$$$ Miniso is ZO DOPE $$$

$$$ Japan in SCV $$$ It's no secret, Japanese quality is world renowned. I've been to Tokyo, and it's true, you don't want to throw away anything there. An 8 dollar umbrella there was better than a 50 dollar Macy's one. I can personally verify that this store carries products as good as the ones I purchased and experienced in Japan. Even the 10 dollar pink panther stuffed doll is better than anything at any price in the Disney Store. That's no slight on the Disney Store, their quality is excellent, but Miniso quality is even better, and for literally 1/5th the price. Don't believe me? Go in this store (Located right across the floor from Spencer's on the bottom floor on your way to the foodcourt, or if coming from the other direction, towards the Starbucks) with $20, and see how many awesome items you come out with. I now own flip flops from this store, I now own Men's Cologne from this store, I also own a top quality beanie from this store. All for about $20 This store should be empty, because the products are at such good prices, and at such high quality, that people should be stuffing shopping carts full of this on a daily basis. Need a portable power station that's $50 bucks at Verizon? It's $12 here. Need some high quality Goat hand lotion that would $30 at Bed Bath and Beyond? It's $8 here. Need a super hip and well made mini purse that costs $40 at Forever 21? It's $14 here. Seriously, get inside this store, because it's a serious Game CHANGER!!! Love you Miniso! Thanks for loving me!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Great value and prices! Very clean and orderly. Not big selection of snacks but moreso trinkets and little things. Just a smaller version of the store at this location.

The store is fully packed for Christmas! Every person working there was very nice. The store was…read morepacked! We went in for one thing, hangers and walked out with $333.00 worth of merchandise. You know the cute green and red paper you wrap your gifts in the boxes with ? Well this store has all sorts of Christmas paper with designs like you'd get if you used those scissors on them with the different cuts. They have Christmas trees on some and on others Santa Claus . We couldn't decide so we got them all. They had a case of old Disney characters and marked them down to $39.99. I did not get any because my daughter was with me and I wanted one for her. I think what I like most about HomeGoods is they give you many, many different choices of items to buy. We bought a bunch of games for our family to play on Christmas Day. Then they had a Christmas scavenger hunt which I bought for my Sunday School kids to have a Christmas party with. They have kitchenware, glassware, pet supplies and gifts, furniture, food, gift baskets, clothes, beddings and they are all marked down. They also have hangers and hampers, plants, games, silverware, this store has it all. One stop shopping. We finally said that we came in for one item and we needed to leave. Lily checked us out. She was so fast! She smiled and welcomed us. Asked if we wanted a charge card and then started ringing us up and talking to us about pleasantries the whole time. We felt welcomed and she is a multitasker! She'd make a great manager. Go here because it is one stop shopping! Merry Christmas!

I bought a rice cooker for this location that was completely nonfunctional. I came back with my…read morereceipt, expecting a straightforward return -- you know, the kind any reasonable store handles in five minutes. Instead, I was subjected to a lesson in corporate logic so baffling it deserves its own case study. A 'coordinator' named Mirna informed me that my return was problematic because the item had been used. Yes. I used the rice cooker. To find out it didn't work. That is, in fact, the only way one would discover a rice cooker doesn't work. Mirna's concern? She couldn't put a used item back on the floor. Here's a thought, Mirna: you also shouldn't put a BROKEN item back on the floor. The problem isn't that I used it -- the problem is that it doesn't function. Those are two very different things, and the distinction matters. After this lecture, she graciously announced she would make a 'one time exception' and accept my return. An exception. For a defective product. Returned with a receipt. The audacity of being made to feel like a charity case for returning merchandise that simply does not work is something I won't forget. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that understands what a warranty -- or basic customer service -- actually means

Barn & Charm is truly a hidden gem in Newhall. I happened to…read morebe in the area grabbing coffee and decided to stop by, and I'm so glad I did. From the outside, it looks pretty unassuming, but the moment I walked in, I was honestly shocked at how big it is and how much they have inside. This place is packed in the best way possible. It's a vintage lover's dream with so many cute, fun, and unique finds. From knick-knacks and home décor to jewelry, greeting cards, soaps, plants, and vases... they truly have it all. There's even a mix of quirky and slightly creepy pieces (those vintage dolls definitely caught my eye) which gives the store so much personality. All types of novelty fun things here. Vintage-New!!! I ended up spending a good 45-50 minutes just browsing, and you could easily spend even longer. I actually walked out with a few things, including the most beautiful opal ring that I'm absolutely obsessed with, and a cute little plant with a vase. If you're ever looking for a gift, this is the place to come. Everything feels unique and thoughtfully curated it honestly gives "Etsy in real life" vibes. The girl who helped me was super kind and sweet, which made the experience even better. Overall, I had such a great time here. I'll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend checking this spot out.
