NEVER go to Bride's choice! It's hard to comment on their customer service because they really don't have any. Myself and three friends all purchased our bridesmaid dresses there. All four of us need MAJOR alterations done to our dresses despite being measure prior to making our purchases. The owner measured me and said that according to my measurements I would need to get a 2 sizes larger than my usual size. After waiting 4+ months for the dress to arrive, I tried it on and was shocked to see that it literally slid off of me (despite being the same weight I was 4 months ago). I tried on my friends dress which was a size smaller, and it was also too big for me. I went back to the salon and explained this to the owner who said her measurements were right and I must have lost weight. She then told me that it would be $35 to take in the top and $60 to hem the dress, which is at least 5 inches too long. Needless to say I am going else where for my alterations. They don't know how to take measurements, have zero customer service skills, and are way overly priced. DO NOT go to this place, we would have been better off buying $90 dresses at David's bridal that would require no alterations instead of paying $200 for a poorly made dress that needs an additional $100 in alterations due to the incompetence of the owner who never learned how to properly use a tape measurer. read more

I had a good experience here. I needed to get a bridesmaid's gown for my sister's wedding. My sister picked out the brand and color, but we could pick out the style. I went to the brand's website, picked my dress out, and went to Bride's Choice. They had it in stock and I tried it on and loved it. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. It was inexpensive, too. The price was right and the lady working there didn't try to get me to try on a bunch of other gowns. read more

Ugh...Zee was so unfriendly and cold. I walked in with my sister and she never introduced herself but told us to just head upstairs. She picked out all the dresses for me based on a description I had given her. Most of the dresses were on par to what I was looking for but non of the dresses I tried on were "the dress". Zee made my sister wait in another room leaving me to put on these over-sized dresses (size 10), I'm a size 6. It was a pain...she would hand over the dress through the door and I had to find my way into the dress. Every other place I have been to has allowed someone to come to help me get into theses dresses. She pulled EXTREMELY hard when tying the corset. Zee never made any comments on how the dresses looked on me so apparently they looked horrible and she just didn't want my business. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I live in Waltham so thought going to a local shop would be beneficial. I'm happy to drive cross country to find my dress versus 2 miles from my house. read more

I do not suggest getting your dresses here at all. Zee is very rude to customers, including the fact she told one of my bridesmaids she needs to use spanx (she doesn't). She also refused to admit she neglected to mention the last payment needs to be cash so after my out of state bridesmaid sent a check, Zee gave me a very hard time about picking up the dress because the last payment was not cash. She insisted all of her employees would have told us the store's payment policies, but we were never told. After i told her i had record of the times i had spoken to her & what she told me was expected payment-wise, she denied saying any of it. She is extremely rude, unfriendly & completely unpleasant to work with. Buy your dresses somewhere else!!! This store does not deserve the business. I have never met anyone in my life so unfriendly and rude who works in customer service!! read more

This is a great little wedding dress shop - don't overlook it. Zee, the Owner, has had years of experience and they have a great selection. With limited time to look for a dress, we made an appointment at the last minute. Maria, the assistant, was so sweet and patient, listening to what my daughter wanted and finally brought out the perfect Maggie Sottero gown. Then Zee, the Owner came out and helped. She measured and fitted so that minimal alterations were necessary. The price was reasonable, the service fantastic and the overall feeling was perfect. Zee is experienced, talented and sweet. My daughter looked amazing. read more

I have purchased three bridal gowns at Bride's Choice; one for a daughter; a second for a niece; and a third for another daughter. The gowns are high-quality and elegant. For religious reasons, the gowns had to have shoulders and sleeves. Zee and Maria searched the stock for what we needed. Each gown had been reduced in price. I took each gown to a dressmaker for custom alterations. Our family is very satisfied with the merchandise and the service. It is worth a call and a trip to Bride's Choice! read more

Yes! Brides Choice was incredible in helping my bridal party find bridesmaids dresses. We worked with Maria, who was so lovely and helpful. To start, she helped us find the exact color and the designers that offered the color that I was envisioning. Lots of places don't let you pull the dresses you want to try on, but Brides Choice sent us all into the back room and let us pull dress after dress for the style, color, and designer. (I was flexible about letting my girls pick a dress they wanted in the cut they wanted, it just had to be in the right color). We must have pulled 50 dresses. Maria brought them all down to the fitting area so my girls could try them on. She was helpful in clipping the dresses for fit and giving feedback to us. We made a decision and ordered, and she gave us a group discount - so nice! Don't let the negative reviews turn you off. I had much better luck here than other bridal shops in the area. Thanks Brides Choice! Can't wait for my wedding day. read more

