    I have spent thousands of dollars at this store. Spoke with manager about an item that they could not get. They were very rude.

We went in for one thing, hangers and walked out with $333.00 worth of merchandise. You know the cute green and red paper you wrap your gifts in the boxes with ? Well this store has all sorts of Christmas paper with designs like you'd get if you used those scissors on them with the different cuts. They have Christmas trees on some and on others Santa Claus . We couldn't decide so we got them all. They had a case of old Disney characters and marked them down to $39.99. I did not get any because my daughter was with me and I wanted one for her. I think what I like most about HomeGoods is they give you many, many different choices of items to buy. We bought a bunch of games for our family to play on Christmas Day. Then they had a Christmas scavenger hunt which I bought for my Sunday School kids to have a Christmas party with. They have kitchenware, glassware, pet supplies and gifts, furniture, food, gift baskets, clothes, beddings and they are all marked down. They also have hangers and hampers, plants, games, silverware, this store has it all. One stop shopping. We finally said that we came in for one item and we needed to leave. Lily checked us out. She was so fast! She smiled and welcomed us. Asked if we wanted a charge card and then started ringing us up and talking to us about pleasantries the whole time. We felt welcomed and she is a multitasker! She'd make a great manager. Go here because it is one stop shopping! Merry Christmas!

    I bought a rice cooker for this location that was completely nonfunctional. Instead, I was subjected to a lesson in corporate logic so baffling it deserves its own case study. A 'coordinator' named Mirna informed me that my return was problematic because the item had been used. Yes. I used the rice cooker. To find out it didn't work. That is, in fact, the only way one would discover a rice cooker doesn't work. Mirna's concern? She couldn't put a used item back on the floor. Here's a thought, Mirna: you also shouldn't put a BROKEN item back on the floor. The problem isn't that I used it -- the problem is that it doesn't function. Those are two very different things, and the distinction matters. After this lecture, she graciously announced she would make a 'one time exception' and accept my return. An exception. For a defective product. Returned with a receipt. The audacity of being made to feel like a charity case for returning merchandise that simply does not work is something I won't forget. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that understands what a warranty -- or basic customer service -- actually means

We ended up choosing a couch from the Essential Collection with gel seats, and it is unreal. The fabric selection process was effortless, and we customized it in the Snow color with the Hilltop pattern no stress, no confusion, just fun. The best part? Zero issues. It's washable! Our custom couch was ready in just two weeks, and it exceeded every expectation. The quality, comfort, and modern organic style feel like something you'd find at a high-end store for a fraction of the price. Against my better judgment, I walked into this place, looking for a kitchen table and a sofa table with stools. I ended up buying a kitchen table that I liked, and I also liked a sofa table that they did not have in stock at the time. The gentleman ordered it for me and said it would be shipped out to the store and they would call me once it was ready for pick up. We went around back, picked up my kitchen table loaded it on my truck and drove home. I waited a few days for the sofa table. No big deal. They called me and told me it was ready so I show up and there's a box waiting for me in the rear of the building. I explained to them that I did not know it was going to be in a box otherwise I would not have ordered it at all. There is a tall black gentleman with braids in the front of the store, was extremely rude. He jumped at the chance to tell me... "You signed for it. There ain't no returns. Everything is a final sale here. You should read what you sign for" (which I agree) but the attitude I could have done without. First of all, no one was even talking to him. He did not greet me. He saw me at the front door and walked right past me like I wasn't there & didn't bother with me. (Yes I looked a mess) but that's no excuse. It looks like he's just ready to argue with whoever walks in the door. He's been working there for a very long time so I'm sure they won't be getting rid of him anytime soon, but I think people should know what they're dealing with at this location. So I walked back into the store and asked them if there was an extra charge for the build. There was a woman that said we don't usually build anything, but we will do this one time as a courtesy. I really do appreciate that the woman was actually helping... but that was only after I called the customer service line. I had many people tell me they were unsatisfied at the store, and I still went against my better judgment and walked in. Shame on me, it won't happen again. Next time, give people all the information and let them know that they will have to build it themselves when they get home. I could've went to IKEA if I wanted to build my own furniture. Sad.
