WOW!! If you're looking for that home cooked meal made with love, and the hospitality to boot, you…read moredon't want to miss this place!!! Pat and Jen are doing this world a favor by being in business. Not only is their food amazing, but they pour their heart and soul into this business. They truly care about their customers and the delicious food they create. Amazing drive thru BBQ spot with happy, friendly owners. You're going to leave with a full belly and a love for Pat and Jen. We stopped by on a Saturday shortly after they opened. My husband got the brisket sandwich and I got the brisket Philly. We also got an order of their mac n cheese and some fruit and cream puffs. The brisket was so good it didn't even need sauce. It was tender, juicy, melt in your mouth. The Mac n cheese was creamy and you could taste that delicious smoky flavor. They gave us a piece of brisket to try before our food came out. Pat apologized for the wait, but there was no need. His conversation and hospitality was so pleasant and it was a treat getting to hear their story. Jen, if you're reading this.... The cream puffs were to die for. I didn't want to take the last bite because I didn't want it to end. The flavors. The quality. You can taste the love in everything!! I would make the trip from Pittsburgh for a whole tray of those fruit and cream puffs. Trust me when I say, you will not regret stopping by this place. If you're staying in Hidden Valley, it's worth the trip over. Support local!!

Being 73 years of age, I of course remember Roy Rodgers as a television cowboy, but my question…read morewould be who under 50 years of age much less anyone under 30 would know about him. So, to see a restaurant still bearing his name was a surprised, especially since Roy was never known for food. Overall, however, I was rather delighted with it a fast food restaurant. My service was good and though it would seem their main offering is a roast beef sandwich. However, as I had one of their "Spicy Chicken" sandwiches at Pennsylvania's Blue Ridge Mountain Rest Stop and found it to be totally good, I order one here too. Advertised as a marinated, fried, all-white-meat chicken breast with Monterey Jack cheese and spicy "boom boom" sauce on a Kaiser roll it was really good and precisely the same as the one I previously had.

The cook served it. The staff packaged it in the container and bagged it And nobody thought it was unacceptable to do so. I tried calling the phone number because I thought these is this way to rectify. This was to have them cancel my purchase since I had just left. It would've been easy for the manager to just cancel the purchase and credit back my card. I called at least eight times letting it ring multiple times and nobody ever answered clearly they don't answer the phones there the next day at home I sent an email in and I am currently waiting for a response. I cannot in good conscience. Recommend eating at this location as I do not personally feel like the food is edible.

In my time living in Somerset County and roaming about Somerset as a whole, I have never stopped here. I am not a coffee drinker and no, I will not go out of my way to come here for a tea or any of their food. Most of my reviews for a Starbucks usually centers around me being forced to come here with a family member or a friend. But I was on my own on this one. This location kind of sits overlooking the Turnpike so that you can see the sign to entice you to pull off here to get your fix. Honestly, that is probably the only reason Somerset has a Starbucks. The building that it sits in looks rather ominous as it is one of those dark bricked stores. Like, years down the road, once they decided to close up shop here, you will remember that this was a Starbucks. I pulled in, got in line at the drive thru and just had to sit and wait. Pulled up to the kiosk and told them I was there to pick up a drink for my sister. It was ready and I just had to pull around. That is, sit in the line and wait. Pulled up to the window and the customer service here was top notched. Not enough to convert me to a Starbucks fan, but enough to see why so many people out there are Starbucks fans. Getting in and out of here is a bit tricky. You can test you luck by pulling out of the lot onto the road. Or you can take the safer route by exiting to the access road that leads you to a traffic light. If you take this route, you might wait a little longer since the light favors the main drag, but you will get out of here in one piece and without spilling a drop.

The person who was handing me the drink looked like they were about to burst out laughing. When I looked at my drink, it was not what I ordered at all! So, I went inside and asked if I could get another one, and they said no! So, I sat down and drank it. It didn't taste anything like the pink drink I wanted! The only reason I didn't do one star is because the inside looked nice and clean, the tables were all nice and polished. But it doesn't change the fact that they made the wrong drink. P.S, Changing to Dunkin'.
