I've been having difficulties with my high range and Brian has been extremely helpful in helping me fix my technique to begin getting my range back. Would definitely recommend. read more

What a fun and great teacher! I have been looking for a voice teacher for my son. I am glad we finally found Brian. He has wonderful teaching skills and style. After two sessions, I can see a big difference. My son has tried out many different vocal teachers, but none of them have been as attentive, precise, and technical as Brian. He explains singing with a good voice down to the simple mechanics of muscles and the vocal chords, and puts all of it in a way that is interesting and easy to follow. Thank you Brian!! read more

Brian is absolutely amazing! My daughter truly enjoyed her lesson with him and is ready to improve her vocal skills. Brian is very experienced and knowledgeable. He is able to break everything down for his students to easily understand. He is fully engaged and his techniques are unique and extremely effective. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to learn how to sing and/or enhance their vocal skills. read more

I have moved a lot in my life, and have been to a lot of voice teachers. Brian is educated and intuitive and just absolutely wonderful. He took my tired voice, and with a few tweaks, helped me tune my vocal chords to a cleaner, more energized sound. I'm so happy to have found Brian, and can't wait for our next lesson! read more

Brian is a kind, fun, patient and above all knowledgeable and passionate teacher. It doesn't matter what level you're at. I'm a complete beginner with zero musical background who just wants to sing better but I learned really neat stuff about my voice and how it works. Book a lesson with him --you won't regret it! read more

Mr Lin is really good at diagnosing the problems with the voice and helps fixing many mistakes and improve sound. Highly recommended!

I have gone to two sessions with Brian and both have been excellent. Each time I find myself learning more about my voice. I think my biggest issues have to do with confidence and Brian does a great job at helping me to see the importance of fighting through my fears to sing for my audience. He is very focused and very encouraging! read more

I am an actress & speaker. Frequently I get to use my voice to sing and speak and tell amazing stories. In 2011 I was diagnosed with vocal nodules. Brian is a phenomenal voice coach.Truly one of the best in the business. I came in with a very very hoarse voice after years & years of vocal nodules / voice loss flair ups, throat pain, tightness in my jaws and neck. I had no real connection with my breathe or what was going on with my vocal cords! And after the past couple years and being in works environments like Forever 21 s corporate office I had grown accustomed to overusing my voice & managing whatever voice I could produce. Brian not only has helped me to see that my voice can be healed to do some pretty amazing things but He has also shown me that proper education and understanding of the Voice can help alleviate alot of pain & build confidence in using your voice in the way it was created to be used. I love how patient he is & how he customizes each session for where you are right now as well as encourages you to explore new ranges and ways to use your diaphragm and voice box to produce voice from the right place. He has excellent equipment and it's great to hear yourself back and see where you are in relation to notes on the piano or your favorite song or even where you were when you first started! Recently we've been exploring allergies, sinuses post nasal drip & how nodules & polyps are inflammatory responses to the body so when your body feels it's under attack it goes through inflammatory responses. When you have excessive mucus on your vocal cords & constantly clear your throat that is also no help to protecting your voice. It's super cool to have a teacher who is so knowledgeable about the voice and takes the time to help you really grow and develop. I absolutely love working with Brian and am excited to hear this side of my voice I always knew was there but could never quite find the right doctor, ENT or Speech therapist to help me get here. Brian it has been so incredible working with you!!!! Thank you for encouraging my faith to believe I could have a voice again! read more

Brian did an amazing job making my two 10yr olds feel welcomed and worked extremely well with them, they can't wait to go back!

