It's a bit of a drive for me coming from downtown SLC to Lehi, but it's so worth it. One of the only studios that have aerial type classes and they're always fun to take. It really helps with my balance; flexibility; and strength, but most importantly, stress relief. The staffs at the front entrance are always friendly and welcoming. The studio and building are clean. Plenty of parking in the lot. They sell cute stuff around the check-in area. I can't wait to come back and swing around in the hammock! read more

Is it a salon? Is it a gym? Is it a cafe? Is it an event venue? YES! It's all of the above. Brick Canvas is a lovely little eclectic building that does many things. I visited the salon to get my hair done, but while I was there, I took a few minutes to walk around the garden area outside. Granted, it's late fall/early winter, so the landscape was dormant, but I could tell that it is beautiful in the other seasons. Along with the salon and garden, I noticed event rooms/meeting spaces that could be used for wedding, corporate gatherings or other small to medium events. (There may be other spaces for larger events that I just did not come across.) There is ample parking, and GPS brought me right here, even though it is tucked away a little bit. Good signage helped too. I can't wait to come back and see what this place looks like in the spring. Anyone getting married that wants to send me an invite?? read more

I was impressed with the entrance when I walked in. The mahogany stairway and white walls. I did learn Brick Canvas is in not the front desk but you need to walk past the front desk to get to the front desk for brick canvas. I have gone to the spin classes several times. The room is not huge but still has enough bikes and you're not super close to the person next to you. I like that the instructors turn off the light and turn the fans on while you bike. Each instructor teaches differently and takes you on different rides each time. Some teachers focus on speed and distance and other focus on strength and endurance. One thing to know when attending the classes is that they like you to book the class in advance so they can ensure enough people have bikes. read more

I was so excited to check this place out. I drove 40 minutes from salt lake. I went to the Hot Barre class. I was so disappointed because it's not a true barre class! I can't even believe they are calling it barre. It is almost the same format as a yoga sculpt class at CorePower. I have trained under Lottie Burke from the London method and taught at barre studios in Kauai, Germany, Scal. Barre is very specific movements and small movements. There were no barre movements in the class at all. I was so sad. There wasn't even a ballet barre !! It is a beautiful facility and the staff was really nice. But when I asked if they have real barre classes they really didn't know the difference. The class was ok but I was expecting a real barre class. It makes me sad that people in Utah think they are doing barre but they aren't. I just moved here and this shocked me. It's a trademark infringement. read more

I had a prenatal by Gabby today and it was phenomenal. I have extreme lower back pain and sciatica pain. Within seconds of her working one side I could tell a huge difference and walking out and sitting in my car I had so much relief. Her pressure was consistent, definitely firmer which I appreciate but also very relaxing. I can't thank her enough. I also need to mention the tables at the spa have little cut outs for pregnant mamas and the tables are adjustable so you're slightly elevated when you're on your back. I have been going to the fitness classes for two years and have had a great experience. The classes are semi-large and have a great energy about them. They take health and wellness seriously here and want everyone to do their best. The instructors are kind but will push you to work hard. Very clean facility and provide space to store your clothes and shower. I always felt welcomed and it was not as intimidating to go to a class as a first timer. I have felt intimidated going to different gyms to work out, but always felt welcomed due to the non judge mental environment here. read more

