Beware. This dry cleaner lost one of my suits and made no effort to resolve the issue when I called them about it or when I went to see them

Beware. Dishonest. My mom died a year ago. I decided to use her comforter and matching upholstered furniture in my bedroom. She had great taste and to remember her, Id love to have it. My grandson got a few drips of a fudgesicle on the comforter. I decided to use a cleanser in my new neighborhood. I'm so sorry I did not check reviews. Bright Cleaners on GreenOaks is horrible. I didn't like them not having a drive through but wanted to use them out of convenience and find a cleaners near me. I walk in and leave the spread and am told to come back Saturday to pick up. I came back 3 times beyond Sat because they told me it wasnt ready. I thought about just taking it back before they lost it or something but finally they gave it to me and said, we couldn't get the stain out. Its in a plastic bag so I didn't look it over. I get it home, comforter still in the bag. I spread it out on the bed and it shrunk from a king to a double bed size. I also notice, it must have torn and been sewed up. The seam must have come undone because they have the amature sewing job and the part sewn is in a weird looking raised section about 9 inches long. When they had told me they couldn't get the stain out, they didn't mention it had been tortured and beaten beyond repair. When I had picked it up, I said, "why should I pay for the service if you didn"t get the stain out?" and they said we tried so you need to pay. I paid and now I'm just dumb founded at the incompetence of Bright Cleaners. read more

Zero professionalism. Location has 1 assign parking spaces and the very hateful woman runs out claiming that I couldn't park ln a nonassign spot. I Express ok I will move my vehicle well apparently that was not enough she proceeded to follow me into the store I went into and hold the door waiting for me to go back out. I looked at her and told her on a firm voice that I said I will be out there making a scene at the location where I was going to conduct some business. She rolled her eyes as if I was inconvenience her. The manager at the location where I was going doing business with apologize and explain that she is certainly is rude and allowed me to move my vehicle. Word of caution DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE WHO CAN NOT CONDUCT THEMSELVES PROFESSIONALLY. read more

So my previous dry cleaning place I reviewed was the wrong one...lol....here goes again! Bright cleaners is easy to get too and the staff is kind. They have up to date computer systems, from the last dry cleaners i went to, and the place is pretty clean! Havent lost or destroyed any of my clothing! thats a plus! :-) read more

I've never had a problem coming here. You can go in or drive through, it's really the same experience. I only see one lady now and she's always friendly. They are open Monday - Saturday. Most of all, my clothes have never come back in bad condition. read more

I purchased a groupon for wedding dress preservation. I dropped my gown off and unfortunately had to deal with the owner who accused me of already using the groupon (yes, I used the groupon, had my gown preseved in a box and brought it back to get preseved again--totally makes sense, NOT). Manager/owner seemed very argumentative and not customer friendly. No mention of any additional fees were discussed while I was dropping off my dress. I came in the following Saturday and he was not there but his clerk was. The clerk informed me of a $29 charge that she couldn' explain. She told me to come back in on Monday between 7am-2pm to speak to the owner. With my work schedule being 630AM-4PM I had to go up there during my lunch hour to speakwith him. He explained it was the tax for the cleaning (taxed on the full service of $220 not what I paid of $110..interesting). I said thats fine, but why wasn't it explained to me when I dropped off the gown? Or better yet, explained to your employee so I didn't have to waste my lunchhour with this bs? He stated I should have had the employee call him--apparently it was my responsibilty to investigate a fee he was charging me. With the way the economy is, every customer should be appreciated & treated with respect. If you don't like offering groupon deals, then don't. It's not a requirement. STEER CLEAR. read more

Very poor cleaning services. I took in 3 suits and 2 blazers. They placed all of my blazer including a nice winter velvet blazer on a single wire hanger. The cleaning quality was very poor and steam wrinkles are very visible on my sleeves as well as collar and lapel. $40 for a very poor job. Also, the lining in one of my blazers had come undone and I know it wasn't like that when I took it in. Instead of just saying if we did this we apologize and will fix it. I was told we didn't do that (as if he saw everything that went on with my blazer) but, they will fix it...I will not be returning after I pick up my blazer. read more

