I'm pretty sure the drive in from the light took longer than the whole process. The guy at the counter was pretty chill, friendly, and informative. The total came out to $25 and they take cards (I don't recall a card fee) and when it came time to register my car, I had everything I needed and the VIN form was perfect.

I arrived at 1:15pm on a Thursday and the line was nearly to 30th Ave. At 1:52 I had gone through the ticketing gate and I was 2nd in line for my bay (#5). The waiting bay has 3 chairs and is very narrow. There were only about 3-5 of us in there at a time. The man issuing tickets, Viviana who checked my car in, and the woman who checked me out (camo hoodie) all couldn't have been nicer. It's a pretty thankless and repetitive job, but they were kind, polite, and pretty fast. I was on my way by 2:29. There is an additional 3% fee for credit card payments. Overall, it sucks we have to do this once every 5 years but you have a choice as to how you treat others and how it affects your day. Bring a book and a snack, take a chill pill, and say thank you.