I'm shocked to see such negative reviews about Bride's Choice as my experience was nothing but amazing! My bridesmaids and I called out of the blue to see if we could schedule an appointment for that day, they had a cancellation so we were in! When we got there the dress I had been dreaming about was on the mannequin at the top of the stairs, I told Anita (I believe that was her name) that I wanted to try on that dress. She suggested we try on other dresses too while she got this dress off the mannequin to be sure there wasn't something else I liked too. I tried on others while someone removed the dress from the mannequin but wasn't in love with anything. I put on the dress from the mannequin and knew it was the one! It was ready 4 months later and I went with a coworker at lunch to make sure it was the right dress, when we got there they asked if I wanted to try it on again even though I didn't have an appointment to do so, so of course I did! I made my first fitting appointment and went with my mom and future-mother-in-law. Zee did all the hemming and alteration measurements and was so warm and engaging with us, it felt like she was part of the family. She voiced her opinion and wasn't afraid to let us know what she thought. She then put up with me as I tried on 6 different veils before picking one! She was nothing but helpful and made the whole process great! When I went back for my second fitting after the alterations had been done the dress still had to be taken in more as I had lost weight but Zee said no problem, easy to do. They had tightened the shoulder straps too much however and Zee admitted that was there fault and they would fix it at no extra charge. Again. Zee was helpful and acknowledged they had made a mistake and they would fix it. When I went back for my last fitting everything was fixed and perfect. When I went to pay the final alteration balance Zee told me that the bustle was more than she had originally quoted me on but was not going to charge me for that as she had quoted me lower (it should have cost double what she quoted me). She also gave me a $50 credit towards a veil since I bought the dress the day I tried it on, so the veil was essentially free. For all the alterations I needed done, I spent only $300 - I needed it taken in 3 sizes, shortened 3 inches, bustled with 9 buttons, and the shoulder straps shortened. Definitely a deal for only $300! While the decor and ambiance of the store are definitely dated and in need of a refresher this place is definitely a hidden gem, mostly because of the very attentive and welcoming staff!! Every time I went back Anita and Zee would both great me like I was a friend and would actually remember me and my friends/family from previous fittings or appointments. I even brought a bridesmaid dress I needed altered here for those alterations and they came out perfectly! I live about 20 miles from Bride's Choice so it's not the most convenient location to me, but I have no problem making the trip for fittings/alterations/and other clothing alterations as they are worth the drive. read more

Don't bother! We went for bridal gowns and although the salesperson was very nice and did her very best, we found the management and no photo policy terrible. Being able to take pictures enables you to see how the gown will photograph, which is important since you'll be photographed in it all day! Also, when gown searching you try on so many that photos really help you to keep them all straight and remember what you liked about each. Never mind that gowns are very expensive and if you are spending such a large amount, I think you should be able to snap a photo to help you make a better choice. The atmosphere was so unfriendly, we felt like criminals! Photos of all these gowns are online, they are not secret designs, this policy is just not good customer service. We proceeded on to Camillas in Arlington which was terrific and allowed photos. We had a great experience at Camillas and found the gown there! read more

The most uncomfortable experience ever. The saleswoman was so unfriendly and not at all helpful. Based on the color we wanted for bridesmaid dresses, only a few designers carried it. Instead of asking my girls what styles they liked and bringing out ones that came in the right color, they sent us into the backroom alone, with hundreds and hundreds of dresses. It was overwhelming and half the dresses they picked out were sent back because they apparently didn't come in our color. It might have been nice if the saleswoman brought dresses out for us,since she knew which ones came in our color and we had no idea, instead of letting us fend for ourselves. It was frustrating and extremely poor customer service, especially compared to other places. My experience at David's Bridal, where I bought my wedding dress, was 30x better. Skip this one ladies! read more

I've had a very good experience at this place. I've been to many bridal salons and no one was as nice and as friendly as the Bride's choice crew. Z is such an understanding lady, she'll make sure you're happy with your order. I definitely recommend this place for any bridal service. they also have Tux rentals, so you can get everything from one place. read more

I could not have gone to a better place than Bride's Choice to buy and alter by wedding dress and also, all 10 bridesmaids dresses!!!! The owner, Zee took the time and listened to what style of dress i was looking for. She has a very large selection of dresses to choice from, so there is a dress for every bride in the store!! the prices are extremely reasonable and Zee will show you dresses in your budget and not try to push a sale!! You can try on as many dresses as you like and take your time picking and choosing which dresses you would like to try on! I truly had the best experience and would HIGHLY recommend bride's choice for any bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride!!!! read more

This place is absolutely the best kept secret in the Boston area! I found my wedding dress here after going to a few other bridal stores in the area (like Vows and Aria) and Bride's Choice had the best selection and customer service by a long shot. I am incredibly picky about quality, and every dress I tried on here felt worth the money. My budget was a max of $2000 and I only ended up spending about $1400 for my dream dress. The owner is incredibly nice and even let me move my final fittings a few times since I was having trouble finding the right shoes. Great style variety, quality, and customer service. I cant recommend it enough! read more

