I also really appreciated the communication beforehand, including letting me know which employee would be coming to my home. On the day of my appointment, Taro provided an estimated arrival time and arrived right around the timeframe I had requested. He was professional, friendly, and took the time to walk me through the entire process. He listened to my concerns about the mess my dogs had made of our living room carpet and made sure I knew that all of the products being used were safe for my dogs. When we were told that we might have white mildew and/or black mold in our attic, we knew that some…read morerestoration companies will "find" mold or mildew even if it's not there. Our search for an honest company led us to West Coast, and we hoped the reviews were true. The good news is, West Coast is as honest as it gets. Askia came out and looked around the attic while I watched from the ladder. First, he showed me that the supposed mildew was some sort of harmless sandy clay-ish material. And the supposed black mold was just "lumber mold", an industry term for "stain fungi"--the common dark streaks in lumber that originate at the sawmill or in the forest, don't weaken the lumber, and are not indications of moisture. Who knew? Well, Askia knew. And he actually spent time convincing me that we didn't need their services. So do I recommend them to you? You betcha! An honest company is a joy to find.
