Found right beside the defunct Mervyn's, this establishment does good service for the community. They offer same day service but since I drop off a month's worth of laundry, it's understandable that I have to pick it up the next day. That is good enough for me because other cleaners tell me that it takes days. Then, I recently dropped off a queen-size down comforter one afternoon and they told me I could pick it up the next day. When I did, they even packed it in a bag that looked just as if I had bought it brand new. And it smelled oh, so clean! The owners are very nice, too! read more

I brought my clothes here until the day I moved. Now that I'm back in the area, I didn't even need to look for a place to get my dry cleaning done. They are both affordable and friendly (so I question the authenticity of the reviewer who suggests he was denied service). They are quick on the turn around since they do everything in house, and since I have never had anything ruined I will continue doing business here. read more

Came to get my 7 shirts, and 3 pants at 6:30 pm, and they are closed. Their hours sign says, on weekdays, they close at 7 pm. I try calling their buisness phone number, and no one picks up. Looks like I can't wear my favorite shirt to a wedding. read more

I just dropped off my clothes today. I am confident that I won't need to revise this review. What a great cleaners! The owner, George, was such a nice guy! Outstanding service. I need my clothes laundered and dry cleaned by tomorrow and he said it won't be a problem! No extra charge for same day service even! In my experience, this is rare. They ruined a very expensive dress from SAKS. they took no responsibility and would do nothing to rectify the problem now I'm stuck with a expensive dress that I only got to wear 1 time the white is now a dingy grey with an orange stains and the fabric is very distorted will never take my dry cleaning here again! read more

I have never rated anything before (at least none that I can remember). Within the last year I bought a suit from Men's Wearhouse and the only time I wear it is occasionally to church (not really a fan of suits). I have not worn those pants but maybe 4 or 5 times max. When my wife brought them home they have a hole in the thigh. The gentlemen who I spoke with simply said it is impossible for them to make any holes in any clothes. All I know is there was no hole when they went it, and now there is a hole... in my nearly brand new suit pants. Very upsetting and I am now out a pair of expensive suit pants. read more

Bright Cleaners does a great job. A delight to find them in Turlock. I previously used Rytina Cleaners in Sacramento, when I lived there, and they were considered one of the best cleaners in the US. Bright compares very well with them on the work which I have taken in. They are fast with turnaround, do a great job, and there is value for the price charged. [They even did the little things like remove or cover the buttons on my good knit suits.] I recommend them with no reservations. read more

My wedding dress was super dirty as I had an outdoor wedding. I have never had anything dry cleaned but I've always noticed this place next to my bank. I decided to take it in and I am super pleased. They not only cleaned my dress really well but they actually fixed a little rip caused by guests during dancing! How kind of them! I will recommend for sure. I used to take my clothes here all the time when it was the wife working in the front dealing with the customers and it was a great experience each and every time. However, the husband began running the front several years ago and I feel like he is running it into the ground. He tends to be on the negative side to the point where I ask myself why does he keep doing this? He looks absolutely miserable. Because of this we switched to another cleaning service. A few weeks ago we decided to give them another shot because of how expensive the other place is. My wife took in a long summer dress. Mind you, this is a dress that you would wear on the beach. When my wife came to pick it up he told her that it was a gown and he should have charged her more but would do her a favor. They way he treated my wife made her feel like she tried to pull a fast one on him to save a couple of bucks which was not the case at all. When I think of a gown, i think of something akin to a wedding/prom dress. The funny part is, he was the one who took the dress and inspected it when my wife dropped it off so why didn't he tell my wife that he considered it a gown before cleaning it and they could have settled it right then and there. Given the downward trend in customer service and this final incident, I would not recommend using Bright Cleaners. read more

I try not to go to extremes with the star grading but for an owner one day to tell me feedback about my dissatisfaction is valuable to him as a business owner because that's what allows them to get better, to a couple weeks later and only about 3 or 4 visits later, sorry we're not the place for you because you expect too much out of us. I try to be a fair customer and I would say his first attempt at keeping my business was all fluff and it isn't a place you should rely on for consistent service. Sure he seems friendly and helpful. But there are plenty of places that do same day dry cleaning and honestly you may not even want a place like that. If they're that slow, it may be for a good reason. If they're that fast, what are your expectations of quality? I've actually used this place almost 2 years ago and am kicking myself for thinking I could try to be a content client here.
