Project: Water Heater Installation…read more Alex was professional, arrived on time, extremely experienced and polite. He was scheduled for a repair on various items relating to gas. After the diagnosis, he made a few recommendations ... not an upsale but a requirement due to the age of the unit. Ultimately, a new water heater was installed plus other items. The project was completed in a timely manner. They cleaned up nice and hauled away everything. After a few months, the inspector reported the water heater was manufactured in 2005 and hence, out of warranty. I contacted Alex and he responded. It turned out the inspector made an error which resulted with incorrect information. The unit was manufactured in 2025. This goes to show you Alex will not ghost you after the work was installed and invoice was fully paid. He will help you with whatever you need after the work has been done and paid for. That says a lot about the business and its integrity. Character counts! I highly recommend Alex! You be glad you did!

Since I moved into Pearland 10 years ago, I've been using Big John's plumbing on the rare occasion…read morethat there's something I can't fix. And they have always been fantastic. Previously I have used them for clogged pipes. This time I had them come out to help with the sprinkler valve in the new home. It was non-emergent, so they were able to schedule me within 3 days. The kicker was that I didn't even have to be home for them to be able to get the work done since everything was outside. They were fine, just coming in doing it and paying online. It was quick, easy and not intrusive at all on my schedule. They have always been super nice, very professional, very courteous and very efficient. Highly recommend!!!!

That said, the final price felt quite high for the scope of work. We supplied the faucet, and the total came to $525 for time and basic drain/AC drain parts. There was no clear estimate or flat-rate pricing discussed beforehand, so the final bill was a surprise for what seemed like a straightforward job. Quality of work was fine, but I would strongly recommend getting a detailed estimate upfront to avoid sticker shock.

OUTSTANDING!!! OUTSTANDING!!!…read moreSuper Satisfied with Fair Price Plumbing Tx. I posted a request on Yelp for a plumber to replace the wax ring in one of my toilets early on a Sunday morning. This request was AFTER my other plumber of several yrs did not come out to do the work on Friday or Sat. The Owner of Fair Price Plumbing TX named Dennis was the 1st business to reply to my request. He quoted a fair price (lower than my other plumber) AND was available the same day. What a Blessing!!!! I booked Dennis and he arrived 10 mins early, dressed professionally in uniform, very cordial and he even put shoe covers on over his work boots to protect my floors. He went straight to work and was done in no time flat. He took a picture of the old wax ring to show me where the awful smell was "probably" coming from. My toilet did not sit flush to the floor so Dennis added skims to shore it up so it was stable and secure. Who knew!?! WOW. From beginning to end, I was impressed with this plumber and will contact Dennis for all my future plumbing needs and I suggest you do too. He is a Master Plumber which means he can repair just about anything plumbing related. He is a Keeper! Thank you Dennis! Well done!

We were not able to go up into the attic due to our age to see for ourselves how bad it was. Called Alliance and explained the situation. Kelly came over within a few hours, took photos, exactly explained the situation, told us our options, ordered a new water heater and set us up to have it installed on Monday. Kelly and Alfredo arrived on time on Monday, installed the new water heater, took photos and cleaned up. The quick turnaround possibly saved us from having a leak through our ceiling. We are long time customers of Alliance and have always been happy with their service and the friendliness of their staff. We would give Alliance an A+ rating and recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. Ray & Mary French - Brook Forest Drive, Clear Lake

Negative company experience!! Do not use this company is you want a professional, quality job!…read more We used this company last year to install a garbage disposal. Since then it has been leaking. We had to call them out 2 weeks after the initial service was completed. Today I called another plumber because the sink was still leaking. The same guy (short, skinny, white guy with tattoos and big hole ear piercings) came out and showed us pictures of the job that he did last year and tried to argue me down about what happened to the screws that are somehow missing. He was extremely combative, argumentative and looked demented. He kept talking about the pictures from last year and asking me what happened to the screws, so I pulled out my phone to record him and he left! Be ware! If you don't want to have to get someone to correct their sloppy work, do not use them!

While YouTube can be a great resource, there are definitely some things that only come with experience and knowing the tricks of the trade. Christian (Epic Plumber) quickly identified what needed to be done, installed the new faucet correctly, and even verified the repair by using the access panel behind the tub to ensure there were absolutely no leaks inside the wall. That extra step gave me real peace of mind that the job was done right the first time. He was professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. One thing I especially appreciated was that he put on boot covers before coming inside. I don't allow outside shoes on the upstairs carpet, and without me even having to ask, he took the initiative to protect my home. It's becoming harder to find contractors who genuinely care about doing quality work and treating a customer's home with respect. Epic exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to anyone needing plumbing repairs.
