She has a new convenient location in Beddington that has a nice space for getting fitted with mirrors and natural light. She operates privately now. I'm very dissatisfied with their service. I took a pair of jeans in for my wife to get a broken…read morezipper replaced. They took payment in advance and issued a receipt. When I got them back I realized they had not replaced the zip but put it back together and it immediately broke again. When My wife returned it, the woman acknowledged that it wasn't properly fixed and took it back in. Someone then called me to accuse my wife of bringing in a different pair of pants! The woman said the pants were grey when the receipt said black (they're dark grey washed out from black.) When I argued that they made the mistake and that they needed to do the work or give a refund she wouldn't hear me out and talked over me. She said she would wait until "she" came in meaning my wife or the one who didn't do the work --- I don't know. Then she said that they didn't have the machine to do it! Then I got a "Have a nice day" and she hung up. Don't go here. If you do watch out for any errors on your receipt. The customer is always wrong and they'll accuse you'd being dishonest.

I went for a free consultation for my wedding dress and she quoted me…read moreover $500 just to do a few adjustments to the top of my dress (and just to the top layer) not including the cups. I found her unfriendly and not very helpful. She was also distracted and had back to back appointments, doubling up on each other. When I mentioned having my dress cleaned she said "why, you don't need to". But she did push to have it pressed and steamed for another $130. She wanted half up front and suggested I go to the bank machine down the street. And when I did not accept right away she said "let me know in a day or 2, but if you decide not to use me I'm ok with that". I ended up finding another seamstress that is restructuring the whole top of my dress to fit me and to fit my desires, for $150.

This was okay, she was over priced but we went ahead. The unfortunate part began when I asked if I could try on my dress at the final alteration. She told me I was wearing too much makeup and I would dirty it. My wedding day comes, there are pins in my dress and my dress is too long. I spent my ceremony worrying about tripping and my heels got caught in the tulle. Instead of looking at my husband I was tripping down the aisle and paid 1200 for that. Not happy at all.