Bright Cleaners uses the old bait and switch method to get customers. they advertise 89 cents laundered shirts on a big sign and then you get there..they limit it to five and say you have to have another dry cleaning order. when i complained about the bait and switch..the owner or manager claimed they are losing money on the ad and they were doing me a favor for running the advertisement. I've been taking my clothes to Bright Cleaners since moving to GP 2 years ago. Robin has always been extremely helpful, knows when my husband or I pull up by ours cars, and has our clothes ready. She's so sweet! They also have the best prices I've found in area! I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I had a couple of my nicer dresses cleaned there. Both came back carelessly safety-pinned to the hanger & both still had deodorant on them. One had some weird gummy, sticky stuff on the front which definitely wasn't there before. I managed to treat all issues with a little dab of vinegar, but if I wanted to do this myself, why did I pay them? I won't be back. read more

The lady up front was really nice! I had to get some pants dry cleaned for an interview the following day. Even though I brought them in way after the cutoff for next day service, they were able to get them out before 11 AM the next day! Talk about outstanding service! I tipped them in addition to paying the rush charge, but it was totally 100% worth it. I am actually going to go in this morning and get 5 new shirts done, because they were folded in those bags with pins all through them and they look like a sumo wrestler sat on them. I also spilled marinara sauce on another shirt during the lunch following the interview from a few weeks ago. I will try to update this review based on this experience as well. read more

RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF, Best bet is to pass this place by. Took a jacket in to have zipper repaired and some older woman with blonde hair and her black roots showing said 3 days and will be about $ 27.00. I said ok. When I went to pick it up the cost was $ 47.00. I told the girl there what the other lady said and she said, " well you said the company was paying for it", but damn that does not give you the right to charge double. I told her I should have followed all the bad reviews on this place and gone else where. She said, " I guess so". NEVER GO THERE. Nothing but bad service. read more

I just moved to the area and this was my first time at this business. When I walked in at 6:10 PM the clerk in mediately asked me if I had a lot of clothes in the bag. She then said if it's a lot then she wasn't going to take them because she was getting ready to close even though the sign said they were open until 7 PM. I reminded her of the time and she stayed it well if it was it closer to 7:00 I wouldn't take them any way. I asked for the manager's information three times and she refused to give it to me. I dropped off four dress shirts along with four pair of slacks. The associate stated they absolutely have a "press only service". I like that. The associate promised they would be ready before 5 PM and they were ready well before the guaranteed time. I like that too. The cost of this service was very reasonably priced. Who doesn't like that? I picked up my shirts and pants and when I got a good look; I was disappointed. I was in the Navy and became quite adept at ironing my uniforms. (BTW I'm sick of ironing). They were not pressed they were ironed. And not a very good job. read more

Do not take your clothes that are of expensive value to this cleaners. On August 3rd I took $70 worth of clothing to be cleaned pressed starched and creased. My favorite and a very expensive pair of True Religion Jeans that I own have now come up missing. I have gone by at the cleaners 7 times in the last 7 days. Every employee that I have talked with can't seem to find my item of clothing and when I asked to speak to an owner she's never there or she's coming in the next day. I have left my phone number and ask to be called and I still have not received a phone call. Today is September 11th and I still cannot get a call back from the owner. With 2 new employees on staff now, STILL NO ONE seems to know where my jeans. Every time I have gone to this cleaner there seems to be new staff constantly. That should have been a hint in itself DO NOT take your clothing to this cleaners. Am I really going to have to sue ovet a pair of True Religion Jeans? read more

They must have better quality machines/cleaner here because I can tell a difference between clothes I brought to Bright Cleaners and clothes I brought to my previous cleaner. Worse cleaners in all of DFW area. I was promised my pants that were being altered would only take one week, turns out it took three weeks. I drove to the store about a dozen times and was told they didn't know where they were. Finally I had to write a letter to "manager" asking for my pants or money for the 6 pair they couldn't find. I never received a call from the so called "manager ". Finally I drove up there again today and my pants magically appeared. They were not cleaned or pressed as requested. Alterations were sloppy !! The "manager" was there and never once apologized for the inconvenience they caused me , I requested a discount for the delay and hassle and the "manager" rolled her eyes and said she couldn't give me a discount. Never once did she apologize all she did was make excuses !!! I WILL NEVER GET MY CLOTHES CLEANED OR ALTERED THERE AGAIN . BAD SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.