This was my first lesson with Brian, and it was extremely informative. I doubt I will retain all of the info he gave me over the lesson, but at least now I have a grasp of my own voice and what it's doing. I had a lesson when I was younger with a classical music teacher and it did no good. The scientific approach Brian has to teaching singing is beneficial for people who are complete beginners (such as myself), because he tells you how and why your voice is doing the things it's doing. I look forward to how my voice will progress under his instruction. read more

Brian is awesome! In just two sessions I can see the things I'm doing wrong when I sing. I'm extremely excited about my journey to my optimum singing voice with Brian. I'm confident Brian will get me there. I'm very grateful to have him as my teacher. Brian is very nice, patient, and knowledgeable. He takes his time to explain the techniques needed to sing nice and bright! Looking forward to more sessions!! I'm slowly gaining my confidence as well and that's very huge for me. I can see my shyness fading away... don't hesitate, Brian is the one! read more

Brian helped me visualize my voice from an anatomical perspective that I've never been able to imagine before. Not only did I walk out of the lesson more knowledgeable about the science behind singing, but my range felts stronger than ever! Definitely continuing with him until my performance in September! read more

Woah, didn't know my voice could do that! Lesson was awesome I was very terrified walking up not knowing what to expect for my first voice lesson and nervous to sing but Brian made me feel very comfortable. He's very informative, learned so much in just an hour. Gonna be back in two days! My nerves are calmed and I'm excited to see what My voice can do:) read more

This was my first time getting vocal training and I already have seen a lot of improvement in my voice! Brian is so patient and encouraging and it help me gain my confidence in singing. read more

I had absolutely 0 singing experience prior to working with Brian. In our first session, Brian has you come prepared with a song to sing -- needless to say I completely butchered it! Brian will then work with you while explaining the deeper mechanics of how the voice works, and also explains to you some of your immediate weaknesses. Since then I've worked with Brian 2x a week and it's been one of the most fun experiences I've had. Singing is a long journey that takes a lot of work, but even for someone like me who can barely sing happy birthday to now working on some juicy Usher songs -- it speaks a lot about Brian's ability to train even the worst of worst singers! read more

It was my first time to have voice lessons. Brian is an excellent, experienced, and passionate vocal teacher! Right after he observed how I sang, he immediately pointed at the issue. In my case, it was an "efficiency" problem. His assessment I felt was so accurate. We worked toward improving my vocal efficiency. I felt an improvement just in my first session. I definitely recommend him for all those who aspire to improve their vocal skills! Thank you Brian! read more

Brian is FANTASTIC!!! He teaches you all the ins and outs of singing. I have never understood singing like I do now after going to him. He is super comfortable to work with. I went in terrified and he has great encouragement and pushes you just enough! I have going to him for over a year now and am so thankful. Your won't be disappointed definitely use Brian! read more

Seriously the best vocal teacher you're going to find. Brian has a clear understanding of how the body needs to work to get the best tone, and he is excellent at conveying this to his pupils. I am amazed at the progress I have made. I'm going to start lessons for my daughter as well. You can't go wrong with Brian. He's a very pleasant guy to work with as well. This keeps the stress level non-existent during lessons. read more

I've had a couple vocal lessons before but do I have to say Brian really knows what he's doing. In the past lessons, what I learned from the coaches are fundamental and they tried to teach me how to sing in their own style. However, Brian helped me sing in my own style and knows how I could sing to achieve better sounds. His knowledge of anatomy helped me visualize how my vocal cord works and made everything easier. He's also the nicest coach I've ever met, easy-going and great sense of humor. I enjoyed every lesson with him. Not only does he have a profound knowledge of vocal coaching but he also knows a lot about music theory! Since then I've been training with him for a year, and I feel like I have improved immensely. With all the things I learned from him, I could adjust my voice when I'm practicing by myself. Thank you so much Brian! You're the best. read more

Had a wonderful first session with Brian. I liked that Brian took time to get me where I needed to be with so much patience. I felt so comfortable going through all the exercises, and came out understanding more about my voice. I am very excited to continue to work with Brian that I booked me next session. Let the journey begin! read more

I have learned from Brian more than I've ever known in my entire life about singing within minutes of our first lesson. This guy is knowledgeable, professional, passionate, and truly has the best interest of his clients in mind. Highly recommended. read more

Brian is a great vocal teacher. Before I started taking voice lessons from him I almost completely believed I could never learn to sing high notes. For a while I believed it was impossible. Although, just after a few lessons with Brian he helped me discover places I thought my voice could never reach. I definitely do not regret any of the sessions because he has helped me improve my singing tremendously! Brian is so passionate about his job he gets pretty technical. He goes in great detail and in scientific detail too if he has to. Not only does he have great knowledge in vocals but he is also a fun, easy-going character. I highly recommend him! read more

