Brick River Cider on Washington Ave aka lunch in a 130-year-old firehouse. Bring it on. What an ambiance. The place has all the exposed brick and history. I didn't come for cider. I came to eat! I am a rebel. I went rogue with the fried tofu flatbread. It was crispy and savory. Loved it! Exactly the mid-day rescue mission I needed. Fantastic service.

We LOVE Brick River! They are on the pubpass (bonus!) and also offer Groupon deals sometimes (yahoo!). The cider selection is top notch and the staff is always friendly. I don't think we've tried anything we haven't liked yet! Our seasonal favorite currently: caramel apple cider (DROOL.) Appreciate that they are family friendly and also cater to adults. There are games to borrow, and the bathrooms are clean. We always enjoy our visit here!

Started with a Ciderita. It tasted like a cider inspired margarita. Then we ordered shareables and we got the Cider Brined Wings, Spinach Dip and Garlic Parmesan Fries. The wings were good size and were crispy which I liked. The wings were seasoned well and have a little heat. The fries taste great with the garlic and Parmesan seasoning. The spinach dip was under season. The dip needed garlic and onion seasoning. We had excellent service from Nick our server. The restaurant has a fun vibe. There's plenty of street parking around the restaurant.

Had brunch and a cider. Food was decent but not as good as I had hoped. Potatoes were the best thing, eggs were so-so. Nice fruit bowl side. Cider was delicious and everyone had a different one and everyone liked them. Waitress was nice and efficient.

The service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed! I would go there again. I had the strawberry lemonade cider. Tasty!

I have Celiac Disease and I love gluten free cider. I also really like the cider style of Brick River Cider (especially cloudy home style). We decided to visit the physical location when we visited St. Louis. Unfortunately, I did not know that they don't allow dogs inside. We had our little chihuahua with us. We were told no dogs when we entered and I immediately went outside to sit on the open-air patio and let my boyfriend pick some ciders for a cider flight to drink outside. Unfortunately, when he asked what they had, the server just tacitly handed him a menu, not also telling him that he also had the option of including the many seasonal offerings up on the wall list. As a result, he did not pick the ciders that we wanted to try. I have to speak specifically about the rudeness of the server. I understand that dogs aren't allowed but there was not a reason to be rude. This was a special visit from out-of-town for my boyfriend and he ended up having a very negative experience. The server didn't engage with us whatsoever. When I went in later to buy some packs to take home, he was short with me. This isn't the level of service that I expect from a local craft business. We love your products and probably would have bought twice as much cider to go if you had been willing to speak to us about your ciders. Very disappointing.

I came with my friends here the other day and we had a great time! We wanted to try the different ciders so we each got a flight of 4 ciders. I tried the Honey Crisp, Sweet Lou's, Homestead Peach, and Strawberry Lemonade ciders. My favorites were the Honey Crisp and Homestead Peach but the other two were good too. I wasn't too hungry so I just had fries which I thought were addicting! My friends seemed to enjoy their entrees. The inside and outside of the restaurant is great with seating in both areas. Our server was amazing, he was attentive, funny, and caring - we saw him bring an umbrella out for a couple sitting in the rain with their dog! Such great service and I found out they have a rewards system too which you can sign up for in person when you receive the check. Excited to add another place to my Yelp collection of places I like in STL!

We decided to check this place out because it was on the 2024 pub pass, not knowing what to expect. It blew us away! The food was delicious and the variety of ciders boggles the mind! Our server was nice and hard working, and the brick building created a cool and modern ambiance.

We live in the area and are trying to make more of an effort to eat at local spots. We needed a date night and wanted a brewery feel, so we ended up here. We came in on a Sunday night and it was pretty dead. Maybe 2-3 groups. They had one guy working the bar and serving but it was fine since they weren't busy. We sat at the bar and got fantastic service all night including great conversation. It's really cool to see straight back into their production room. We got two flights so we're able to try almost everything on the menu - we were impressed. There's definitely two that we loved, but there's something for everyone: sweet, dry, tart, fruity, floral. They do a great job of having many different options. The food wasn't super fancy but it was fantastic. Fries, chicken sandwich, brisket Mac. We weren't unhappy with any of it, it was all great. We thought for sure we would have leftovers but it was so good we couldn't stop eating it haha! Great experience for us, we will definitely be back.

