Most Ladies are Un-aware of a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy, (Georgetown Location) Not sure if Family Emergency is included in that policy, last thing I want to worry about is making sure I get my hair done... I was on the road to Dallas by 4 am and decided to call Breeze at 8 am and see if they had voicemail, I did leave a message, and they still charged my credit card $60.00 for a missed appointment! you just lost a customer!! I decided to try color and a modern cut on my white hair so I wanted a reputable salon. I thought Aveda salons had a reputable reputation but my visit did not leave me with any thought of returning. i had a picture to go by but the end result was a color nightmare and the cut was too short for the style in the pic that I wanted. the stylist was a very nice lady, who I won't mention, but her skills left me unsatisfied. I contacted the owner of this chain and their idea of repairing the damage was inadequate. As a result, I will never go back to the Breeze salons but will continue my quest to find someone who can give me the likeness of the picture that I brought. very very disappointing. read more

I called to book an appointment, I said I have tons of hair and I'd like to get it colored. I come in girl gives me a frown and says we just don't have time to do your hair. Ok fine. I call back to make another appointment and I STRESS how much hair I have and the painful experience I had last time and how I do not want another mess up. Well it just happened again. Really horrible customer service and the stylists always say the girls who book don't know what they are doing. That's why I stressed how much hair I have. Unbelievable. Very rude stylist also. This review is specifically just for Jill and the awesome massage I received. I don't think I'd recommend this spa if you're looking for a romantic time or bachelorette day, since you walk into a small salon sales shop, basically. It's not the type of spa where you get to go in and get dressed in robes and relax about before/after the services. Def not a luxury type feel. I opted for a 90 minute relaxation massage since I had a gift card to cover the price (price was reasonable, $110 I think). I always do Swedish so I wasn't expecting much. Most relaxation massages I've had in the past the masseuse slaps there hands about your body for a while and calls it a day. Not Jill! Man, if she hasn't been doing this for a long time I'd be shocked. She even incorporated a hot disc type thing that was a nice surprise. Her face massage... woooo. I've always wanted one but never asked and if I ever go back I'll just ask her to do the face massage for the last 30 min haha. It felt so great. Really. I've been to SO many spas around austin/round rock/Gtown, and this massage was in my top 3 I've ever received. tip: make sure to mention the new customer $20 off discount. They say they'll add it to your account (over the phone) but they wont. When you pay you have to tell them again to take the $20 off. My gift card and $20 discount covered more than the cost, and if you have extra on a gift card you can give the left over as a tip. I also asked for a small envelope to add a bit extra hard cash for a tip, so make sure to do that, too! read more

I am extremely disappointed with my cut and color. I was hoping my stylist would be one to return to but unfortunately, I will NEVER go back to her or this salon. Aliyah at the Cedar Park location found it difficult to give me basic brunette highlights, she took about 10-15 minutes filling out paperwork to figure out what she was going to use to get my desired result, then came back to have me sign paperwork agreeing to the high price. That should've been a red flag and I should have walked away. Silly me. She then leaves dye stains on my face and at the edges of my scalp and on top of that, the end result is NOTHING AT ALL what I asked for. I would have done a better job myself with a box color from any hair brand at the grocery store. She then butchers my hair by cutting my bangs way too short, even after I told her I wanted them a bit below my eyebrows. I wanted to cry when I saw them. I felt like a 3rd grader again when my mother cut them too short. To add to that hair atrocity, she didn't know how to do long layers with razor cut edges. This is a basic cut. I really wish my hair stylist hadn't moved. Aliyah is a nice person, but she needs to be re-trained and get MUCH MORE PRACTICE on how to cut and color hair. For the sake of the next customer. I was way too nice because I still paid full price and I am kicking myself for not having asked for a manager to give me a HUGE discount for having my hair ruined. I had to go to another stylist at another salon, to get it fixed. I have to buy head bands to cover my awful bangs. Can't wait for them to grow out, UGH!! Please go elsewhere and do more research. I went in for a full highlight and haircut for my medium blonde length. I paid $200 and left with color so bad my blonde hair looked ashy and green. The haircut was uneven. They promised me a "complete complimentary redo" and booked the appointment for two weeks out. I went in today for the comp redo and was charged $62 for the cut. This was upsetting and embarrassing because I already paid once. What they did today was fix what their inept stylist screwed up the first time. It wasn't gratifying to learn the first stylist has been "let go." I would rather they have not damaged my hair. I would have rather had a nice style for Christmas family photos - but hey I got to be the Grinch with the green hair - and pay for it twice! I left a very generous tip the second time before I knew they were going to go back on their PROMISE of a "complimentary do over." I don't know what's more galling: paying twice for my hair to be damaged or that the assistant manager sat there and argued with me what complimentary do over meant - in front of customers! Literally in tears. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted--just some ashy blonde highlights. She literally made my head look like reverse tiger stripes. The highlights were not blended at all and the color was a horrible, brassy orange/yellow. Yet somehow the stylist, knowing what I wanted, looked at the catastrophe she created and thought it looked nice? Not to mention, she made rude comments about my hair the whole time, calling it "sticky???", making me feel bad and embarrassed for having split ends, and asking with a disgusted face what was in my hair when she first touched it. It was dry shampoo. Chill. After I paid I went to my car, saw my horrendous hair; and cried for 20 minutes because I NEVER confront people if they've done anything wrong. I finally went back in and asked if she could fix it and the front desk told me they could schedule me for about a week and a half from then. I ended up cancelling my appointment because I didn't want to have to see the stylist again and endure her rude comments about my hair. Also, if she couldn't get it right the first time, I don't trust her to get it right the second time. I ended up going to ULTA and getting supplies to just fix it myself. Update: Nicole has left and since then, the salon has called me, offering to set me up with another random stylist to which I declined. A couple weeks after the phone call, I checked my mailbox and received a letter from them, wherein they asked again if I'd be interested in choosing from one of three random stylists they listed. They also offered a promo price on services for staying. Put your listening ears on, Breeze! I already said "no". I'm loyal to my stylist; not a corporate salon. I'll be following her to her new place at Lighten Up Hair Salon & Spa. I've been going to Nicole E. for years and she's THE best! Before this place became my go-to salon, I used to search for a new place/stylist after each cut as no one really blew me away (ability or personality). On one of my first visits, I was randomly scheduled with Nicole, and we immediately clicked. She is energetic and has a fun sense of humor, not to mention that she does an amazing job on color and cut. From the first appointment, I knew she was going to be the only one working on my hair from then on. For months I simply had her do a cut, shampoo & style. I was envious of her hair as it was always perfectly styled and colored all sorts of beautiful, fun hues but I'd never professionally had my hair colored and was nervous about upkeep and cost. Soon enough my curiosity (and grays) got the best of me, and I decided to dive into the world of color treatments. I showed Nicole some pics of reds & purples I liked and asked her to work her magic in the form of a full highlight. She did a fantastic job & my husband loved it too. I trust her completely with my hair and don't have a particular cut that I stick with, so she gets free reign every visit. I simply request that I can pull it back in a ponytail and mention my preferred hues: red, purples or my natural brown/black. Kaylee is amazing!! I am very picky with who does my hair especially since I'm a "blonde". She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute artist. Mackenzie is AMAZING! I have been an Aveda salon client for 15 years, frequenting salons in LA, Portland, Oregon and for the last 3 years Georgetown, Texas. In the last 3 years, Mackenzie has changed my hair from dark (almost black), to medium brown, to medium brown with balayage of light brown then red, back to medium brown and now to dark (almost black). My hair is healthier, longer and fuller now then it was 3 years ago! She listens and styles my hair the way I want it! I have never felt the NEED to rush home and restyle my hair after an appointment before going about the rest of my day! Got my hair done today by Jennifer and she was able to cut it exactly as the example photo I provided. More than happy with the service. Please keep in mind that this is also a day spa, so the price is a bit higher than just going anywhere for a haircut - but it's well worth it. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming, the place is kept well and everything is clean. They are very through when it comes to making sure you know exactly what you'll be paying beforehand so there's no surprises. And they make sure you walk out happy. UPDATE: Was contacted by Breeze with apology after posting this review. Was also offered a free mani and pedi. Went to get my free mani and pedi and was very happy with the service I received. I will probably return again now that they have shown they cared about my experience. Have had bad experiences at 3 out of 4 of these salons. The Cedar Park one emptied my bank account. The Round Rock one quoted me a price on the phone- then when I got there, they said the prices had gone up and were way more expensive. I booked a spa package at the Georgetown salon. They said a manicure was included, but when I got to the checkout, they said the manicure I had was not included and made me pay cash for it. Terribly run. read more

