Walked in the door and was greeted almost immediately by a friendly staff member who asked what my children would be interested in and offered up some of her own suggestions, even leading me to those departments inside the store. Wide variety of decently made toys - not the plastic crap that Target and Toys R Us sells. Staff was very friendly and offered FREE gift wrapping. There's even a "birthday club" for kids. An excellent addition to Broomfield and one we should all support! The staff and selection are what makes this a true 5 * selection. Plenty of parking and close to the RTD stop at Flatiron. It should have been an easy $100 sale for the store, they said they had to have a list sent in online, which is reasonable, I asked if I sent them a list now could they have if before close. Again, this was 6 cards in two hours. there were 4 staff present and no customers at the counter. 3 of the staff were leaning and scrolling on their phones. I was told "No" I took that list of cards to another local shop and happily gave them the $100. I also had the cards pulled in 15 minutes. A lot of the toys here are from the 70s-90s but they have some older and newer stuff too. Many are used, some new and they do have some collectibles. It's a pretty tight space completely packed with stuff so it can take awhile to look through everything, but isn't that part of the fun? The staff are super nice and knowledgeable and just ask that you don't manhandle everything because there's some old stuff there they don't want dirtied or broken which is a no brainer. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance to help with that. We had a fun time reliving some of our youth and I saw toys there I hadn't thought about since I was in elementary school.
