When you enter, there is a ramp inside the store to take you smoothly down into the main book displays. The children's section is in the front section. Other genres are clearly labeled throughout the store. Don't miss the second half of the store in the other room. The bookstore is locally owned and has a large, knowledgeable staff, so you will always find someone friendly and willing to help you navigate the shelves. Personally, I love that the store features banned books, as I always want to read what they don't want me to read! I like the staff picks too and reading their thoughts on a book. I appreciate that local authors are highlighted here. On my last visit, I was thrilled to score a signed copy of a local author's book that is only sold at Page 158 Books. I also got another book not normally in my genre for a more fun read. Page 158 Books has book clubs, author signings, and other events. Back when they were on White Street, they had coloring nights and brought the community together and introduced me to the store. It is a great local bookstore!

I didn't end up ordering the book bc it's being given as a gift. But our group (me, 2 teens and a preteen) left with 5 books, a pin and a patch. I also got a reward off my next purchase! There was a painful pause as he waited for my reaction, wanting to relish in it, presumably, but I just said "ok then..?" And shrugged. I had to pry that info from him. So forget it.

Hooray for independent booksellers. So & So is a small bookstore. Sharing a space with an architectural firm, what you see when you first walk in, is what you get. There's not aisles and aisles of books, but that's what makes it easy to spend some time looking. The children and young adult section is a decent size, surprisingly, so it will give the kids something to do while you spend time looking. Mostly current authors, and a fair mix of biographical, non-fiction and informational, So & So does its job -- offering something different when time and boredom with the common stuff can make book shopping a chore. None of that is an issue here.

I like their event schedule. I like the focus on books. I like the ultra fast wifi and nice pastries. What I'm no fan of is the very obvious target market of moms, leaving me feel a bit left out. It's super in-your-face. But hey, I guess stay-at-home mothers need stuff to do too. Can't see myself returning, so I wish them all the luck in the world. Best, A.

It's a small store but the carefully curated selection of handmade items makes a huge impact. The handmade jewelry selection is awesome. The statement pieces you will find here are super unique. Some of the rings were made from recycled vintage earrings. Definitely not the kind of stuff you see everywhere. They also had stickers galore for me and all the planner lovers, which made me happy. T-shirts, tote bags, bag charms, and on and on. And bonus: there's a great juice and smoothie bar right next door, which makes the whole stop even better. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which always makes a shopping experience feel special. The person at the register reminded me that the store closed in 15 min. It was 8:45 in the evening, and soon after, our table was ready. I bought those earrings. My one negative feeling was the pricing. Even the things I wanted were financially out of reach for me. We were about to spend over one hundred dollars at the restaurant, and these earrings were affordable. Other items weren't. Will I go again? I think I will. Lots of cool companies selling their homemade goods there. I understand marketing and price points. Everyone deserves a profit. If I come into some money, I'll try and spend it there.
