Today we came here after our daughter's graduation from preschool to let her pick out a pastry for herself. This spot is great to try out new things that you otherwise wouldn't have tried. I had a croissant a few months ago that usually is a mini croissant filled with some type of lemon custard cream with strawberries on it. It's usually in the display with the savory foods (sandwiches etc). Whatever that lemon custard cream is that they use in those is so good but those croissants are so small. I asked someone at the front if they could help me with finding something else that uses the same lemon custard and she showed me a few options. So happy I picked that purple donut pictured, it was so delicious. I highly recommend anything with that lemon custard in it. It reminds me of this lemon cream cheese icing my mother used to make for lemon cake and it is so good, but this was 10x better. All of the fruit on the pastries is always perfect. The best strawberry and blueberry quality and ripeness you could ask for (not tart at all). The employees are super kind, I feel like I'm always super self conscious going here because we always decide last second before I get ready for the day and I'm always ready to be judged by everyone I encounter for how I look , but everyone has always been super sweet here and always interacts with our daughter as well and makes it a fun experience for her.
