I'm not one of the adults who still collects, but now my girls are all in... and I'm along for the ride! From the moment we walked in, they were welcomed with so much kindness. I didn't catch her name -- she wore glasses -- but she was incredibly sweet to my girls and even gifted them each a Pokémon Trainer Box. It absolutely made their day. They haven't stopped talking about building decks since. They spent the rest of our visit carefully picking out their favorite cards from the mixed singles boxes -- Jigglypuff and Pancham were top picks -- and wide-eyed staring at some of the wildly priced cards (definitely made me wish I'd held onto mine from back in the day!). Here's hoping their new Pokémon passion doesn't completely drain my wallet... but this shop made 2/22 a day they won't forget.
