On December 26th, the engine of our car stopped running. We had it towed to a local shop who in…read moretown, who did a diagnostic and estimate. The local shop quoted us 10,000 for the replacement, which we panicked about affording. We found Brighton Auto & Diesel Clinic and worked with them to get the vehicle towed down there. They confirmed the diagnostic and also another issue with the vehicle that had been undetected. They gave us a much cheaper estimate (over 6k less than the original shop.) After that and a small down payment, the engine was ordered. Thanks to diligence on the part of the front desk staff, we were able to order a used engine with less than 6000 miles on it to replace the one that had died at 84,000 miles. Although there were some slight weather delays, the shop was able to get the car up and running in a timely manner once everything was received and it's worked great since; we've had our car back just over a month now. Very glad that we used this shop and will definitely go back to them in the future, even though they are an hour out of the way from Loveland.
