Seasonal Beer - delicious !
Barbara F.

I'm visiting out of town relatives and my sister-in-law recommended this favorite of theirs local pizza restaurant. It was the perfect choice! They go there often and love it. We were a party of six and had to wait a little bit to get a table but it was well worth the wait. It's an intimate, smallish space that is just perfect, not too big to be loud, big enough to seat a nice crowd. We ordered four pizzas and two salads for us all to share and everything was delicious. I think four slices remained for take home and a little bit of salad. I tried a holiday edition local brewery seasonal beer that I loved and will be looking to purchase more before I drive home. Service was perfection, the food was delicious, 5 stars hands down!

What's left of the amazing Brio pizza. So good!

Brick's pizza never disappoints! Love the fresh ingredients and amazing crust. Salads are always fresh and perfect.

This little place has friendly staff and fresh food. The last time I was there, I had the tomato soup made from scratch. I also had the bacon wrapped asparagus. I took pictures of the menu, food and the location. Enjoy.

Awesome Neapolitan pizza. I was not expecting this heading to Hudson for a long weekend. Service, apps, salad and pizza are all 5 stars

Outside of the restaurant - this is as close as you can get right now.

Great pizza, sandwiches, and appetizers! I've been driving to Hudson once a week, eating and reviewing every restaurant in town since Wisconsin re-opened for business in May. And I've been waiting... And waiting... And waiting... For Bricks Neapolitan Pizza to open for indoor seating during lunch hours. I finally gave up. I placed a big takeout order and I brought it home to eat in the Twin Cities. First of all, the food was very good. The Di Bricks Pizza was excellent. My Boca Panini Sandwich was flavorful. And my Artichoke Gratin was savory and wonderful. Finally, my Tiramisu was great. This is a tricky dessert to get right - not soggy, not crusty, just right. Second, I have to knock them a star for not opening up for indoor seating! Wisconsin has been "open" since May. Now, six months later, 95% of the restaurants in Hudson are open for indoor seating. But NOT Bricks! I didn't drive two hours to grab some boxes of food! I know that Bricks has the right to handle the health crisis the way they choose. But I also have a right to free speech and to express my opinion. It's pretty lame that nearly everyone else in Hudson is open for indoor seating - except Bricks. I won't spend another penny with them until they open the dining room. Thumbs up - but they gotta open up! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Went to Bricks last Sunday and enjoyed the view of Downtown Hudson. Ordered the Fish Cakes, and two pizzas. We would go again.

We love this place! The salads are fresh and delish and the pizzas have a crisp crust and the perfect amounts of toppings.

Love this place. Often forget that this is downtown, but so glad when I remember. Have had nothing but great experiences at this place.

Service was great the whole time we were there, prompt, smiles and kept checking on us…read more We went for just apps to give the place a try. The menu looked fun, on line. When we arrived we were seated quickly at a nice table in a themed Italian space. We had the Calamari, an the Escargot. And finished with a piece of their homemade Tiramisu. All were very tasty: Calamari was a crispy, well flavored rings (darn I like the little squid) with a good sauce. The Escargot were plump and the garlic butter they came with was delicious, used the bread (very nice Baguette) to sop it up an hold an Escargot! A finished with the Tiramisu which was everything a good homemade desert should be ! The only suggestion would be to up the presentation on the plate of both of the dish's; the calamari and the escargot But had nothing to do with taste, which was excellent.

We wanted to try Giovanni's since it opened, and finally had a chance to head over with the family…read more The service was very good. The waiter and bus staff were great at getting our requests and being prompt with everything. The food was great & good. All of the food was served fresh and hot as it should be. They have a great house Chianti that is reasonably priced by the bottle. The filet special was out of this world awesome. Cooked perfectly medium rare, the cut was top shelf and flavor was incredible. The whole dish was excellent with the mushroom red wine reduction on top providing that blast of flavors that complemented a filet. I may get this every time if they continue to have it on the menu. The fettuccine alfredo was good. The pasta was home-made and cooked perfectly. The sauce was a bit bland and was missing something. Maybe some more parmesan, maybe just salt, not sure but while it was good, it lacked the big creamy flavor that alfredo should have. Chicken was very good, grilled and tender. So this one was "Good" The seafood special was another "Good" one. The shirimp was done perfectly but the rest of the seafood was maybe just a touch overcooked. The sauce was a cream sauce but like the alfredo it lacked just a bit of flavor that would have made it a superb meal. Many guests will love that we have a very good Italian place again in North Hudson as it's part of the heritage of the community. We will go back for sure!! CM

When I got back to the table, the server had brought one glass of water. I asked my wife about it and she said that she had told the waitress to bring water for both of us, but she had only brought one. I flagged down another employee, and asked for a glass of water. After a significant wait, our server came to take our order. I had the shrimp cavatappi and my wife ordered a coconut chicken salad. While we waited for our food, I tried to flag down the server for a refill on my water. She seemed focused on what she was doing and was not paying attention to other guests in the dining room. After several attempts, I finally got her attention and asked for another glass of water. When our food came out, my wife asked for a refill on her water. A good server should not need to be asked. The food was excellent, which really saved this review. After finishing our meal, we again had to flag down our server to get our bill. When she brought it, she did not mention whether she would be back for it or if we should pay at the host station. Since we didn't see her again, and we still had a long drive ahead of us, we went to the host station to pay. We had noticed that there was a 3% "Service Charge" on our bill, and a disclaimer printed on the bill stating that the service charge was the property of Green Mill, and not our server. We asked the manager, who was at the host station, about it, and he explained that it was because of rising costs. Well, if your costs are rising, change the prices on your menu. Don't add a "Service Charge." When I see a "Service Charge" on my bill, I interpret that as a tip, and I will decrease the tip that I leave by that amount. I don't care that you printed your disclaimer on my bill, you can explain to your servers why their tips have decreased. Adding a surcharge, or service charge as you call it, is the lazy way around changing your prices and printing new menus to reflect those price changes.
