This Brighton store is my wife favorite store to go to. Shawn was the associate there helping her today and I join afterwards. Shawn provides great customer service and good recommendations, she knows my wife taste. The store is not that big but they have a lot of products to offer. Shawn was telling us about their sales product and told my wife about upcoming deals as well. If you decide to visit the store, all of their employees are friendly. The service was exceptional! We walked into to this very inviting looking store and got a big hello from Bella. Actually all the ladies in the store spoke to us at one time or another. My daughter's boss likes Brighton jewelry so she wanted to get her a gift card. We were just going to buy the card however after looking at some Star earrings I had to have them. I'm so glad I got them because they are high quality and look like the Star that led the wise men. My daughter saw a heart bracelet so I bought that for her as a Christmas gift. . They beautifully wrapped the gift and made it so enticing that no one could not resist opening it. Bella was wonderful, had great ideas on choosing jewelry and was very warm and friendly. I will be a shopper here from now on. They have a program for you to be a part of that's free that after you buy so many items you get an amount off of your next purchase. I have not read all the details so it's best to check with them. They did not hover over you but were close enough that if you wanted help they could come right over and help you. I love this store. Bumped it down two stars because I agree with Liz about Brighton's representatives not catering to all their customers. I had no intention of shopping that day that I went, just planned on dropping off some papers with my mom. We ended up coming to the stores and when my mom found out they had a Brighton store, she was so happy!! My mom LOVES Brighton! Has been a customer for years and I always know what to get her when she needs a smile. Most of the times I have to drive out of the area to go to a boutique that happens to be an authorized retailer, but it isn't a Brighton store so not everything is available. It's nice to know that there's a store nearby without having to drive out so far. But I don't appreciate them overlooking loyal customers for whatever reason. I have no idea why they never asked us if we needed help, but I do know that they had no problem asking everyone else who walked in after us. I'm not going to assume why they didn't assist us but I will say that they need to be retrained in customer service. I only put up with this kind of service if I know it'll make my loved ones happy. Because I've worked in customer service and know that sometimes you can be short staffed, extremely busy, or trying to secure a sale, I'm going to give them a second chance. I can't believe I'm the first to review this store. I love Brighton. I love the purses, jewelry, belts....great style and excellent quality. The staff is VERY helpful and really personable. They take care of you as a customer - even after the sale. I can take my purses in for conditioning, the back part of an earring went missing - they are repairing it now. My fist and last Brighton experience today. Most aggressive sales force I've ever encountered. These girls must work under tremendous pressure from management. I wanted to see what kind of merchandise they have but I didn't have a chance. The 3rd salesperson to descend on me was even with another customer but took attention away from her to pounce on me. I gave up and won't be back. I did see one very cheaply made silver plate bracelet that was $50 and really, what are people thinking? I know that I do not look like their typical clientele. Perhaps it's my obnoxious gold Toms or my lack of wrinkles. Either way, when I come here I am prepared to drop $100 on a gift for my mom - and I get ignored. The sales team will fawn over those who look like their demographic and ignore you if you don't look like you would buy. Yeah, I get commission sales, but it's kind of obvious that they're out for a sale. The only reason I keep coming back is because my mom has a thing for their handbags and accessories. I purchased a purse from there as a gift. My wife didn't care for it, so I went to return it. Opening remarks were "Looks like this has been used" because I had hidden some jewelry inside it as part of the gift. I said "it hadn't", as all the tags were still in it, and all of the stock photo cards they put in the wallet were still in it. Then I was told, the receipt was only good for in store credit, as she could not determine how the purchase was made. I said "I have the card I purchased it with". Then she said "Well it came with a tote" which they had foisted on me. I didn't want it at the time of purchase, but they insisted I take it. So I relented and they gave it to me, and that ugly thing was promptly thrown out. Well... since this stupid free tote is gone, I can't return the $400 purse, not even for store credit. What a demented trap. Never go here. I won't even walk by this place again. read more

