They have all the brewed standards, plus along the rear wall are dozens of roasted beans to buy to go. Beans from all over the world, roasted in different ways, some with flavoring. You can fill up bags to enjoy your favorites at home. During our visit, I ordered a bagel and their star tots. The bagels were great quality, toasted to order with any toppings. They have options for breakfast sandwiches as well. I also had a cold brew. The staff was small, but surprisingly efficient even with the amount of customers coming and going. Prices are super reasonable as well. If you're in the area, this is a cozy spot for breakfast.

We sat in the big comfy chairs. Drank a tropical bubble tea and an iced churro coffee. The tropical bubble tea was good. Not too sweet, a little bit too much ice, but was very cool and refreshing. The iced churro coffee was delicious and a bit indulgent. Lots of cinnamon and nice cold foam top. Very good. We sat for about 30mins and enjoyed our drinks, cooled off, used the restroom and did some people watching. Place was very steady. People talking out and staying in. This seems pretty popular. All sorts of drinks ordered. Nice place lots of tables, booths, and comfy chairs and couch. Main order area is in the corner toward the back, the rest is seating. We'll be back.

It always feels like a bit of a hit or miss getting a specialty latte that looks quite sweet based on the description - I love fun sweet lattes but I dislike when they're overly sweet and taste syrup-y (high maintenance, I know). Thankfully this was lovely! Yes it was sweet but I could actually taste the coffee. I got a 16 oz to go as I don't think they did smaller sizes. Overall lovely coffee and it's just a shame I couldn't stay to try out their food menu. No photo of my coffee as it's a to-go cup...I never find those very useful unless the cup is fun.

It's popular with students, with educators, with local residents, and with whomever has had it recommended to them ... like me. I have had two people tell me about Cafe Ah-Roma and one was a local friend who now prefers coffeehouses in suburbs closer to the lake. Regardless, everyone you ask about it seems to know exactly where Cafe Ah-Roma is. When first told about it, I thought it had something to do with Rome. It then became very obvious it's a play on the word aroma that will additionally have you making an "ah" sound for relief and/or elation. The interior is comfortable like an old shoe and, based on the postings, art work, and vibe, the store has real connectedness to its community. Note that this area leans slightly liberal but not ridiculously so. That means you might even see a Karen or two in here. Also, true to the notion that "culture comes from the top down," the staff that helps you, often students, are very polite and customer-focused when the chain coffeehouses are almost at the point of sliding things at you. These are good values that the owners are passing on to employees and, here, it's about the customers. They want to know that you are happy with your purchase. I want to add that, to go with your coffee or tea, they have cookies, pastries, or could put together something savory for you. In my case, I added a tomato basil bagel with a vegetable spread that they made for me. It's all good. The prices for menu items are also fair. This coffeehouse is in the suburb immediately south of the international airport. Only a few hotels are north of CLE, with most of them being south in Berea or Middleburg Heights. If staying at a nearby hotel, this locale is nearby. Cafe Ah-Roma is for everyone and the broad customer base is really interesting. In more temperate weather, there are exterior chairs and tables under the covered walkway to nearby stores. The interior is fairly spacious and bright. In closing, Ah-Roma deserves high marks for being a good coffeehouse (4 stars) and then some, hence 5 stars.

I mentioned that I didn't realize when I had been there prior that they had one so the barista gave me an extra punch! I usually go for a basic iced latte - caramel or Irish cream with a milk alternative but they do have fun drinks listed as their specials. Their coffee is good - I need to try a speciality latte next time. They also have some pastries. I've had the bacon cheddar quiche which is delicious and their muffins. Recently I tried the apple chai and blueberry muffins. They warm everything up for you and give you little pats of Irish butter.