I love Brick Canvas!! They have incredible fitness classes. I particularly love their hot Pilates and hot yoga classes, but I've enjoyed their TRX, foam rolling, and cycling classes as well. Their facility is beautiful and clean and the staff is always so helpful! I've recently been going in for their spa more frequently and have had incredible experiences. My husband and I had a couples hot stone massage recently that we have told everyone we know about. The hot stones are well worth the upgrade!! I've seen several massage therapists and they have been extremely professional and helpful. I sent my dad in for a massage this Father's Day and he's been raving about them as well. I feel like I should feel dumb about the number of massage places I'm accumulating on here. haha but massages are the best. This place did an amazing job (I had Kelly), the massage itself was really good but there were also lots of extra nice bonuses that made it even better. - They give you a robe to change into, and it is legit the comfiest robe I've ever worn. Also slippers that were really comfy. - Free peanut butter filled pretzels and chocolate covered berries in the quiet room (i.e. waiting room- they're not putting you in time out here, don't worry.) - Used essential oils during the massage so it smelled amazing. - Heated towels and different toners for your skin also during the massage. Overall, I just liked that they had different elements to the massage, kept it interesting. Only downside was that it went too fast. ha I was so sad it was over. Also noisy upstairs. Don't go on Saturday night when weddings are likely going on upstairs because you will worry about the ceiling caving in from the dancing going on above. Not really but it does make it loud and less spa-like. Also I was disappointed in the selection of magazines they have in the waiting room. They were all about Botox and different procedures that I'm not interested in so I wish they would have had at least one fashion mag or something. (Yes, dumbest complaint ever but but still.) Horrible experience at the Spa. The scheduling is a joke, they don't return your calls and then charge you for services they didn't do. When I got ahold of the manager she agreed to refund me 50%. Why not 100%?, they didn't call me back after several messages. I received NO service, but I was still charged. Additionally April was extremally rude and snotty. I went to talk to her in person, as she hung up on me. She called police on me! Before I even spoke to her, she came to the desk and informed me she called the police. I was surprised as my demeanor was calm and mature. I was even holding my 2 year old daughter. I have never seen so unprofessionalism. read more

I wasn't overly impressed with my experience here. It was...fine. I saw Anna and was somewhat disappointed in my experience with her, but the salon was nice. I went in with a broad idea of what I wanted - I'm not picky. Just asked for something fresh and new to update my look. There weren't any color swatches so I could see what she was talking about; she kept pulling up pictures on her Pinterest page, but I can't see what that looks like in comparison with my own hair. With that situation in mind, I went with the safest option and just did the same color I had going in. It looks better and fresher, of course, but boring. I can barely tell that I got it done, except that the occasional grays are covered. I can't say that I would go back to the salon. read more

We stopped in to grab a couple breakfast sandwiches this morning. The cafe was great, food was scrumptious, and the woman working there was very friendly and sweet. Another woman was at the cafe counter as we were finishing up and greeted us and thanked us for coming in. I found it a little odd though that the two women at the front desk and another in the yoga shop didn't say a word or make eye contact. The yoga studio where I went to YTT and regularly train has an incredibly welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, so I admit to some bias. Such a relaxing spa! I work at a salon/spa so it's always fun to go into other ones. Brick Canvas is so nice and organized. It's located in Thanksgiving Point but with an easy in and out. I parked in the parking lot east of where Cornbellys is. I recently got a facial from Lou and loved it. You first start off going into the locker room and changing into a robe and then sit in the "quiet room". Lou got me after about 2 minutes of sitting in there and then took me back to my room. She asked my concerns and skin type. She then recommended things and I gave her full reign to do whatever she wanted. It was so nice and relaxing! My skin looked great after! I really recommend getting a facial here. Though they are a little pricey. read more

I'm from out of state and LOVE to try other studios, and hand selected Brick out of a few others I tried. I had tried a class that went wonderfully, in the most beautiful studio I had set foot in. The floors were so clean, when I tested my new pointe shoes, they didn't get dirty, I was ECSTATIC, went home, weighed my options and bought a pass. Most unfortunately my next class was had a negative experience. My next class, A teacher no showed, and a substitue teacher who looked like a tired stringy version of JVN very kindly stepped up on the fly and offered to teach. He proceeded to teach an entirely different class, which was misleading, especially when directly asked at the start if we were still going to keep to the class. He brightly lied and said we would, and then did some aerobics He let us know we could modify, which other students in the class did along with myself. After class he snarled at me over the counter that "this wasn't open barre", and said I was distracting during class (nothing mentioned during class to me or other students) 10 min later I was waiting for my next class on a bench and overheard the instructor and two front desk girls discussing me after they thought I left the building A blond Dameron said "I want to shoot myself in the head." Over the situation. I come from a history of gun violence and don't find that amusing. I want to believe that is not in alignment with or what the studio represents. I called the owner the next morning, where she told me that I was wrong (???) But that the staff said I was a talented dancer (please don't try to flatter me to get out of your staff lashing out) And was directly informed "we are not a professional studio, we are open to the general public" which is vague and frankly, unprofessional. I look for inclusive studios that align with my morals and ethics and did not find it here. Try Kairos if you're looking for something with less "Karen play pretend aerobics" and a more professional atmosphere. If you aren't of a specific demographic, they will not be welcoming to you. It's a beautiful studio, just please protect yourself from their classism & elitism. read more