Great teacher. Super knowledgeable. I only had one lesson with him, but you best believe I'll be back for more! :)

I have been a singer in different ensembles and choirs and pop/ rock bands over the years and it is very apparent how Brian takes a very effective style in teaching when compared to others. The exercises and solutions he gives cuts right into the cause of vocal problems, directly addressing certain parts of my voice which immediately makes vocal production much more healthy, and the quality of tone much better. Looking forward to working with him in the future and definitely recommend to anyone with any experience or vocal issues. He is indeed very knowledgeable and a good voice teacher. read more

Easiest review ever !! Brian made me feel very comfortable as soon as I walked in. He is really invested in making you a better singer and really cares about giving you the proper tools to understand your voice. His studio is very comfortable and easy to get to. I can't wait to continue lessons with him because I know I am only going to improve. He is extremely knowledgeable and offers a different perspective and approach to singing ! read more

Brian is a great vocal coach and instructor! He explains things very well and is very patient. I highly recommend his services.

Just finished my introductory vocal lesson with Brian, and I left smiling from ear to ear. It's been a long time since I've had so much fun and pure singing enjoyment! Brian is professional, engaging, patient, and encouraging. He took time to explain how the voice works anatomically and physiologically, and what to do differently to produce various sounds. He also took time to find out what my likes and goals are musically. This was my first professional vocal lesson, and Brian made me feel like there's a whole world of knowledge and improvement just waiting to be unlocked. He made me feel excited to sing again! :) read more

Brian is simply amazing! After one lesson he has expanded my knowledge of all things voice related and given me techniques to begin increasing the power and stability. Looking forward to the next lesson! read more

My first singing lesson ever. It was a 2 person Lesson and I love the way Brian explained to us our bodies and how as instruments we work. It even showed when he specifically did different exercises with each of us depending on what we needed. And the effects were immediate in the change you felt. Excited for the next one! read more

I just had my introductory session and I loved it! Brian is dedicated and simply knows what he is doing. I appreciate the experience and looking forward to work more with Brian. read more

I'm sooooo glad I went in today for my first free lesson! I learned so much about my voice and my only regret now is not doing this sooner! Brian was really cool and patient, he made me feel comfortable right off the bat and really listened to my voice and pushed until he was satisfied. I'm super excited now and can't wait for our next session! read more

A great great vocal teacher!! He's nice but honest so you actually know what to fix. Looking forward to more lessons and improving my voice with his help!! read more

I've been self taught for the last 6 years, and my producer had been getting on me to take vocal lessons. As a soul, jazz, pop artist I was definitely weary of teachers needless to say. It's not like you can teach soul. But I knew I was missing some basics and wanted the right person to help me let my voice soar. I found Brian and have been a weekly student ever since. His ability to pinpoint a weak spot and find its solution in a matter of minutes is what keeps me going back. Its like science. I literally hear the difference in my voice over and over every session. As crazy as it sounds I never expected a teacher to have that kind of power, effect and result. But teachers SHOULD! I also dig the fact that he's as passionate about teaching as I am about my craft, again something all teachers SHOULD possess, but don't. If you want practical solutions and improvement for your voice I'm positive you'll get it here read more

I've had SUCH a good experience with Brian!! I've had a few lessons with him now and am thrilled with the progress he's helped me make with my voice. I struggled to find someone in the San Gabriel Valley who could teach adults for a reasonable price, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their singing technique and sound. He is patient and encouraging but realistic and focused, and constantly refers back to the anatomy and physiology of sound production, which is super helpful for me to be able to understand how to manipulate my voice to sound how I want. He is extremely thorough and positive, and I feel safe sounding terrible and looking ridiculous in front of him because he is so professional and kind. He is clearly experienced in teaching people with a range of vocal abilities and is very adaptable in his teaching techniques. And he always gets a few laughs out of me--it's work, but it's fun! :) Give him a shot! read more
