Service: I got two rugs deep cleaned (pet stains and heavy foot traffic). 8x10 & 6x8. I called, was able to drop off the same day, got a quick tour of the facility including a description of their cleaning processes, and was able to pick up within a week. Very friendly, knowledgable, and professional staff. Quality: AMAZING!! I've used 2 other rug cleaning companies in San Diego and they pale in comparison! My rugs have little to no scent and the scent that is there is of brand new carpet. They feel and look brand new. Absolutely blown away by the work they did. Value: Very reasonable!! 5 & 10 years ago I paid nearly double for the same service and worse results from other companies. I'll be coming back to Rug Renew for as long as they are in business. read more

Very impressed. The rug had a very dark spot where my husband's bare feet rested most evenings. The couch upholstery is faded but still serviceable. Dave's expertise has given new life to these items and we can enjoy them for the future until I finde something I like enough to replace them. Steve was a fountain of useful knowledge when he delivered the clean cushions and rug. read more

I have nothing to say but WOW!!! The service was great. Dave was a delight to work with but even better, my two wool rugs are as clean as when I purchased them and they smell great too! The shop is a state of the art facility which is why they are able to get them so clean. You really have to see it to understand. I highly recommend them for any rug cleaning. Their prices are about average but the results are so much better then the other cleaners I have tried. read more

Wonderful job cleaning our sectional! Looks brand new and the our area rug was washed! Thank you again and see you in the future!

From start to finish top quality service! My rugs are beautiful and I am so grateful to the wonderful team at rug renew! The cost for cleaning my rugs was reasonable and I'm thankful for being able to keep my rugs rather than try and replace them with new rugs. Peace of mind! I highly recommend this service and the people working here really care about providing quality service! Thanks! read more

We had a plumbing leak that resulted in our very thick and heavy 17 x 13 rug needing a professional cleaning. I contacted several rug cleaning companies, but when I talked to Dave Nichols from Rug Renew, it was clear that he was the most knowledgeable about how to tackle the stains in the rug. His price was competitive and he offered a discount for military service. We watched the YouTube videos for Rug Renew and were confident the process used would not only clean our rug, but preserve it. We were not disappointed- in fact, we were very pleased with the outcome. We will be using Rug Renew to clean additional rugs in our home and we highly recommend Dave and Rug Renew to anyone who owns a rug needing a good cleaning. read more

Dave did an excellent job cleaning a very dirty but beautiful rug. A friend gave me the rug and I didn't know what fabric it was or how to clean it. I called around and several people recommended Dave, since the fabric looked to be delicate and the rug itself is a work of art. I brought the rug to Dave and he took great care to clean it safely and effectively. I honestly cannot believe how clean and beautiful it is now! I didn't have much hope for the rug because it was so stained and dirty but it came out gorgeous. It looks amazing in our home. We will definitely come back to Dave when it's time to clean it again. He's incredible, a true craftsman, and extremely friendly. read more

We have two room sized rugs that needed to be cleaned. I found Rug Renew on Yelp and then read up on their cleaning process. We took both rugs to Dave N. and he was extremely helpful. His interest and knowledge of rugs is amazing! He gave us a tour of the work area where the rugs are cleaned and dried. The cost was reasonable, considering the condition of the rugs (one unfortunately heavily stained with pet stains and had a horrible odor). We kept the cost down by delivering and picking up the rugs ourselves, as his shop is only a few miles from where we live. I highly recommend Rug Renew for rug cleaning services! read more

I called Rug Renew after a random Google search for a carpet cleaner. I was collecting quotes after learning my wool rug could not be treated by any regular machine, but required a more intensive cleaning process. Dave answered the phone and had the most friendly and welcoming energy. He spent the time explaining his process to me and educating me on the different cleaning methods. You can tell he is very passionate about his craft. Every other place I called was short, semi-rude, and didn't seem to value the customer relationship but seemed to be priced about the same. It was a no brainer to give Dave a call back and scheduled same day. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Dave went above and beyond to ensure my rug was cleaned in time for my event (ahead of the normal schedule). He even allowed me to watch the process after I told him about my obsession with watching rug cleaning videos on Instagram. I cannot say enough good things. Not only was my rug clean as a whistle at the end, the entire experience was a pleasant one. It was refreshing to meet a business owner who prioritizes customer service when I feel this has been a dying priority. Thank you Dave! I will be back and I'll send all my dog mom friends!! read more

