A fun store with lot of unique items you wouldn't find anywhere else. I come here for the Disney and Sanrio items when I'm looking for something specific. I also like how everything is relatively inexpensive here. They do have signage to let you know if it'll be more then the base rate or $1.75 They also have a selection of Asian snacks off to the side. This location has self service checkout (card only) or walk up to the young girl and she'll check you out if you have cash. Staff is always friendly here too and store is always clean. read more

I've always loved shopping at Daiso so I was excited when this location opened. Within the last few months I noticed how poor some employee's customer service were. Sometimes they don't even acknowledge you despite making eye contact with them. I'd rather drive thirty minutes to Northridge when I want to shop at Daiso. Edit: Stopped by here to pick up sheet masks. I wanted to see if their service was different but was disappointed to overhear a conversation between two employees. After serving another customer a female staff began to talk about that customer not even a minute after. Again, the staff doesn't greet you or acknowledge that you're shopping in the store. It's uncomfortable to browse items when it seems like they don't you to be there. I think that solidifies my decision to choose another Daiso for future purchases. read more

Located in a popular plaza, parking still easy to find. There are many staple stores to get all your shopping done. For all the Knick-knacks, Daiso for the win. Most items in this store are very affordable and the quality is more justifiable. At most items costing 1.75 to about 5.00, you can get stationary, houseware, kitchenware, garden supplies, home decor, bathroom items, and it goes on. They have license products like Disney, Tokidoki, BT21, Line etc.. Things I love the most about this store is, finding something I wasn't looking for but I need it the moment I see it. For example: Mesh bags for laundry your sweaters or delicates, bottle/jar opener grip, different types, shape and sizes of trays for drawer organizing. The staff are non-stop stocking since the store grand opened over the weekend. Love daiso, highly recommend checking it out. read more

I fell in love with this store! I like how most items are conveniently price at $1.75. I would recommend if you're having a party with goodie bags to buy the decor stuff here. I made valentine bags for my co workers. They also have a section of Disney items! So if you love Disney check it out! I got a bunch of face masks that are made from South Korea, I haven't tried them yet but hope they are good. Definitely going to go back to check get more things! They have a lot of different variety of items, from laundry to even outdoors like a pot for a plant. The pricing is a little odd but just ask an employee. This store is brand new so it was packed with lots of items I did it even know I needed and some I did Decent merchandise for inexpensive prices including sushi rice Prices are 1.75 unless marked otherwise - some Shelves like the rice shelf were labeled or you can look on the package and then the charts hanging up Employees were so nice and there is also self checkout so glad I don't have to drive to the valley anymore read more

My little girl turned me into this place, I thought it was cool! They have a lot of good things at low prices. She likes the little soda they have with some sort of marble thing I guess you have to pop. They have a lot of lower cost items which are nice. The people working here are very friendly. Being from the Bay, this is the one biggest Daisos I've been to. The had a huge selections of goodies and the store is very well organized. I loved that there's a self checkout. This is the first Daiso I've been to that has one. Most of everything is $1.75 unless noted. read more

The store was clean and well stocked. The pricing is good. Being a Japanese stationary store, there is so much selection and many unique finds especially for the home and kitchen. I didn't care for the music playing. Daiso corporate informed me they will make sure the store is complying with their company music policy. Hopefully, the appropriate music will add to the shopping experience. For people with mobility disabilities and need of a mobility aid, disabled parking is directly across the store entrance. The aisles can be a little difficult to maneuver in if multiple people are in the same aisle. Otherwise, getting around the store while in a wheelchair is easy enough. read more

Although I love that I have a Daiso near me, this is the first time their customer service was unbelievably low. My mother and I brought our own TJ's bag to carry the items we wanted to checkout. The girl at the checkout counter took out the items from our bag, scanned everything, and did everything that you would normally expect during checkout. However, after handing our receipt, she didn't put back the products in our bag and turned her back to chat with her coworker and her friend! Apparently, that was more important than making sure we were set to leave with the stuff we bought. The audacity left me and my mother stunned and speechless. If this was self checkout, obviously we would put the items back ourselves in our bag. But this was a normal checkout with a cashier and the girl didn't bother to put them back in our bag. I don't know if they have a special bag policy for customers who choose to not buy a bag from them, but this is not the service I was expecting. I probably won't come back here again until that girl is gone. If you bring your own bag to this Daiso, don't expect them to put your stuff back for you! read more

When you hear " Japanese" dollar store, you expect everything to be made in Japan. That is simply NOT the case. I'd say 90 percent of the items are made in China. Prices begin at 1.75 and go up from there. There were packages of small Ziplock type bags for say jewelry or a few candies being sold for 1.75. Same item on Temu is 59 cents. This won't be a regular stop for me. I'll stick to Temu for any made in China crap I need. Oh, if you order from Temu, order from the website, not the app. Don't download the app. read more

Just want to make sure people aren't confused by the pricing. A few comments have noted the yen to dollar "conversion" - it is not a literal currency conversion. [Remark: That would be illogical since the exchange rate is always changing]. It is the way they communicate the USD price of products so that they don't need to change the JPY (Japanese Yen) labels/tags. I assume that it also looks "more expensive" in USD because it is an import, after all, and costs/expenses to get the products into and able to be sold in the US are effectively added on. read more
