Definitely appreciate their vegan options. A very yummy vegan chimichanga and you can build your own salad. Everything came out fresh and hot. The staff is extremely busy but hilarious, nice and accommodating. Our food took a while, but it was worth the wait. They also happily gave me some Off spray when I mentioned mosquitoes. read more

So. The vibe was cool. But after waiting for my salad for what seemed like forever they informed they didn't have some of the items I wanted on my salad. I did have a rum punch drink and that was good I just hate I could get my salad. My husband did have a burger and it was decent. My advice go early. And ask what items they done have. read more

The only fresh beer you will get on St. Croix. Ive seen a Pale Ale, IPA, Porter, Wit and Saison on tap rotationally. Additionally a full bar. The food is creative bar food. Build your own salad. We ate here two nights in a row. The first night everything was great...the service, the food the atmosphere all excellent! The second night (today)it was a complete train wreck! We love this place. We have eaten here twice during our trip. If you like Brussels sprouts, theirs are amazing...and you get a HUGE portion. (Large enough to be a meal). We also had the clams. The broth was different from most clams I have had and truly wonderful. The second visit we ordered the crab dip. It didn't look very appetizing, but it was delicious. I suggest asking them to hold the scallions. They detract from the dip. They brew their own beer. I had the mango lager and my wife had the blonde. I was nervous about the lager. I'm not normally a fan of fruit in beer. I was pleasantly surprised. It was subtle and delicious. My wife enjoyed her beer. She said it was light and refreshing. The service is very friendly but slow. Both visits our food took 3 times as long as it would back in the states. But the scenery is beautiful and we had no place else to be so it wasn't a problem for us. Wouldn't go here to squeeze in a quick meal before a boat reservation. read more

If you dining her you'll be facing the ocean view with boats and a hotel by the name of ^hotel and key ^ which you can take a boat there for 5$ to dip in the water. I visited Brew STX in early Jan 2023. When I arrived, I sat on the side of restaurant (I was meeting with a friend) west of the bar. There were two waitresses and a bartender. No one acknowledged my presence. The two waitresses went by me multiple times and I was not offered a menu for at least 10 minutes. No one followed up in a greeting, offered what I would like to drink. I waited to provide my order for at least 15 minutes, NO ONE acknowledged my presence. Finally I placed my order at the bar. My meal took about 30 minutes or more to come out. I ordered one of the rice bowls with teriyaki sauce, which was entirely too salty (it was just soy sauce) and ruined my meal. No one checked on me, or brought my check. Meanwhile, the whole time I'm watching the waitresses seat, bring drinks, bring food, bring the check, to multiple folks who arrived of me, folks of a certain color too. Eventually I paid at the bar. I was so upset I left without my card. Finally, one of the waitresses acknowledged I was there and called me back. I am a local, I grew up on St. Croix my whole life. I have never eaten at Brew before and I CERTAINLY will never again, and will advise real islanders to not do so as well. read more

Lovely view, great service. It may take a bit longer but hey "island time" have a drink, they're delicious. This place has the BEST lobster dinner I've had, and I've been to several places on St.Croix. ( won't mention names ) but I'd like too! And the prices are more than fair. I'm a fan. Shame I gotta dock ya points but gotta be real. Food can be real good. Burger and mahi tacos and Mac and slaw all great. But after watching the sanitation safety it makes me wanna not drink there at least. I watched the bartender's mask off the whole time, he wipes his lips with his fingers then grabs the rim of plastic cups (literally right after)- got my jaw dropped. That's not ok even non COVID times. And places shut down when a few people dance within their crews but these bartenders and servers can possibly spread to a bunch of people. Bring sani to wipe your rims. Not the only time I've seen this in the industry on island. Also watched him fill someone's personal water bottle (which is an industry no no period but I don't care if you do it safely but most aren't conscientious enough to do so, hence the standard) but he put the rim of the shaker cup (adding ice) to the rim of the personal water bottle where the person drinks from and places the shaker cup back on the bar to use again. The rest is just an FYI. The sides menu can mislead, says add on 2$ at the end- that's just for Mac, not an up sell to buy more sides to your meal. They are 4-6$. (Also less Mac in a later order) When I asked about the fish taco fresh catch they named mahi (among others I think) so I asked if the regular mahi listed is frozen or what? They said it's fresh too so I asked why the difference in price then, he said there wasn't. (I used language of caught today) But there was according to my bill. Not end of the world, just sharing for you to know. Sorry guys, being straight up. Food taste been good though! Thanks cooks. No thanks sketchy hygiene. And being real, you ain't a pro if you haven't learned not to touch the rims of glasses. That should be innate in your body if you ain't brand new. Covid or not. And I'll always update if I notice improvements. They're not branded, staff changes, management implements standards and quality control. Cocktail drinks were not watery at all but on the sweet side. The shrimp tacos were ok, with deep-fried-battered shrimps and a sauce containing pineapple we didn't care for. They're the only micro-brewery on the island, so I had high hopes and expectations. 1) They only had five of their house-made brews on tap, and they were out of one (so really only four to choose from). 2) We sat down at our table and they brought us a multi-page menu, but none OF THEIR OWN BEERS were on it. After having to wait for the server to come back and get clarification from him, we learned that their house-made beers are listed on a chalkboard way in the corner of the restaurant. Really? Having a monopoly of the island's microbreweries, you'd think they put more effort into showcasing that!? read more

