When I initially purchased my car, the salesperson (Danny) was very helpful and courteous. I was very happy with my purchase and the attention i received. Even though the car's gas tank was almost empty when I drove it off the lot, the manager told me they would fill up my gas tank when I took it back for the first oil change. At the time of the first oil change, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, and I had to argue with them in order to get a simple tank of gas that was rightfully mine. Secondly, I paid my car loan off after 2 and a half years and up until that point there had been no other mishaps with Brickell Honda. After paying off my car, I received a letter in the mail from Honda Financial Services stating that I was entitled to a refund for the unused portion of my GAP insurance (approximately 2 and a half years). At this point I went to my dealer (Brickell Honda) and filled out a GAP Cancellation Form, which the dealer never sent to Honda Financial Services, and therefore was never processed. I called back every 2 weeks and even showed up there in two different occasions to ask about the status and they would tell me not to worry about it that it was in the mail. After nearly 6 months, I decided to contact Honda Financial Services directly and I found out Brickell Honda had never made contact with them and they had not submitted my claim. Because of that, I lost a portion of my GAP insurance. The person at Honda Financial Services even said "Yeah, Brickell Honda dropped the ball, again." Dear all 1 star reviews.. and claiming any good review is a fake..(that always makes me laugh) I'm confused? I had to check the business card to make sure the address was correct and this was the right place. I was looking for a new car, well, a new car in particular.. Brickell Honda just happened to have it! Thanks to Oscar!! He works in sales and worked with me over the phone and through emails, filling out paper work and such. He actually is the only reason I found the car through facebook! (Thank you by the way..) He was so friendly and I will admit I'm a bit of a pain in the butt.. but he made my whole freakin....day month year (However long until I forget about my super bad ass car)...experience better!. He knew I was coming to look at it.. and there it was waiting for me.. under a tent, washed..shiny.. beautiful.. staring at me... I was sold upon entering..He then had me meet with Jose B.(per business card) Who was just as friendly as he was! They made all of that horrible car buying.. waiting.. sitting..paperwork,...experience great! Which by the way.. This is my 3rd car.. and that whole "4 hours of paperwork".. it wasn't like that here. I left and ate.. got paperwork, brought it back.. they didn't try to push it.. But I honestly honestly honestly.. love my car... and getting it wasn't some crazy stressful car buying situation. Service is everything to me, and here it was perfect... So thank you guys! If I could give zero stars I would...rude, discourteous, bad transfer numbers, Brickell Honda...10+ minutes on hold transferred to full voicemails, incorrect referral numbers, and irritated receptionist had me demanding to speak to first a manager and then anyone. It was so bad that it seemed the receptionist deliberately directly to wrong numbers. It was Saturday mid afternoon and a tow truck was on the way I needed information quickly. I arrived at Brickell Honda on November 27, 2007 and test-drove a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L. I loved the car and sat down to talk about my options and "talk numbers". I explained that I was looking for payments of no more than $400.00 a month and since the advertisement stated that the model I wanted (EX-L) was reduced to 24,155.00 and I had calculated the payments on the website to be under $400.00 a month. Lionel began doing his "number thing" on the computer and told me that I would be paying around $390.00 or so. He asked me to run my credit and got all my income information. Before he began I told him that I would only allow him to run my credit if the payments were the ones that he stated. He then told me "for sure those will be the payments, everything will be alright", so I gave him the okay. He asked me if my mother could co-sign for me and once more, like a broken record I began to repeat that we would only allow our credit to be run if the payments were less then $400.00. He assured me about his "numbers" and I agreed. The following day, I was called to come in to the dealer because there was "great" news for me and that I had been approved. I got to the dealer excited to sign the papers and take my new car. When I sat down with the finance guy, to my BIG SURPRISE the "numbers" thrown at me were $430.00 a month plus tax! I was completely shocked and couldn't believe what I was hearing. (I had and STILL have the e-mails confirming my conversations with this Lionel Malave) I went to this dealer with intentions of buying this car, not leasing and was told from the beginning that my payments would be affordable for me. I began arguing about this and suddenly as papers were being moved around I see an amount of $26,051.00 for the car!! I asked the finance guy what that amount was and he begins to tell me it's the price for the car!! I told him that the whole reason for why I even went to that dealer was because of the advertisement on the e-mail, and the "numbers" Lionel Malave gave me. The finance guy begins to laugh at me and tells me that all I was told was a LIE and the only reason those e-mails are sent out are to lure people to the dealer so they fall in love with the car and end up paying what they want. I was flabbergasted, shocked, and disgusted. I ended up speaking to 3 different people, one of them being the "manager" Randy Cano, who in my opinion is the last person on the planet to be "running" a dealer. Randy Cano, the "manager" is the biggest liar on the planet and not only is he a liar but he's a manipulator who tries to make the customer feel like he is "trying his best" to help them when in return he's stabbing them in the back. After my altercation with these three men I got up and left and told them there was no deal. The following day I receive a phone call from lovely Randy and was fed more crap that he worked around the "numbers" and that the "best he can do" is $430.00 a month including tax! I in turn let out all of my anger, and frustration towards him and let him know that I would not agree to any of that, that he was not only a snake, but a rat and that I would be letting channel 7 know about this false advertisement, scheming and disgusting way of doing business be known to everyone in Miami, then I hung up on him. Randy then gave me a call later and stated that he was very sorry for everything and the "best" he can do for me was $384.00 a month plus tax bringing my payment to $411.15 a month for a 48-month lease. I thought about it and was reluctant at first because of all the lies and run around I was given. I thought about it and finally told him that I would agree to the new payment amount. The tag situation was another drama; I had a temporary tag for about 2 months because it kept being delayed due to the papers being "misplaced". Let's be clear: if you're here, you're probably buying a Honda. Not a Benz. The type of five-star service, ass kissing, and general fawning that occurs at your luxury dealer isn't going to happen here. That being said, my dealer (Ray Gonzalez) was able to work magic. I was in the middle of a lease -- ah, parting is such sweet sorrow -- and in the market for a hybrid. I wouldn't say I got the most amazing deal I've ever scored at a dealership, and I wouldn't say I was sipping champagne while filling out my paperwork, but the staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. No one likes the process of buying a car, but I DO like driving away in the exact model I wanted at a price that isn't going to make me cry from a dealer I know was looking out for my best interest. Watch out for this place. Your car is likely to come out in worse shape than it went in. I brought my car in for some routine recall work and was told that they could offer me a good deal on a trade in, but that they'd have to check it out. They drove it off. When they returned, the trade-in they offered was nothing compared to what I could sell if for, and then I saw why, they had allowed a gate to come down on the hood, removing paint in several places. They denied they had done it, and now I have had to deal with their damage. read more

