When my grandson liked WW2 planes the person (I don't want to say salesman since there was absolutely no pressure or upselling) explained the different types of planes. The question was answered right away without having to be transferred to another person. So very helpful in that store. I am simply a collector with my 7 year old daughter and this place is not suited for that. I came to the hobby shop for that so it wasn't like shopping on eBay. The kid at the counter was very friendly and clearly willing to work out deals on higher end stuff and again, may create a great experience with someone in the business of cards, but if my kid wasn't getting anything, I wasn't either.
