I always appreciate hospitality service workers and make it a point to be friendly and appreciative to everyone. It's just so darn difficult here. I mean for the last 6 years this has been a regular spot and nothing really seems to change. The ladies here just don't seem to enjoy their jobs. During our last visit we needed to use the restrooms and they were very unclean. My brain always connects dirty bathrooms to probably dirty kitchens. I never like to give poor reviews and give regular spots multiple tries. We just can't do it anymore. There is a coffee shop and juice bar across the street we will be trying on our next trip.

This was fine to me, as I appreciate the good atmosphere and having LB as a good local place to support when I need to work from town as opposed to home. However, the most recent time I visited, I found that the wifi has been set by the owner to limit download speeds and only received around 1-2mbps. This is not enough to support a Teams call, and so pretty much eliminates looney bean as a viable 3rd place to spend time when working remotely. I don't mind the overpriced coffee and the fact that many of the power outlets are covered, but the owner's choice to force people to go outside as one of the lovely baristas essentially stated, is poor for business, and will make it so that I will head to Starbucks or another establishment when working remotely in the future.

We ordered a drip coffee an oatmilk latte. She gave us the drip coffee immediately, which was nice. The coffee was rich and very tasty (not bitter or flavored). You should know though they do not have a public restroom, which is somewhat of a draw back when you are serving hot and cold beverages and want to attract travelers. I still gave them five stars for their coffee and service. I think that possible they are more of a juice bar, but we were very happy with the caffeine fix.