I've been taking my 2012 Honda Civic to them since I moved to Miami over a year ago. The service is good and timely. One issue - during my oil change they said I needed three items done: brake fluid flushed, coolant flushed and the induction cleaned. All three items only took one hour to do; however, they charge a flat rate of one hour for each item. So instead of charging me for one hour of labor for one hour worth of work, I was charged three hours. Rip off!! read more

Worst service ever! I went with the idea of getting a civic. The salesman was more obsessed to make me get a Buick than nothing! Each time I tried to go back to civic he was again being pushy with the Buick, really annoying! Then because I wanted a lease, a basic civic and had recently stablished credit he didn't made much effort, he left me waiting 4 hours in the office (while he was with other clients) and then told me that he was going to call me, 3 days without specific answers!!! I got mad, went to VW and got the car I wanted for the price I wanted! Now, I am enrolled in program in which basically has new 20 persons per year coming to Miami. No way I would recommend this place for getting a car! Now I understand why everybody told me to go straight to VW. read more

Based on my experience there last night, I think that these guys are either incompetent or crooks. Either way, I am not going back. I found an Accord that I liked, we agreed on a fair price, and I signed the buyer sheet. After we agreed on the deal, they had me sit there for about an hour while they were supposedly working on financing, getting the car ready, etc. Then, to my surprise, I was asked to go to the manager's office where I was told they had made a "mistake" and that they couldn't sell it to me for that price!!! They wanted to charge me over 10% more than what we'd just agreed on! I said no and walked out the door. The result of their nonsense was that they wasted my time (over 4 hours all told), lost a sale and lost a customer. I will never go back there. read more