Super cool historic building at the end of Wash Ave near the soccer stadium. Small little patio and industrial lofty decor indoors. Huge cider menu, had a flight and a pumpkin spice drink with my husband. So delicious. They have sweet stuff and dry stuff, so every palate is covered. Also, they have a lot of gluten free options, which is nice. Bartender took such good care of us. Explained everything, remembered that we met her at a sampling earlier that week. Felt right at home! Absolutely will be back! Can't wait to try their brunch.

Stopped by to celebrate Downtown STL Restaurant Week. The unique addition for the week is $3.00 single and $5.00 double Smash Burgers! Absolutely fantastic! A side of fries is a must. This meal paired well with a cider. I enjoyed the Cornerstone and sipped on the Mission Mango which was a different approach, the mango with chiles. I must say it is a good spin to the cider. It is always a nice atmosphere eating in a former engine house!

I had a lovely evening at Brick River Cider during their annual Ciderfest. I enjoyed a flight of 4 ciders and selected the Homestead, Homestead peach, Honeycrisp apple, and Hopricot (a brand new cider option!). The Homestead peach was easily my favorite. It was sweet, crisp, and perfectly peachy. We enjoyed some live music for Ciderfest and sat outside on the patio. The patio had a really fun table soccer game to enjoy and the cidery garage door was open, so we could easily enjoy the live music playing inside. We did attempt to order several food dishes, but they were out of many food options after the busy day of Ciderfest. We ended up getting French fries which were not good at all. They were incredibly soggy and weren't salted. We also tried the champignon flatbread, substituted with tomatoes instead of mushrooms because they were all out. The flatbread was also disappointing. I'm giving a 4 star review because of the lovely atmosphere and delicious cider flight I got at Brick River. However, I probably would not order food if I went again!

A nice place in downtown STL to try a variety of ciders. It has an industrial feel , but very welcoming. When we stopped in they have a special buy one flight get one free, a great deal. They offer a variety of ciders, apple, peach and blueberry. The apple was crisp and the peach was sweet. They do offer food items. There are board games available .

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.

I'm a huge fried chicken fan and I've been to them all - Porter's, King Edwards, Hodaks, Kentucky Fried, Churchs, Gallagher's across the river. Every time I visit a new area, I look for the used book stores and the chicken restaurants. The pieces here at the St. Louis Room are huge and meaty. Perfectly done and juicy - I have never gotten an over- or underdone piece. The skin is crispy and crackly. Not much seasoning at all, so you can taste the chicken. The restaurant is on the 6th Floor and it is an all-you-can-eat buffet, but you can also get the chicken plated in the 2nd floor restaurant. Along with the fried chicken are two surprisingly good and large buffet tables. On the hot foods buffet: mashed potatoes (instant - ugh! - substitute a yummy baked potato instead, found on the end of the buffet), a creamy gravy with a touch of what tastes like nutmeg (weird, but it *works*), two soups (their famous French onion soup is also available - request it from your waitress), spaghetti, cornbread and greens. Also on the hot foods buffet is a taco / baked potato bar. On the salad buffet is a wide assortment of fresh veggies to help you compensate for your guilt in overeating that fried chicken! There's a small selection of desserts, and you can request their fabulous bread pudding from the waitress - it tastes exactly like my great-grandma used to make back in the day. Service is always good and extremely friendly. Most of the waitresses have been there for *years* - I always sat in the wait area of Ms. Mildred for 20+ years, until she passed away recently, and you'll often see people waiting for a table to be cleared in "their" waitress's area. There are two lines for checking out - one line takes cash or credit, the other line takes cash only. I recommend you bring cash to get out quicker because the credit line takes much longer. Everything is available for take-out as well. My only complaint is that they sometimes temporarily run out of chicken due to the high volume of customers. It only takes a couple of minutes before they bring out fresh trays, and then you'll see the waiting crowd fall on them like starving birdies on a winter's day will fall on bread crumbs. The cost for this never-ending feast of fabulous fried chicken is $9.00: drink, dessert and tax included.
