Sense he has sold out and moved on this place has changed drastically. The last time I was there the selection of cigars wasn't that good. It seems like they have gone back to their Daddy Dukes Cigar ways and only bring in what the owner likes or what their members like. That's fine but to stay competitive with the other businesses you need to bring in what they bring in and compete that way. I'm sorry 113 Club but the Little Cigar Shop has stepped up their game and has out classed you by miles. The Little cigar shop offers a larger selection of cigars and does more not only with their members but non members as well. Maybe if you opened up your restaurant and bar that just seem to be wasted unused space, you might be able to up your game and compete. The little cigar shop sits within a 1 to 3 minute walk from 6 restaurants. You on the other hand stay isolated on Grant street and don't seem to put out an effort to draw any attention to yourself for new customers. So if you're looking for a poor selection of cigars and want to be away from everything else then the 113 Club is for you.

We came around 11:30am on a Wednesday. You could reserve a pool table for $7/hour. We ordered food so they let us play for free. The menu was of type sandwich, appetizer, drinks. The food was pretty good. A lot better than what I expected. There is about 23 pool tables here. The place was huge. Nobody was playing or eating when we arrived. It was very cool. I apologize I forgot to get a photo of the place. I wanted to. As for food I got the cuban sliders with onion rings. The rings were like a beer-battered frozen ring but tasted good and were cooked well with a nice crunch. The sandwiches were tasty. They cost more than $11. I cannot remember exactly how much. I'll probably try what my friend got next time. His BBQ nachos were huge. They looked delicious. They were also cheaper than my sliders at about $10.50. We both got a bottle of Dasani water. No fountain drinks available. We'll be back for lunch again soon.

He has put a lot of time and effort in making this the best cigar business in Decatur. He has made leaps and bounds with changes and growth in this little place that many call home. Yes I said home because that's the feeling you get when you're there. Jason and his staff are very knowledgeable with the cigars that they carry, not to mention the current members that are always friendly and willing to have conversations with you and tell you about the cigars they smoke and enjoy on a regular basis. Jason offers and small but very nice selection of wines as well and his new line of tobacco pipes with tobacco and accessories. Jason is also actively involved in the downtown community with being the founder of the new Second Friday that replaced Decatur's defunked third Friday. Jason is now in the process of adding something else to his shoppe to make it that much better. If you're in Decatur from out of town on business and want to enjoy a really good cigar this is the place to be. The Little Cigar Shoppe is a 2 to 3 minute walking distance of 5 restaurants, or a 5 minute drive to downtown Bank Street to three restaurants. So if you're in town for business, pleasure or just stopping overnight on your journey to somewhere else stop on in and pick yourself up a great stick and see what I'm talking about.
