On December 1, 2017 I visited Brickell Buick & GMC to purchase a 2016 Honda Civic, advertised with 26,202 miles at $16,550. When I arrived at the dealership to test-drive the car, I instantly fell in love with the look and feel of the car, but I was disappointed to discover that the car had over 31,000 miles on it (6,000 miles more than the advertised mileage). A sales manager later told me that he had been using the car to travel back and forth from home to work. I found this news devastating since the car has a 35,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and this unnecessary usage of the car would result in the car's warranty running out sooner than later. After speaking with the sales manager he supposedly took $250 off of the price of the car, which was tacked back on through other miscellaneous expenses. The out of door price of the car (with $2500 down) ended up exceeding $18,000. Additionally, this is the third time that I have purchased a Honda (the first two times from Sherwood Honda - with awesome experiences both times). The only thing that prompted me to visit Brickell Buick & GMC instead of going back to Sherwood Honda was the supposedly "low mileage" on the car, and the price of the car. Each time I have purchased a Honda (from Sherwood Honda) I have received two keys with my car. This time with Brickell Buick & GMC I only received one key and not much effort was put in to locate my second key or to get me an additional key made. The fact that I never received a second key leaves me with an uneasy 'feeling, as I am not accustomed to this type of business practice from a reputable dealer. Although I am not completely happy with my experience with Brickell Buick & GMC, I am rating this experience positively, because the Sales Representative that I worked with, Michel Rodriguez provided me with excellent service. I was unhappy with the way the seats in the car looked so he ensured that the car received a full detail. The full detail of the car's interior made the seats look almost new. He also provided me with his cellphone number so that I could directly reach him with any questions and/or concerns I had with the car. I did mention the issue with the second key to Michel, but he was unable to locate it. I also received excellent service from the Finance Manager, Frank Infante. However, if you are someone who has an above average credit score I would suggest that you seek financing through your credit union or bank to ensure that you receive the best rate possible. I would also suggest that you are patient when making such a huge purchase and really shop around. About a week after I purchased this Honda Civic, I saw a certified and more upgraded version of the car (with significantly lower miles) at Miami Lakes Honda for the out of door price I paid for this Honda. Overall I love my car, but would have probably waited a little longer to fully weigh out my options. read more

They charged my credit card $2500 for a deal that didn't end up happening, and they were, of course, supposed to refund me in full. 5 weeks later, they didn't refund and they keep just playing games, transferring my calls to nowhere and not returning my calls. Sometimes they do pick up the phone and act surprised that I wasn't refunded yet. Just playing games... What a joke this place is! The first time I came here was to purchase a vehicle, I had a bad experience with a sales man so I went elsewhere to purchase my car. My next visit was to get an oil change. During that visit the same salesman who lost a sale due to his poor customer service scolded me about buying my car elsewhere and not from him..... EXCUSE YOU! My next five visits were to fix a defect that was preventing my trunk from opening. The first time they "fixed" the problem I went on my road trip, tried to get my luggage out of my trunk and no luck, it wouldn't open. I called to let them know, then brought the car back in when I got back in town. When I got here Arturo (the person who's assisted me each time) told me that "the way the warranty works" that since the truck opened when he tried it there was nothing they could do. And that he would have them look at it if I wanted but they will "most likely" say they same thing. Really? There's nothing you can do when you never FIXED the problem? (who gives an answer of no hope prior to an inspection?) So..... What had happened was they ordered and replaced the WRONG part. Indeed the part was under warranty but if it weren't and i had paid for them to fix the wrong thing I would have probably lost it! They ordered the new piece and now I'm here waiting for them to "fix" it again. What really pissed me off this visit and caused me to write this review before I calmed down was that I got here at 1:30 (my appointment time) was never greeted or acknowledged by anyone. I stood there literally 15 minutes before I approached someone. He said he would text Arturo and tell him I was here. Arturo knew I was here because he came to his desk while I was initially waiting AT HIS DESK and never acknowledged me. Two hours later I'm still in the waiting room and he has yet to come in here but my car has been taken to the back. Sooooooo your going to work on my car without me signing anything or you telling me anything??? I'm so done with this place! Hopefully they fix it this time because I called another dealership and they told me since this particular dealership ordered the piece they couldn't work on the car. While on a run today I was almost hit by one of your employees driving a black 4 door Maserati. I was heading East on 8th Street, and crossing SW 8th Ave. Prior to crossing the light for 8th ave had changed yellow. In the distance, approximately one block away your employee was accelerating in the vehicle. The front end of the vehicle was up, and the engine was loud, even from as far away as he was. The light had turned red, and I was crossing, continuing on with my run. I kept attention on the car, and noticed it was still accelerating. I stopped in the middle of the road, as your driver came to the red light, did not stop, and turned right onto 8th St. I watched as the driver pulled into the Brickell Motors area and I ran behind and followed. I asked several employees if one of their drivers had just returned with a Maserati and was directed to Mario R. Diaz. I was visibly upset, and angry. I had almost been hit by one of your employees. I was told the person possibly came from the used car lot. I walked over to your used car building and asked for an employee driving a Maserati with dealer tags. I was asked if it was black and four doors. I said yes, and then was told by the employee they don't know who I'm talking about. It's somewhat shocking they know the car, but not the employee that was tasked with driving it. Your employees in that building were not talking to me, nor willing to answer any questions. I left that building and started walking back towards 8th St to continue home. As I was walking towards the main GMC building the manager, Mr. Diaz came outside and provided his card for follow up. That's when the employee driving the car came to the building. I recognized the man from driving the car. He was that close to me in his vehicle when he almost hit me. I pointed him out to the manager, who said nothing. I confronted the driver saying he almost hit me and that he ran a red light. He started yelling back that he sped up and it was a yellow light. He continued to yell back at me. One of the most disrespectful things your employee did was to blow smoke in my face from his cigarette. I had to step back and swat the smoke out of my face. Again, your manager did nothing, and stood to the side not saying anything. I told everyone around the driver had accelerated at a high rate of speed from over a block from the light. Ran the light as it was red. Almost hit a pedestrian. The driver continued to argue that he did not run a red light, and that he had sped up because he saw the light was yellow and that it was still yellow as he went through. The arguing went nowhere and your management did nothing but stand off to the side and not say a word. I turned to the manager and told him his employee is an asshole and I decided to leave without the issue getting more heated or confrontational. Here are the main issues: Your employee was driving a car at a high rate of speed in a residential area. Your employee accelerated at a high rate of speed towards a light that was already yellow. Your employee admitted to racing forward for a yellow light. Florida state law says you are to come to a stop for a yellow unless you are already in the intersection. Your employee almost hit a pedestrian. Your employee did not yield to a pedestrian. Your employee ran a red light. Your employee blew smoke in my face. Your management took no action, nor intervened in any way. read more