All these people complain because they do not know how to handle dealer repair shop employees. Like anything in life you have to be prepared. I did not buy my Honda here. But i live in this area and a took my Honda to have the timing belt changed here. Usually you would change belt and water-pump. But I only wanted the belt changed because they were running a $140 belt and labor special and the water-pump on my car has a little plug and if that plug leaks then you have to change the pump, but if it doesn't you don't. So then... first of all I am a male and that alone is advantage in this place. Second I am mechanically inclined. First thing I told them was I want my old belt and receipt when i come to pickup the car or I wont pay. YES you can demand your old parts!!! First thing i did when i got the car was open the hood, in front of them and touch the motor to see if it was hot. It wasn't so I check to make sure the coolant was at the right level. And it was. This was over two years ago and i have not had any engine issues. I still have my receipt just in case. Always keep all your receipts. They gave me a list of allll the things wrong with my car. Its okay... it is there job to do so. I thanked them and through the recommendations away. They had the car ready the same day and they didn't force me to change my water pump which they could have. So I'd say i had a good experience there. read more

Decided to try this place out for an oil change of my 2004 Accord. It's close and I had a coupon that would mean $36 for the job. It was slow getting in (20 min.), and it took over an hour to perform (70 min.). They called to say it was ready and told me their tests had shown my battery needed to be replaced. AAA had replaced it for me roadside 18 months earlier. I said no thanks and went to pick it up. With the return came a receipt showing the multi-point vehicle inspection checklist with "Battery" marked as "Good" (out of "Good" and "Replace"). read more

A few months ago, I was helped by Hugo in the Service department, and he was kind, sincere, and got the servicing of my Honda Pilot taken care of quickly. Then yesterday I came to the Sales Office to see if I could get an estimate to have my car bought back. I know that for a Salesman, a query such as mine promises no perks, such as a commission; regardless, Mr. Raymond Trull, a Senior Sales Consultant, treated me as if I was the most important customer in the world. He went out of his way to get me an estimate, and was polite, benevolent, and just plain nice. I'm moving away, but I know I'll be back to Miami someday in the next few years, and when that day comes, I will return to Brickell Honda to buy my car. Not likely to buy a used car or take it for service ever again. I bought a supposedly "certified pre-owned" Honda Odyssey 2015 on September 2016. Two months latter I had to go back to the dealer because of a failure (strong vibration, not able to go past 40 miles with ease, FWC and LWD failure). The mechanics from the service department said it was the battery and they replaced it. Latter on January 2017 I had the same failure so I went to the dealer and that time they said it was moist in the computer connectors so they "fixed" the problem. Then at the beginning of May 2017 the same failure happened. This time the service mechanics said it was contaminated gas and it would cost me hundreds of dollars (not covered by the warranty). Could it be that this failure was originated by the previous owner and the dealer either did not performed a thorough inspection of the car before selling it to me, or they did know and kept the information for themselves? It is a mystery. I just wonder how is it possible that I had to go 3 times with the same failure and they where only capable to detect the real problem the third time. read more

DISHONEST!!!! Every time we took our well-kept 2004 Honda Accord for routine service, including just an oil change, there was always another charge to add, and we ended up paying 2-4 times more than what was originally expected. Further, when taking it for our last service, "coincidentally" after the routine service, the car started smoking, (never had this problem before), then they find that there is a hole in one of the hoses, dripping onto the engine. How coincidental. Then, after paying for the part to replace, they then say that it was cost an additional $300 to place it. I will never go here again! At first, we would give them the benefit of the doubt, but then, EVERY single time we took the car for service, even just routine oil changes, new charges were being added after your initial 2 hour wait time. I have purchased five Hondas over the past eight years from Emil Kasumov at Brickell Honda. Like most customers, I did my Internet shopping online to discover the invoice price and how much others paid for their Hondas or the lease terms. with some of these purchases, I went to Braman Honda on Bird Road first. The salesmanship at Braman Honda was comical, with opening lines such as "if I give you a good price are you ready to buy today?" Emil Kasumov is professional and the perfect anti-salesman. Show him your research and the best prices online, and he will always give you a better deal! He always beat the best offer obtained at Braman, and goes out of his way to thoroughly explain all of the cars features, has the car ready for pick up when promised, and goes the extra mile to make sure each customer is happy. He is the only sales person that I trust. I noticed there are many bad reviews of the service department which I have never used, mainly because they did not have a service department at Brickell Honda but use the service department across the street at Brickell GMC motors. If there was a recall or free service, I always took my car to Braman Honda and dealt with Ronny Herrera. For oil changes, tires and other mechanical work, I take all my cars to Leader Service on the corner of coral way and 17th Ave. Again, I cannot say enough good things about Emil Kasumov of Brickell Honda. read more