Terrible experience today; they were out of January birthstone necklaces on the 1st day of January. Sales person was aggressive and pushed us toward a chain and beads/charms. Told us we would receive a 2018 charm with $50 purchase of chain, charms and beads. When we were ready to check out the mgr. informed the salesperson the chains didn't apply. Long story shorter, when we were checking out and asked for a gift receipt, first the salesperson said she couldn't provide, then said I could return without anything as long as it was new. I asked again for a gift receipt and manager intervened and gave me a piece of receipt tape with only a barcode stating this was the transaction number and would suffice as a gift receipt. I was shocked how pushy, aggressive and the lack of customer service this shop provides. I asked for a refund of my item and I walked out. Mgr. stated owners didn't want to offer gift receipts. I bought several family members Brighton Jewlery this season and I love the product but this shop is not an experience I recommend. I ordered my items online today and will not return to this brick and mortar. read more

Do not waste your money or your time at Brighton. I've spent hundreds of dollars on purses and jewelry that was of such poor quality that I'm done. I just returned an item, that broke a second time, and asked, can I just get a replacement? I was told the company policy is to just keep repairing, no matter how much it inconveniences the customer. I went to purchase them and pretty much was treated like it was not convenient. They could not find the size and didn't even know enough about their merchandise! I absolutely do not look like the typical gal you will find at a Brighton store. It never struck me as being my kind of store until I received an anklet as a present from a friend. I have enjoyed wearing it ever since. When the Valencia store opened I went in looking to buy for my Mom. I was greeted by two gals and minutes later one came to ask how I was doing. She helped me narrow down a handbag for my Mom. I told her I needed to consult the siblings and she said no problem, here is a card with the name of the handbag on it. Purchased the bag days later only to see the Garbo handbag...it was love at first sight. Put it on my wishlist, told husband about the wishlist =) and got it the next month for our anniversary. My son actually used the wishlist to get me a matching wallet months later! I like shopping here, if you want help they are there, if you want to be left with your own thoughts, they back off. read more

Poor advice take it to a jewelry repair, or leave my piece for 3-4 weeks , although they had same piece, but store policy can't do a exchange If the jewelry is worn :0 unless you buy something $$$$ they all have sarcastic attitude! I was thrilled to see a Brighton Store open in Valencia. On my first visit, the clerk was very helpful and did not try to push me into buying anything. I purchased a purse. On Nov 29, 2011 I was treated quite rudely by one of the sales persons. I walked into store with intention to purchase a nice wallet and was carrying a colorful, hand made bag purchased in Belize. The clerk walked over and asked if she could help. I replied that I was looking, that I have 2 Brighton bags and love the way they are organized. The rude clerk came back with comment, "Then why are you carrying that THING!" She was referring to the handmade bag I was carrying. My comment as I turned and walked out, "Because I LIKE it!" I have never had a clerk treat me with such rudeness. I will go back, but if that clerk is there I will NOT allow her to wait on me. read more

Even after I said No Thank You the sales girl continued on as to the all the reasons why I should donate......$20 is a lot to ask for after already spending a bunch...it seems any donation would be sufficient. I am very disappointed with the quality of Brighton Jewelry. I have been a repeat customer and 3 out of 5 jewelry pieces broke! When I return them for repair, they said they can't due to no longer making items. Beware of this! This policy is NEW. In the past the warranty was a lot longer. I also have noticed a change in their quality, but thought at least they would repair or replace. Their jewelry is TOO EXPENSIVE to have such a limited return & repair policy. Therefore, I will not be returning to Brighton as a customer as I have lost over $200 in the last year after not being able to wear broken jewelry. (And I only wore the earrings 2x, and the watch broke less than 3 months!). read more

I have several pieces of this expensive silver plated jewelry. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way it does not last over time. It tarnishes and even with them sending it back to be cleaned, it came back with the necklace chain still mostly black. They do not replace the chain and cannot as it is threaded through the charm(s) and then there is a clasp. Even if you destroy the chain by cutting it, they do not give or sell a replacement. So you are left with an expensive necklace that has turned black. It is not guaranteed not to tarnish. You cannot clean it with silver cleaner as they said this takes the plating off. So...? Too much money for what is temporarily pretty. Being close to your skin will tarnish it. Then what. The only thing I can think to do is to find a place that sells chains by the inch and have them cut this chain and thread the new one. I would get white gold or sterling. Save your money....Pretty but.... read more