A wonderful, helpful place, great service amazing dresses, a must go. Let me start by saying I was the worlds most indecisive bride. Before going to Bride's Choice I had gone to 6 different bridal shops and tried on so many dresses, each was gorgeous and lovely and fit well, but something was missing. Bridal's Choice not only had the best selection of dresses including maggie sorrentino but the service was amazing, I found my dress not because they had the gorgeous one that looked great and fit my personality but becuase they took the time to get to know me find a dress that was what I wanted made me feel special and beautiful and where just wonderful to deal with. The people working there are so nice and attentive I was able to feel like a bride and they helped me see myself in each dress as a bride they where detailed oriented, and could see what I needed, the dress I feel in love with had a ribbon when I put it on they could see in my face I loved it but was not sure they talked to me got to know what I wanted and so they quickly pulled out a slightly lighter ribbon and said try it with this, at that moment I knew it was my dress it was the detail and attention that helped me find it. I truly believe I could have tried on that dress in another store and walked away just unsure as before, but instead they helped me make it my own dress and I fell in love. The saddest part of my wedding being over for me is that I loved my dress so much I just want to wear it all the time. They also do the tailoring in house so from the beginning I had someone who could help me add details pull it in just right so I could imagine it the way it was gonna be. Since I am so indicative I of course cut it close to when I needed it to be ordered they worked with my time frame helped me when I need it, found the perfect dress vial, tailoring, and service all in one place. If I could do it all again I would skip going to the 6 other places save my energy and go to Bride's Choice right away read more

Brides Choice had a great selection of gowns. My gown was absolutely beautiful! The staff was very helpful and really cared that I looked beautiful. They also cared about my stress level! Always asking how I was doing! They were extremely supportive! read more

I had a wonderful experience selecting my dress at Bride's Choice! I went in on a Saturday, which I would imagine is a busier day than most. They did have an appointment before and an appointment after, but I felt in no way rushed or like they weren't attentive to me at all. Maria took information from what I was looking for in a dress and pulled several dresses for me. It also seemed like she took into account my body type when pulling dresses, because every dress I tried on at Bride's Choice looked much better than the dresses I had tried on at a previous store. Maria was very sweet, helpful and patient when finding a dress for me. Zee also provided very helpful input and I felt confident that she had the appropriate vision of what I wanted with the alterations for the dress when it comes in. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I did not feel overwhelmed or stressed at all while I was in the shop. This was exactly what I was looking for! read more

This place is terrible. I made an appointment to try on dresses with a few of my bridesmaids at 1pm on a Saturday. When we got there it was a zoo. There were 3 other groups there already and this place is tiny. No one helped us or even acknowledged that we were there. After awkwardly standing around for 15 minutes we finally got someone to talk to us and she basically said they overbooked (I can understand why because their booking system was a coffee stained notebook with scribbles everywhere). They didn't apologize or anything and just put us in the back room with all the dresses and told us to look around. We were back there for about 30 minutes before someone came back again. They still had no place for us to try on dresses so they offered up their supply closet. Oh, ok. Finally I got to try on some dresses and the woman helping us was AWFUL. She was abrasive, rude, and extremely stressful. She kept making passive aggressive comments about how thin I am, yelled at me when I didn't like a dress she picked out, called me a "plain Jane" for wanting a simple A-line dress, and limited the number of dresses I could try on because it was "getting late and they had another appointment coming in". I feel like it is very hard to have an unpleasant time trying on wedding dresses but this place did everything in their power to ruin the experience. Seriously do not go here ever. read more

All I have to say is everytime I have gone in and I have been in there for my own wedding and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND brides choice to at least 20 friends and we all had a great experience there. Lorena helped me out and a couple of my friends and she was AWESOME and never pressured us at all and was a delight to work with and both Zee and Maria have helped some of my friends and they both were so helpful and all of the ladies that work there made everyone have a great and fun time during wedding pressure. For some of the negative comments you have to be a bridezilla cause the world doesn't revolve around just you! Yes it has been crazy busy there at times and I rather a place that is crazy busy then a place that isn't busy and they are rude when you don't buy. So for you bridezilla if you think your the only bride then you should order online. Every store has policy's and you should honor them. Like I said I have been in brides choice and it has been crazy busy at times but you need patients cause those poor ladies are not miracle workers and they do there best to make everyone happy. So it sickens me to see some of these negative reviews on lies unless one of those ladies said or did anything to harm you you should keep you silly comments to yourself because you sound like spoiled, impatient brats! So for my friends and I that have been there and we all HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRIDES CHOICE! Yours truly ( a reasonable and understandable person) read more