Dave was so helpful with a rug we had bought in Morocco and shipped from Morocco. We hadn't had it cleaned since we bought it and it was about time to do so! We were extremely worried about getting it cleaned because it's one of a kind and so unique. Dave conducted several tests on the rugs dyes and structure before cleaning it to make sure he did it properly. When we got our Moroccan rug back, it was so full of life, more colorful and cleaned beautifully. Not only that, but such a great price for such a delicate piece. We will always go to rug renew to get our rugs cleaned. Thank you Dave! read more

Dave and Rug Renew were so helpful and made my rug look like new again. Had a large rug that over the years had collected soap residue from other cleanings. It felt not great and the color was dulled. Dave and his team at Rug Renew cleaned it and now it is soft and bright and they even put UV protectant on it as it sits in a sunny area of the house. I cannot thank them enough . Delivery and pickup was easy and prices were very fair. They could not have been more lovely to work with and I would definitely use them again. read more

Beautifully cleaned our several large throw rugs in a timely manner and they came out "like new" !

They did an excellent job on our area rug and couldn't be nicer to work with.

Simply the best. Dave runs an outstanding business and places as much emphasis on customer experience as he does on wonderful, thorough cleaning work. Picked up our rugs today and am so pleased with the result. Dave walked through ongoing care recommendations and thanked us for our business. I would leave 10 stars if I could, Rug Renew / Above & Beyond Carpet Care was that good! Their work is impeccable, their customer service is stellar, and it was an all around amazing experience! With 2 small kids, our rugs and couches were in desperate need of a little TLC. Alec and Dave went above and beyond to take care of 5 rugs, a giant sectional, and 2 side chairs. Everything seriously looks brand new! I am so happy with the company and service, would recommend to anybody looking to refresh their rugs, carpet, or furniture! read more

I have been putting off cleaning my wool carpets for sometime but after our dog passed away I felt it was time to give our carpets a professional cleaning. I did a google search and RugRenew was one of the service offerings. I chose RugRenew because of the many five star ratings. Dave and his crew came to my rescue. We came home from a difficult out of town trip on a holiday weekend to a horror show of a dog accident (don't ask about the pet sitter that let this happen). We literally had NO upholstered couch or chair in our house to sit on. Dave and his wonderful assistant Amanda came to pick up our cushions within 3 hours of my plea. They do a gentle foam treatment of upholstery, which is safer for most upholstery fabrics. Having used them before, I was confident that they could fix us up. In two days I picked up my cushions, and they were perfect. I really can't recommend Rug Renew more highly. Thanks! read more

Dave is very nice, professional and knowledgeable . The 80 year old Persian rug came out beautiful. Thank you Rug Renew!

I have had at least 7 beautiful, thick, EXPENSIVE rugs cleaned by Dave, who I call the King of Rugs. He is simply excellent at what he does-- he really knows what he's doing. It's hard to find a business owner who loves what he does, but Dave does and it shows! I highly recommend this business! read more

I found Rug Renew on Yelp and am so very glad that I did. Amanda was the first person I spoke to and she is a wonderful representative for the company. Dave came and moved the living room furniture and took the rug off for a good cleaning. When he brought the rug back it looked new. I will definitely use Rug Renew in the future to keep my rug clean. read more

I had a party and a guest ground meatballs into my ecru and blue Chinese carpet. After trying to clean it unsuccessfully myself, I called Rug Renew to renovate it. Dave hand washed it, as well as my Persian, Peruvian llama, and Moroccan rugs. They all looked like new when he returned them. And the beloved Chinese rug that my parents bought at Gump's in San Francisco years ago? After going through the Rug Renew process, the rug looked like new - lighter and brighter than I had ever seen it. (It had always had a yellowish cast to it due to age). Rug Renew has got to be the best carpet restoration business in town! read more
