Super cute cafe in the neighborhood. The staff is amazing, very friendly! Had the wake me up bagel, and avocado toast. The food is really good and fresh. The coffee is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Jersey City has an amazing coffee scene and Brewshot is definitely part of it. Got my usual iced soy latte and my reaction was "now THIS is coffee." Very good. Decently priced. Nice staff. And they have a punch card!

    Matcha latte

Absolutely disgusting. Matcha was not even green in the container it literally looked expired or just not matcha. She didn't even whisk the powder literally just poured milk on top of the powder. I am appalled that I paid $7 for this insanity. And this is supposedly a "new and improved" place???? Please don't come here.

I've been here a couple of times and the coffee and food are okay. It is cute and nice though. I'll go back when I'm in the area again.

I just paid $9 for a small latte. Highway robbery. Literally had 3 sips and it was gone. The prices are so much higher than Starbucks and other coffee shops and the quality is subpar at best. Extremely disappointed!

Fantastic coffee place with friendly employees, clean, well-organized sitting area. This place offers a lot of freshness with its decoration, aroma of the beans. As it's situated in an isolated location, it's never too busy. It does not mean the place is bad though. Today I had black coffee, which was Brazilian and Ethiopian blend. Somewhat strong, nutty, a bit earthy. They also serve pour over coffee which I had before and definitely recommended.

It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! Something with eggs, and meat, and a hot beverage as winter is fast approaching. Anything else would do fine, but the first two were an absolute must. Daily Provisions fulfilled those obligations. Though pricey, and probably why I will not return, they make one tasty breakfast sandwich. It might even outdo Panera! If only I could see how it is made rather than just wrapped and packaged for me, with me assuming they just took a pre-packaged sandwich and heated it up. I really hope they do not do that. The taste of it tells me they do not, but I have to surmise. I also got a hot chocolate, which is super rich. It is not super hot, but if you are not careful you could have an accident on the sidewalk because of the milk they use. Drink it slow and steady. Or pace yourself between sips. Do not let the body recognize this is full of the things that make bowel movements happen. Thankfully, I held my ground. They also sell crullers. I love a good cruller. Choux pastry donuts full of rich flavor, without all the density of an actual donut. This one may be too rich. It is also quite expensive. Nearby Donut Pub does a better job with them. I had to be careful eating this. Being careful and knowing how much it cost to get a breakfast here are what keep it a three star review. However, their offerings will keep you out of the cold and give you strengths on days you need to be picked up.

They also have cocktails on the menu which is something we definitely need to come back for. We got their spring specials this time but there are so many drinks I still want to try. The space is a bit cramped so it's more of a grab and go situation. The Banana Bread Hojicha ($8.75) was wow, it tastes exactly like it sounds. It was sweet enough for me without needing any additional sweetener. The only issue was that the hojicha came out a little grainy, so I think the barista didn't mix it as well as they would matcha. The Cherry Blossom Matcha ($8.50) was everything we imagined cherry blossom to taste like. A lot of times cherry blossom drinks end up tasting pretty off, but this one actually delivered. It's made with ground cherry blossom which I think makes all the difference. The matcha itself was good but the drink runs on the less sweet side, so my husband added honey and brown sugar syrup to his. By the time I got to try it, it tasted just as good as mine.