I had the Spa Membership for 4 months & in that entire time I didn't get the membership discount on any of the other spa services I received (beyond my monthly one) & also never received the membership discount on the multiple times I purchased products (which they tell you is supposed to be 10% off). The Front Desk staff never once asked me what size I needed for sandals & a robe for the spa so I always had different sizes. You just have to ask me, it's really not that hard to use your big kid words. They're terrible at responding to emails. None of my massages or facials were really all that good either. read more

I was staying near Thanksgiving Point on a recent business trip and decided to see if I could get a massage and wax. I'm pretty picky about both, so I try not to expect too much when venturing out from my regular places, but I had nothing to fear - this place was amazing! First, I had a massage with Kristina. She asked about what spots were bothering me the most and never once asked what level of pressure I preferred. I know that seems like a down side, but every time someone asked me how much pressure I preferred (and I say firm, because generally, that's true), they end up brutally mashing on all my knots and leave me in even more pain for days. Kristina knew exactly what was tolerable and patiently worked out each of my knots until I could easily tolerate more pressure. She did such a great job, I ended up booking a second session just a couple days later, to make a little more progress before I went home. I really wished there was a way I could take her home with me! Alas, I'll have to settle for seeing her on my repeat visits to Lehi. Following my massage, I had a quick full leg and eyebrow wax. The eyebrow wax wasn't as gentle as some I've had before and left me a bit red and puffy even the next day, but the leg wax was quick and painless. I wasn't offered a hot towel or shea butter afterwards like at many places, but I wasn't sticky with leftover wax, either, so I didn't really need either. I would have given five stars if not for a few quirks - The bathroom is shared with a yoga studio, so you usually have company when changing in and out of your robe. There are nice lockers, though, and private shower/changing rooms, so it wasn't that bad. They also cover the tables for waxing with a thin sheet of plastic, which inevitably sticks to you and makes things a bit sweaty. Nothing major, but these few things detracted slightly from the overall experience. It's still quite high on my list of places to visit next time I'm back out that way!! read more

Bought a smokin' living social deal for Sage Leaf Spa and figured it would be a nice change from the typical, strip down in the room, no frills massage. The deal was for an hour massage and an hour facial. I've had quite a mixture of unique experiences with purchasing deals like this. The majority being very unfortunate. Not this time. Today, I am writing after 2 hours of being completely relaxed and well taken care of. The professionals were excellent at their craft. The facial included a lengthy scalp massage that was heavenly. Both treatments had an excellent usage of hot towels and essential oils. Having a quiet sitting room to relax in my robe was also that spa extra that we know and love. Everyone working at this facility was pleasant, helpful and very efficient. After such a fabulous experience, I would be happy to pay full price for their services. read more

