I had a very positive experience with Brewers Towing last week! My car was involved in an accident and the police called a tow truck for me and it turned out to be Brewers. The driver, Kyle, came to retrieve my car immediately. The roads were bad and there were many other calls and all their trucks were out on the road assisting drivers. Kyle was very polite and courteous and seemed very concerned about my safety. He spoke to the police officer and me and discussed how to handle my car. He made sure I was safe and comfortable in the warm cab and hooked up my car to be towed. Since it was not driveable, my car was towed to their station on Plymouth Road. Once there, the office staff invited me inside and made sure I was ok and comfortable while I had to make a call to my insurance company. They were friendly but also professional and made me feel confident that they handled things appropriately. I had to wait almost an hour for my ride. They were patient and helpful to me when I had the unfortunate experience of being in an accident. I would recommend Brewers Towing to anyone who needs towing services. And I heard from my insurance adjuster that they were easy to work with when he came to check on my car. read more

I had just stopped to drop off my friend at her house after a long conference week in Detroit. When I came out to get in my car to drive home I realized that my rear left tire was flat. I called my husband to see if he could come help, but he was too far away with his business. So, my husband called AAA and they sent Brewer's Towing from Ann Arbor, MI to help. They showed up only a few minutes later and Warren was the man who helped. He was so kind and even made the experience somewhat fun. As he was changing the tire he realized that the spare would not hold air either. So, Warren suggested I go to a tire shop and get both tires plugged/fixed. Warren said he would cancel this order through AAA so it would not use one of our service calls. How nice! He told me when the tires were fixed to call AAA back and request for him to return. I did just that! When I made the second service call, Warren returned to fix my tire. He was at the house almost instantaneously. Warren made me feel safe and well taken care of. Brewer's and Sakstrup's are the two towing companies in Ann Arbor. So, at least there's competition. Except that there isn't. Dennis Brewer owns this company and Sakstrup's. In addition, most of the money these companies make is towing individuals against their will and extorting them for around $250 to get their vehicle back. It's essentially a captive market. It should be no surprise, then, that the people working for the towing cartel of Ann Arbor are surly, aggressive, unethical, uncouth and just downright mean. If you have ANY other option, avoid Brewer's and Sakstrup's. If you don't, may God have mercy on you. read more

I had a flat tire and was stuck at work - thought I would call a tow company to get it out to a repair shop. Brewer's promised a guy would be out here in 30min and he arrived early, which was a lovely bonus. He changed my spare right then, and was very polite, courteous, and efficient. Turned out my spare was a full-sized new tire so I didn't need to tow it to a shop after all (even better news!). The cherry on top was that he was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the entrance of my work (my car was in a parking garage). My family and I was involved in a crash on US 23 a week ago. My truck and boat had to both be towed from the interstate to their yard. When it came time to tow the boat to be fixed they assisted in getting it to Wilson Marine for repairs. Since we are Ohio residents I asked for the truck to be towed to Ohio to Murphy Brothers Auto Body Inc. Absolutely would NOT use! We have lived in Ann Arbor for 20 years. Brewer's is Ann Arbor police towing choice to impound your vehicle. So, they work together in letting Brewer's do whatever they want regardless if they are towing a car legally parked. They have the most absolute rudest people answering the phone. When you call to ask any questions on how to pick up and such, be prepared to converse with a male misogynist, rude, and sprinkle of condescension all over. read more

Really good service. -17 degrees cold spell emptied many car batteries. Mine included. All services were busy. Insurance company had us on the phone for 3 hours. No service. So, they told us to call anybody. We called Brewers. They said 90 minutes. One of their drivers finished another call and then noticed us way down the queue but only a few houses away. Next thing you know, their truck shows up. Boom. My car gets started. Very professional. Thanks, Brewers. read more

Labor Day we had a flat on our fifth wheel on our way home from a long weekend. AAA sent Brewer's towing to our rescue. The got to us in 20 mins and had us back on the road in another 30 mins. While changing the flat the driver noticed a problem with the brake wires and brake plate, that were unrelated to the flat. Thanks so much for spotting the problem. We have corrected all issues and may not of seen it ourselves. Awesome service. read more

Brewer's is terrific in my book. I brokedown near Ann Arbor while traveling to Phila. Brewer's was summoned by AAA. The mechanic was there for less than 30 seconds, determined that an inertial fuel shut-off switch had activated, he reset the device, started the car, and he was off. I was back on the road and was so grateful to resume my trip, I didn't remember the man's name, but he was an angel and he came from Brewer's. read more

Dishonest and bad customer service. i called them to tow my car after an accident. They promised to take it to my body shop the next morning. 4 days later it was finally delivered to the car service center. Are you kidding??? No phone call or apology....they just kept my car and delayed it from being worked out. They have a monopoly but wait until there is another came in town. read more

My car wouldn't turn over so I had to have it towed to a mechanic. The guy from Brewer's was at my apartment in under 10 minutes. He even took a look under the hood and tried to troubleshoot a few things to help me out before I took it in for repairs. Very polite and friendly! The cost of the tow was covered by my roadside assistance, so I cannot comment on that. read more

Watch out! Stay away from them. They are looking for cars in the neighbourhood to tow! I was visiting my friends in his apartment, and they towed my car within 30min during midnight! We have permits and they forced us to pay 360 dollars! They have someone who is actively looking for cars to tow and take pictures in the neighbourhoods nearby! read more

I'm so sad I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who came to my assistance at 11:30 P.m. on 10/28/17. I previously had poor service r on Brewer's. This was very different. ive always had wonderful experiences with this company. at LISA W-the law states that if you walk up to your car while it is being hooked up-then the driver can release it back to you for a fee. soooo you are straight up lying from the start; it makes it hard to believe anything else you say... read more

Brewers is the best around...even if it is our fault for getting our car towed they always get blamed by rude people not taking responsibility for themselves....I will use them for towing service anytime I am in the Ann Arbor area...very helpful and polite even though I got my car towed. read more

I just happen to have one of those cars its just my luck. But when i every needed help i called brewer's towing. Very friendly. I seen all the bad reviews the thing is i did have my car towed for not having a permit but i dont blame them there just doing there jobs. read more