Absolutely horrible experience, still living it as I write this. Christmas night, had a reservation for 6:30 PM, we were promptly seated all is good. Ordered drinks, before it was busy, got those with no issues. We then ordered appetizers, waited about 15 minutes and ordered our food. Here we are one hour and 10 minutes later with no food...every table around us that was seated after us is either eating their food or has finished their food. Our waitress couldn't care less and doesn't have an explanation for anything. Every time I asked about our appetizers, or food, she would seemingly go back and check on it and come back and tell us it was coming. She has no reason for why everyone else has food but us. Horrible experience. I would not recommend this place at all. No idea who's fault this is, could be the waitress, could be the kitchen staff, could be both... Either way, bad experience (real time review...update to follow if it gets any better). read more

Do not eat food here go to rum runners. We had Aleya as a waitress who was way rude to us. We came all the way from Miami to try to eat something with the kids took forever only thing good was the mozzarella sticks. She recommended the nachos which were horrible. Go somewhere else. Ate here this evening, my husband ordered the Ribeye steak at market price, he said it tasted fine but had A LOT of fat. I had the chicken Pomodono which was grilled chicken covered with tomato and melted cheese on a bed of rice with broccoli, really good, better than expected it to be! This place has bar food and meals done right. I'm only in town for 3 nights but made it here for dinner twice. Round 1 was the grilled chicken wings with a buffalo basil sauce. Kali was my bartender/server and guided me to a great beer brewed in-house. Simply perfect. When I travel I try to spread out my eating to get a broad sampling of local flavor but this experience convinced me to come back again. Round 2 and Kali is working tables instead of behind the bar. This time she pushed me to a special - a grilled Mahi Mahi Po Boy. The fish had been supposedly caught today and was the freshest tasting Mahi I have probably ever had. Hats off to managemt for building a strong crew, the kitchen staff for making this sometimes tough food critic very happy, the brew master for the great tasting beers, and Kali for her great personality, remembering me and "insisting" on some great things for dinner. I would have to say the crab dip was my favorite appetizer and the lobster tacos were my favorite dinner. O and don't forget to have a shark attack! I enjoyed this drink very much! We finally tried to dine in (we normally just order drinks for crab races on Mondays), it was the most expensive fish food I ever bought because my children ended up feeding the tarpons the food we ordered. My daughter told me that her shirly temple tastes "funny" apparently the sprite was "flat". The servers on that day were both nice and very friendly but the food was a blahhh, hence the 3 stars. read more

On island for one day and used my credit card once here. Within 2 hours of completion of check, my card was being used on island for fraudulent activity. Had to cancel my card. Super sucks. Worst service experience in 5+ years at any restaurant. Waitress took 15 min to take a drink order, walked away and ignored me when I tried to place my food order, didn't come back for another 10 min. Forty five minutes after that: no food. When I asked about it, we realized she never put our order in and put it in AFTER we asked about it. We only ordered a sandwich and fish tacos. Then the waitress seemed surprised when we wanted to cancel the order. Give me a break. Island time or no, covid time or no: the service was atrocious. No one checked on us at all for refills on drink the whole time we waited, and no attempt to rectify the situation at all. Do not recommend, but when 75% of the restaurants in this town are closed on Mondays or close early...this is what you get... read more

Little "craft-brew" bar on the boardwalk that serves their own beer, tropical drinks and serves bar food. We stopped in to have some beers and a bite to eat. Service was friendly and prompt, beer was okay and so was the lobster dip. As for the beer, don't go looking here to be blown away by their 4/5 beers on tap.