We had a great experience, the massage was relaxing and the atmosphere was fantastic. The couples room was very well designed to create the right ambiance and our masseuses did a great job. The only downside, and the only thing that keeps me from giving a higher rating is the sales pitch that followed the massage for membership and doterra products. I just moved from CA and was very nervous about finding a new stylist to do natural looking highlights that would grow out with minimal maintenance. Andrew was absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend him enough. I stated what I wanted, he showed me some pictures, was very clear about the cost estimate, and it ended up better then I could have imagined. My wife and I had our wedding reception here using the services of The Loft at Brick Canvas. With the booking of their two rooms (which are upstairs) we were free to take pictures around the grounds and even back at the gardens if we wanted to. The grounds are very nice, the building is nice, and the rooms were more than adequate to hold a wedding reception. We used the bigger room for the reception itself and then the smaller room as a kid's area where there was a movie going. There is a small kitchen area that caterers can use, but just be aware that there is no refrigeration available on-site. We were able to make do with what we had requested from the caterer and providing a few things ourselves. The Loft provides tables, chairs, tablecloths, and a few signs to get people pointed in the right direction. There is a small bride's room available for use in between the two rooms upstairs. We used it to hang our clothes in and for my wife to do makeup and whatever else brides do. There is an elevator for anyone that wouldn't be able to use the stairs. There are multiple parking lots close by that can be used to get to Brick Canvas since the building is on Thanksgiving Point, but it's not owned by TP. The coordinating efforts of the staff were wonderful and everything basically went as planned. Cierra was awesome! Also, there were fireworks outside during our reception! read more

I usually go to the Kura Door Spa in Salt Lake for massages, but it's a little out of the way for me and I wanted something closer. I found Sage Leaf through a google search. I booked a 60 min. facial and massage package because if you get two services at once it's discounted! The spa is on the bottom level of the Brick Canvas building in Thanksgiving Point and shares space with the Bikram Yoga and Ballet West Academy studios. I went in the middle of the day so it was empty and quiet, but I could see how it might be a little less peaceful if you booked an appointment at the same time as one of the yoga or ballet classes as they share an entrance to the building and a changing area. The quiet room of the spa had a fireplace, health magazines to read, chocolate covered berries, spiced almonds, and water as well as a some kind of a oil humidifier/scent diffuser (I think it was a Doterra device). There wasn't any hot herbal tea, which is something I love about other waiting areas in spas, but besides that it was great. I had the renewal facial first. It was super relaxing and the aesthetician, Cathy, was so sweet and had a calming nature about her. She did a wonderful job and my skin was glowing for days afterwards. I also loved the eminence products used during the facial. The aesthetician gave me some recommendation of products I could use to maintain healthy skin and left a couple of samples at the desk for me to take home when I left. I really appreciated that because I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything but got to use the products at home and decide on my own time if I liked them. I did end up loving what she suggested and will be making a trip back to purchase one of them. My massage was also wonderful. I had Sophia as my massage therapist and she was great at asking about what I was looking for and areas to target. The massage includes complementary Doterra aromatherapy oils and one was used for the beginning (lavender) and another for the end to bring you out of the massage (citrus). She also used a moisturizing lotion by Eminence and the Doterra blue rub on the shoulder at the end. It smells like Tiger Balm and left a similar tingling feeling afterwards that was nice and warming. I only detracted a star for the lack of tea (just a personal preference), shared changing area, and lack of sauna (wet/dry) for relaxing afterwards. This is a great opportunity to take pictures! Senior pictures, bridals, and more! It has a beautiful garden area that has many photo ops. If you are a professional photographer they do require you pay a photo pass. Also, some of the perfect views are clouded by industrial buildings, so it can ruin some. This company has bad business practices. 1st they do not stick to a same day billing cycle. Each month they charge you 2-3 days earlier than the previous month. So you are never paying for an entire month in that sense or even 30 days for a matter of fact. Second off when i tried to cancel my membership they told me i couldn't do it over the phone or in person. I had to email the request. When they finally chose to read my email, they replied stating I'm already paid thru the next month so it won't expire until "this date". Which is stupid because i left the country for work and didnt return until the day before my membership expired so they made me pay for a month i wasn't even in the country. The instructors are nice but they have poor business practices and it makes me not want to sign up and return again. read more

I come here almost exclusively for massages. The prep/waiting room is quiet, dark, and relaxing, always with yummy finger foods. I've used a lot of the different therapists. They're all pretty good, and they have two men on staff, just in case the women aren't up to your deep tissue needs, which has never been a problem for me.
