start. I also had my check from the insurance company and signed that over. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and picked it up Wednesday afternoon. There were some additional small parts that needed to be ordered & paid for but because Brilliance is on that MAPFRE list- they spoke directly to my insurance company to get it approved and paid for. I had zero out of pocket expenses for the repair job. Negatives: - They originally told me that the repair work would tale one overnight. When I called Tuesday, they told me that the car wouldnt be ready until Wed or Thursday because of the additional small parts needed. I wish they had called me to update me. - front desk lady very friendly but guy who looked at my car on the first visit was aloof. He didnt introduce himself, just started walking towards my car. I had to introduce myself before he offered a handshake. - When I picked up my car, both front seats were cranked all the way back (back seat toddler's seat was nudged up in the air because of the front passenger seat location) and the steering wheel had been dropped low. I did not know how to fix the steering wheel and had to look in the owner's manual to readjust my steering wheel height. The toddler's seat ended up being fine once the passenger seat was readjusted. Positives - The steering wheel and front row seats were out of place because they vaccuumed the whole car! After I moved the passenger seat up, I checked the toddler seat and noticed that it looked clean. That seat hasnt looked neat and tidy since we took it out of the box. All the cheerios and sand and other little junk from the toddler were missing! The floor looked pristine. My husband noticed that exterior was washed too. - front desk staff was very friendly and easy to talk to on the phone - as a MAPFRE compliant place, they spoke directly with the insurance company which saved me some hassle. I had a slight accident, not my fault about a week before my wedding. I didn't have time to manage yet another thing. I brought my car to Brilliance through my insurance company. Everything was taken care of right there. They called the rental place who dropped of the rental car. Then the in-house insurance adjuster reviewed the repairs needed and submitted a claim. Then the body shop went to work. I was able to drop off the rental back at Brilliance, and pick up my car BEFORE work, and be on my way. Jen at the front desk could not be more helpful (although I think she made need to take a real lunch once in a while!). She took my calls everyday, and let me know where my car was in the process. She even opens the shop at 7:15am for us early morning people that need to get to work. Everyone, from the first person who answered the phone, to the receptionist/office manager/mechanics are wonderful.