I've been going to Brickell Honda for years due to convenience but now i go because they actually are attentive and friendly. I will say though that I have had terribly mixed experiences but it seems like they are actually trying harder to earn their customers business. They seem as knowledgeable as can be expected (some of the service guys have more then others) but overall the new facility is clean easy to get in and out of and organized. Being able to setup an appointment at first was a bit frustrating since I would like to be able to just drop my car when I want but having used it it makes for a smooth experience due to them being aware you are coming. I hope they continue to improve and take the wide range of opinions on Yelp to heart. read more

Arriving at this crowded dealership was frustrating and difficult to find. No one greeted me and I entered into the new car building, as the used car building was off the horizon in a small building with steps leading up a glass metal door with a broken handle. I entered into what looked like a small office, asking for the used car manager (apparently everyone used that title). My salesman said to go look at the requested vehicle and he would be right outside. As we passed the cafe to go outside, our salesman was chatting away over Cuban coffee with a coworker. We waiting for 15 minutes looking at the car, the general manager had to get our salesman outside. Salesman said the Internet price was a CASH ONLY Non-negotiable price (which wasn't stated on the AD). The salesman had no more business cards left. He let me drive the vehicle alone with my friend and I gave him the keys to my trade in vehicle. Upon returning from the test drive, I say okay to the vehicle.. I PAID A $950 "Standard" Dealer fee for Car moving, Car Wash, and paper fees, Etc.. MY CAR WAS NOT WASHED AS PROMISED, MY GAS WAS NOT TOPPED OFF, and CAR CAME WITH LOW AIR PRESSURE.. They just wanted my money and business quickly and off the lot to make space.. I DO NOT recommend this dealer! read more

We have a 2012 Honda Odyssey and although we love Honda, this van has given issues. But with those issues we need service and the service here has been so personal and wonderful. We tried to troubleshoot a sound from a sliding door but they Couldn't find it, and our warranty expired. However a month later the door motor stopped working and they took care of the issue as if the car were still under warranty. Mr Diaz & Ishmael have helped us for the big issues and little stuff too. My lease on my Civic with Brickell Honda is up in about a month, after getting multiple calls and emails to come in to explore my options I decided to come in today with my boyfriend with an appointment that was arranged. Very disappointed with the lack of attention we received. They could of kept me as a repeat customer and had a possible new customer with my boyfriend but they completely lost me as it seemed as we were an inconvenience to the sales person. I told her that I wasn't going to make decision today on buying but just wanted numbers and estimates on an upgraded Civic model and Accord. She wasn't attentive to our questions and concerns about deciding to lease or buy. She was pulling numbers from directly from the Honda website (we could of done that at home). Her answers to our questions weren't consistent and she kept giving run arounds about the manager on duty being too busy to help and then claimed that there was a different manager that could only give her the final numbers and he wasn't going to be at the dealership until after 1pm (we were there at 11am). Why be open for business if a manager can't be able to give final numbers for a deal? I felt that she wasn't being completely honest with us. She promised me a call back to let me know when this manager was going to be around today. I don't live near this dealership anymore and drove over 60 miles one way to give them my loyalty. I stayed in the area 3 hours and grabbed lunch while waiting for the call back that I never received. Will return my Civic and do business somewhere else. read more