Don't bring your car for service here. I brought my SUV for service, I have extended warranty that was purchased directly thru the dealer. The car needs repairs done and the service rep can't find the coverage in their system. I waited 3 hours for an oil change. I now need to bring the car back again once they update their system with the extended warranty information which was purchased Jan 2015. I won't bring or get a new car from this dealer again. My long search for a nice, affordable car led me to Brickell Motors. After talking with a sales rep named Rafael over the course of a week I found a day my father and I could finally go to Miami and check out the car. When we finished our hour and a half journey to Miami Rafael was nowhere to be found. "He left early because he felt sick." Odd but believable. We test drive the car and it's fine, besides rattling of the engine and a slight alignment problem. After being assured that they are taking it to be looked at we sit down with the finance guy named Ateef (or something along those lines), and he gave us the rough estimate, without the APR. Here's where the problem came in. We had given him all of the information he said that he was just waiting on the bank to get back with him. We waited for over forty-five minutes with no update whatsoever. So we gave "Ateef" our numbers and asked him to call us when he got the rest of the information for us to purchase the car. When we left we called Rafael who said that he WAS at the dealership when we came. About an hour after leaving we called the dealership back and the secretary says that "Ateef" was on the phone, but would call us back in about ten minutes. Ten minutes turned into thirty minutes which turned into an hour which turned into two hours. At that point I called Rafael who said that someone left a deposit on the vehicle, and that's why I had not been called back. Then this morning I was informed that the car has been sold. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ANY DEALER EVER. EXTREMELY SHADY AND DISHONEST. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE. I went into the dealership for a specific car I had found online. I spoke to 2 sales representatives, a sales manager, and the warreny specialist. Ultimately we agreed upon a price which the sales manager signed to and I told them I would be back on Monday to buy the car. The manager told me that the car had a lot of attention and if I wanted to be sure the car was still here on Monday I should leave a deposit. So I did. A $500 deposit that the sales manager signed and shook my hand and promised the car would be here on Monday when I came back to purchase it. Less than 5 hours later he sold the car without even giving me a courtesy call or opportunity to purchase it. Now simply wants to refund the deposit. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE DEPOSIT IF THEY WERE GOING TO SELL IT ANYWAYS? DO NOT GO HERE. Extremely shady and dishonest sales managers. read more

I dealt with this dealership when I found a good deal on a yukon on the internet. I called the dealership and we made a deal on me purchasing the vehicle. The dealership even found me a deal in shipping the car to me. So i had my funding up front with my credit union but the finance department insisted that I fill out a credit application because they could get me as good or better financing. They emailed me the application, printed it, filled it out, and faxed it back. I called a couple of hours later to ask why I haven't heard anything and they said they never got it. They said send it again to another fax number. I said I don't know and wanted to make sure my credit wasn't going to get run twice. I was told no no it won't get ran twice. We'll, it was run 3 times on my credit. Then I called several times to find out why the deal was taking so long and it took days to hear back from someone. When I finally here back from the Salesman Carlos I was told that the car was sold from under him and myself for no reason and he proceeded to tell me how angry he was about it. Not sure if this was the truth or he was just trying to act as if he really cared. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional dealership. I made the deal, sent my information, my social security number in, and had the agreed price and then was told we sold the car. How could you sell the car. Nobody could tell me. I assume they must have sold it for more money and decided to say screw this guy let's take more money. So several hits against my credit for the hard hits, bad service , and no vehicle out of it.
