It was a few young girls working there and they were unapproachable, didn't smile, didn't offer advice. Didn't even show us where it was. The cart was hidden way back in the corner. Will not be returning as the service (or lack of) actually put me in a bad mood. Only 2 stars because the coffee is nice.

Peet's out of Oakand has a rich history in the coffee shop industry and Buddy Brew is the best version of it. If you want syrupy sweet, they will do it for you, but if you want to taste the coffee, that is where Buddy Brew shines. Also, they put the right people in the right place. Cashier was engaging and friendly, the barista was a machine producing pure deliciousness. Location in Hyde Park was packed, but i have waited far longer at the business from Seattle when they have half the crowd. Buddy Brew is probably the best if the local multi-location coffee shops in my opinion. Far better than the bitter burnt coffee of the mega chain. Reminded me of the super smooth coffee i had in the Dominican Republic.

We came here at about 8:30 AM on a Monday so it was relatively empty. There was tons of parking outside. I ordered a Ginger latte. It is sweetened with honey. Overall I found the coffee just OK. Next time I will definitely try something else. My husband got just a plain coffee. There are a couple tables inside, none of them have more than two seats so this is more of a grab and go type place. They do have a bunch of food options as well. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of the coffee, I don't think this should stop anyone from going. This is more of a review for myself to remember if I ever go back not to get the same drink. The woman working here was very friendly.
