Great for outdoor dining and no nonsense food. The crack fries are addictive. Stick to burgers, etc as many sauces are oddly sugary.

Don't waste your time or money.... there's gotta be better places to eat in Beaufort. Food was just ok, service was very poor. Server brought me the wrong food and then tried to tell me I ordered the wrong thing, finally she said it was her fault and she would bring me a new meal. The hamburgers were overcooked, they were ordered medium well with some pink and came out well done and dry.. why even ask how you want it done if they agent gonna be cooked that way? The chopped salad was not chopped and the chicken on it was super dry and overcooked. Don't waste the money on the crack fries...very little flavor, they didn't taste any different then the regular waffle fries we got Service was super slow...unfocused...waited forever to get out bill cause she got distracted....again. To make our experience even worse, my son paid for lunch with his credit card and didn't add a tip to the card. She asked him if he was just going to leave her a cash tip.. when he said "no ma'am", she went asked him why he wasn't going to tip and he explained about the service... she went on a rant arguing with us and saying that's how she makes her money. I said a tip is for service and we had terrible service.. she continued to rant and tell us that she would never wait on us again...okay. good... cause we won't be back again I have never had someone ask if we were leaving a cash tip and then argue with us like that's gonna make me say..oh sure, since you argued with us and made everyone around uncomfortable, we'll change our mind and give you our hard earned money even though you didn't work for it???? Pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the food was here!! We started with Chicken Nachos, that could have been my whole meal they were the best I have had in quite sometime. Maria was an absolutely delightful server who's recommendations were spot on the meatloaf sandwich was hands down the best I ever had!! We would come back here again and again. read more

We were out for a drive and saw Bricks with a full parking lot we decided to give it a try. It was a little dark inside but it seemed like a place were locals went. We had a burger and oysters and everything was cooked perfectly as ordered and was very good. Will definitely visit again. read more

Our favorite local wing spot! We like our wings well done - and they are usually very good at making them just the way we ask. The dry rub is perfect and the Sechuan is bangin'. Four of us at Bricks last night. Server was new to the job so we understood that. Ordered my usual salad, asked for a couple of items to be left off. Meals come out and mine is wrong...again! Happens every time we get takeout or eat in here. Very quiet customer wise and yet it took a really long time to bring my new salad to the table...everyone else had finished their meal. And that was after I told the manager what happened. We really want to support local businesses but it's hard when the customer service isn't there. This is a kitchen issue. Bricks is our go-to place in Beaufort. The food is always good. Even if service can be a little slow, it's still friendly. We can recommend the fish, shrimp, fish tacos, sautéed veggies, nachos, lima bean slaw (yep it's good) , chicken fried steak. I hate leaving a bad review. The owners worked hard to build a business, but it's apparent something is arwy. Management? We brought our new Marine out for lunch and settled onto Bricks because of Tripadvisor reviews. Approximately 2 o'clock in the afternoon on a Friday. There were 6 of us including a seven year old, an 86 year old Navy vet, a new Marine, A Coast Guard vet and a 11 year Navy female vet. We entered the establishment and were notified it would be a 20 minute wait. Fine. The bar had a row of open seats and we asked if we could sit there. Of course the 7 year old couldn't sit at the bar but there were several open tall tables right next to where we would be seated. A lady with gray short hair rudely said in a stern voice. You CAN'T SIT THERE! My sister in law was embarrassed and had no idea why she couldn't sit with her grandson at the high table. No explanation why we couldn't sit at the many, many empty tables. No explanation as to why my sister in law couldn't sit at the high rise table. Just rude barking. My sister in law, 86 year old father in law, 7 year old, and my wife went outside to wait, but was angry at the treatment. My son and I started to have a beer at the bar, but my wife came in to tell me how angry at the rude treatment they were. we paid for our beers and went down the road to Dos Amigos where we had an awesome time and meal. I must say the staff at Brick's were not very friendly, no smiles. Is this a hard place to work? sure looks like it if you went by the smile less faces and rude treatment. read more

We are on vacation & on our way to Charleston. We stopped here because it looked like a nice, comfortable place. The food was great! Always enjoy our meals at Bricks. My friend had the liver and onions and cleaned her plate! The rest of us had fried shrimp, buffalo blue and regular, just delicious, my favorite fried shrimp in town. Our server Tori was great, so friendly and on top of everything. She gets 5 stars too!! Just had a wonderful dinner after arriving in Beaufort today. Our server Kim was adorable, funny and a very good server w/ great suggestions. We had the Crack fries as an app--waffle fries w/ parm, crab seasoning & 2 dipping sauces -- huge and so delicious. My husband had the Spicy Flounder (blackened) sandwich--so good and I had the Cobb Salad w/ chicken which was scrumptious--gorgeous and huge!!! Easily could have fed a family of four. Our second and last visit unfortunately. The food was once again mediocre. Neither burger was cooked to the temp requested. It was also obvious that the hamburger patties were frozen, not fresh. Service was slow but we could overlook that due to the changes implemented following their reopen. The mushroom and pickle appetizer was delicious. A dinner of two mediocre (at best) burgers, two beers and an appetizer was over $50. Not a great experience. read more

We were looking for a great local place for a burger n beer early evening and came across "Bricks on the Boundary" outside of Beaufort center. Bricks was busy, tables were just about full so we sat at the bar. The bartender named "Cee Cee" I mean CT who took care of us. CT was a busy man making drinks for the bar and waitress's. The bottle beer was keep on ice, the mugs were frozen, just what you want for a 90 + degree day. We ordered burgers, I like mine pink, my wife well done. The burgers came out perfect, mine pink, my wife well done and juicy, not dry. It is a great local place, not a stuffy chain. Nice local crowd. Great place, great bartender. "Cee Cee" I mean CT , can't wait to go back to Beaufort to see you for a couple of ice cold beers and a great burger! I really wanted to try the meatloaf sandwich. read more

The food was good but the service was slow. If you're busy, I get that, I don't mind waiting, just tell me. We waiting for at least 10 minutes before the server even took our drink order. Had she walked by and just said "Hi folks, I'll be with you in just a moment" I wouldn't have been mad. I just don't like being ignored. Our food seemed to take forever to come out, and again, we were left in the dark. The server should've just come to the table, told us there was a delay and checked if we needed refills. None of that happened. It was a great little restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but they need a more attentive staff. read more
