The bar was full and the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Everyone seemed to know each other. The decor was fun and eclectic. Our server was friendly. The online menu lists a "tasting menu", so we were expecting to select several dishes as part of a tasting - but it's actually a list of tapas. 3-4 taoas each are suggested, we selected a handful of dishes- which was plenty of food for two. We started with wine and a cocktail. Ordered the Devils on Horseback (stuffed medjool dates with goat cheese) which were delicious, a refreshing watermelon salad special, a huge poblano pepper stuffed with cheese, brown beans, salsa verde, lime crema, we didn't need any additional protein- the beans were tender and well seasoned and the combination of sauces were perfect. Steak arepas with con queso, parsley garlic oil, spicy mayo were delicious, too. Great experience- great food. I'm sure they'll be in business for years to come.
