I really like this place! I came here for dinner & drinks one evening, having walked past Breakers Roar a few times during the day without noticing it was there. The first thing to note is that there is a speakeasy-ish dining room with dark lighting that makes you feel like you're in a tiki bar, and then there is a semi-open air dining area that is brighter and a bit less intimate. Given pandemic restrictions, I was in the open air area. My server was absolutely hilarious and reminds me of an uncle--he was the type of person who immediately feels like your friend. I devoured the orange chicken wings *as the uncle/server noted, LOL* and enjoyed two cocktails. Naturally, I had to order from the gold-plated special menu because...it's a gold-plated menu. Marketing tactic? Yes. Did it work? Also yes, and to be fair, I really enjoyed my drink and liked the gold menu because there were more unique ingredients. True to form, the Test Pilot cocktail came in a tiki glass and with a sugar cube on fire. My next cocktail also came on fire, although it was a cinnamon stick that time. Loads of fun at this place. I can't wait to come back when the more tiki-ish side is open!

I love this bar so much. The drink menu is so enticing with classic and newer tiki cocktails that I tried a different one each night we stayed at the adjoining hotel, King Christian! The ambiance is of a ship and decor is spot on. Bartenders are well trained and watching them prepare a drink is entertainment in itself. Service is friendly and accommodating...we even managed to collect a fun set of swizzle sticks to bring home. If you are staying in Christensted, don't miss this place!!

The space is very well designed. The environment is great for unwinding. They started offering sushi rolls. I was not impressed with the taste or size. The tuna bowl was edible, but not tasty. They over salted the food. The tuna was also dry. I think the food needs some improvement. This is a great place for a quick bite. I wouldn't recommend it for dinner.

Had another amazing night at Breakers! We had Shannon as our server and she made our drinks. Everything was great. She's was very knowledgeable about the menu which really helped because there are so many drink options. Will definitely be back to see her and enjoy the delicious apps

Unfortunately for us, the venue was a total debacle when it came to food and service! We made our reservation on Monday. We showed up at 6pm per the reservation only to find that we didn't make it onto the actual reservation list. No assigned table. So, one was created for us. The initial service was fine; however, our food order got lost because our newly created table wasn't on the list of tables in the kitchen system! 2 and 1/2 hours later we finally got food -- the show was long over and clean up had begun. Instead of comping us the food that was so terribly delayed, they comped us for the appetizers only! Unbelievable! Again, the show is totally worth seeing but EAT BEFORE YOU GO! Food and drink were overpriced and mediocre. Avoid it completely if you can see the show at another place!!

It was dinner time so we decided to try the Deep End Bar And Grill that is by the resorts pool. The restaurant only had few customers sitting at the bar so we sat at a table. Our waitress was very friendly and came to the table quickly. We ordered two different cocktails off their specialty menu and two fettuccine and one salmon dinner and an ice tea. The drinks were very tasteless ! There was no sweetener for the tea ( was told the manager doesn't believe in sweetener) The dinners were tasty and portions were adequate. When we received our check we were charged for chicken with the fettuccini that we did not ask for the salmon dinner rang up in their system 6$ more than on menu. They did correct the $6 but was politely told " we don't take American Express! ( our manager won't let us accept it) My final impression was the staff was good , the food was tasty, but the manager obviously has issues to correct. We will not be going back there for one main reason "they don't take American Express ". In a resort, go figure.

The drinks are a little pricier, but taking into account you're in the middle of a national park with not much around, the prices make sense. Drinks absolutely delicious - we loved the pina colada! I'm not sure if they're related or not, but there is a little food shop little right next to it with the same available seating. As with the drinks, food there is a little pricier but take into account where you are. We ordered the mahi bites. Absolutely delicious. Fish was solid enough to pick up but flaked apart in your mouth. Would totally order again. Great place to stop when you're enjoying the beach at Maho Bay.

When I returned them, he ran the tab on my credit card and said the total was $49.20, which was $8 more than it should have been. I asked him why it was so high and he said sales tax. I told him I didn't think sales tax was charged on St. John and he said it was charged everywhere in the Virgin Islands. Very suspicious, I left and waited for the receipt to come through text. The receipt showed that the $8 was a tip that Desitin had added without my knowledge. I went back and comfronted him and told him I know what he did and I don't appreciate it and I would be letting managagement know, then walked away. He chased me down and handed me $10 and said he wanted to "makes things right", but then proceeded to gaslight me into thinking this was all my fault. He said I should be grateful that he didn't double charge me on the rental. What??? I have tried to contact management, but I guess they don't want anyone to send complaints. The two phone numbers I found and one email address are total dead ends.

OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Cruzan Beach has changed that for me with their kale salad topped with a tasty mango chutney like sauce, toasted coconuts, curried pumpkin seeds, cherry tomatoes and cilantro lime vinaigrette. I come to Cruzan for this salad and my hubby on the other hand comes here for the Truffle fries ($8) and lobster quesadillas ($19). Both are insanely good and if you have the kale salad it makes you feel as though all those veggies you ate cancel out the bad stuff in the other two dishes. A few other munchies to note are the jerk chicken skewers ($9), buffalo chicken tenders ($9) and the hummus plate ($14). These are good options to have with happy hour than runs daily from 5p-7p and serves up drinks that are only $2-$3 each. So why did this place lose a star? Because service can reaaaaaalllllyyyy slow down here and if you're sitting in the wrong place on the deck you will melt to death. From the moment we arrived after a quick ferry ride from St. Thomas we were swept up in the vibe. This spot is basically a no-holds-barred beach bash in broad daylight: cold tropical cocktails flowing, live music pumping (especially on Sundays), and everyone from locals to visitors cranking the energy to max. It's not just a bar and grill; it's where "daytime beach party" gets redefined. We got there early, grabbed shaded lounge chairs plenty of amenities like paddleboarding and snorkeling are a nice bonus), and before we knew it, the place was packed with groups laughing, dancing in the sand, and toasting like it was midnight at a club. Pure, unfiltered fun kids these days might call it getting "Crunked Up," but for us, it was straight-up thriller-level partying under the Caribbean sun. The food hits the spot too: fresh locally caught fish, juicy burgers, tacos, and salads that feel perfect with your feet in the sand. Service can lag when it's slammed (which it usually is, in the best way), but who cares when the atmosphere is this electric? Fun facts that make it even better: Dinghy's sits right on Honeymoon Beach, one of the calmest, clearest spots in the USVI, on tiny Water Island (just 3/4 square mile easy to explore, big on vibes). It evolved from a spot called Joe's Beach Bar when the current owners took over around 2013, turning it into the go-to for boozy, sweaty, sultry beach days that feel like the Caribbean's version of a legendary cantina hangout. No wonder it's racked up thousands of glowing reviews it's consistently ranked as a top beach bar for good reason. If you're in St. Thomas and want a place that kicks off the good times early and doesn't let up, Dinghy's is it. 5 stars would party there again in a heartbeat. Cheers to epic daytime adventures!