I booked a full color online, and confirmed over the phone. I chose a master stylist to ensure the color was done properly, and selected the earliest time available. When I arrived at the salon, I was told they didn't have enough time for the color I wanted and that it would take a few hours. Ended up just getting a trim that cost $80. I don't know if the issue is with the online booking system or lack of communication, but I will be looking for a different salon in the future. read more

Extremely Disappointed in the customer service in regard to extensions on gift cards due to the pandemic. I was given a gift card for my bday and found out it expired. I called to see if there was an extension or anything they could do for me and I received an immediate NO. I was told due to the fact that "they" were open as soon as they were approved to and have been open that I could have come in to use it. Didn't matter if I was immune compromised or not. I was reluctant due to COVID and had not planned on going anywhere tell things were back to normal, but did my research and they have some great safety precautions in place. I went in to get a pedicure taking my pregnant friend along as she had never had one before! We were very excited in the beginning and it turned out to be awful. My feet look to worse than when I went in after I left. The skin on the bottom of my feet was peeling even my nail polish was nicked and the girl that was doing my friend told her at one point to not look at her feet to talk to me instead which was ridiculous and I don't know why that comment was even made. I do not recommend getting pedicures at Breeze EVER. And it was $47! I cannot believe the level of service that I got for $47 apiece! I could've gone down the street to any old nail salon and got an away better job for $25 where they also include a wax treatment and things like that. But point-blank is the fact that my feet look disgusting like they halfway did my feet versus making it look worse my skin is peeling and really embarrassing to be honest. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this salon and my stylist. I had scheduled an appointment for an express keratin treatment and when I arrived my stylist told me that we needed to do the full treatment (which is much more expensive and take hours longer to complete). I told her I did not have the time or money for that and we went back and forth on this for several minutes before her mentor came over and explained what she needed to do. Not a great start and didn't feel very confident, also felt pressured to pay for a more expensive service that I was not ready to commit to (treatment I wanted lasts 5ish weeks, treatment she was pushing lasts several months). After the appointment, I followed the post-treatment guidelines. However, the treatment did not work and my hair looks the exact same as before - after 2.5 hours and $125. I called the salon and the receptionist confirmed with the manager that they would offer a complimentary service to re-do the treatment. I told her I'd be going out of town for the holidays and can book in January, which I was told was fine. I then got a call today (the day after this service was promised and I told them about my travel plans) saying that they have a 10 day policy for complimentary services. I was very clear that I'm unable to come to the salon on such short notice and they refused to accommodate. I wasted hours of time and too much money on this and am incredibly disappointed in the treatment and service. Also want to add, the stylist had food in her hair and made political comments during the session, which made this appointment even more uncomfortable.
