I felt unheard and then literally went unheard when one of them did not text me back. Anyway! I found Amethyst Rose Salon on Ig and then checked them out on yelp. I booked an appointment with Madeline due to their schedule/availability and was really excited for my appointment. I get my haircut only once a year and that happens to be on my birthday. During my season of grief, I wanted to make sure I spent my new year taking care of myself the only way I knew how. Treatments! I told Madeline what I wanted: Long curtain bangs, long layers (rounded and not cut into a V) with the shortest layer at my shoulder. Ask and you shall receive. Madeline did the damn thing. I was nervous about starting a new place but everything is clean, and staff is very friendly and detail oriented! They also did a blow out at the end of the treatment which was awesome! I met with her and I shared my frustrations and communicated what I wanted. Kara was honest and told me what she could do to correct what the previous stylist had done to my hair. I loved her honesty and I decided to make the switch. I know it's going to take some time to get my hair to where I want it to be but I do know that I'm in good hands.
