During the entire process they communicated regularly -- which I like. They came, installed the coil in just a few hours and tested everything out. Good as new. I suspected that my a/c doesn't start due to a bad capacitor. I called JT Air to come out and…read morecheck. The capacitor was indeed bad and he replaced them. The a/c started fine after that, but he said that my refrigerant is low and needs to be recharged. I said OK. During the recharging my a/c made a lot of noise and blew out a lot of smoke and steams. He then blames it on a bad recharge line in my a/c and said that he wasn't at fault and then left without asking me to pay for the capacitor and refrigerant. I had to call another a/c repair shop the next day. The new repair guy came out and found that he has replaced my old bad 33 uF capacitor with a new 55 uF one which was just too much for my a/c. As a result it blew up my compressor's valve and now I will have to buy a new unit. I had the new repair guy talked to him and explained the problem but JT Air denied everything and refused to take responsibility for his actions. He lacked honesty, integrity and was just trying to up-charged me more for the unnecessary refrigerant. I will also file a complain to BBB and licensing agency to hopefully warn and protect others from him.

customer beware a/c…read morewent out on a Sunday night, gave him a call I was assured 9 am the next morning. 9 comes around no tech.......9:30 no tech give him a call.......I'm right down the road hour passes no guy around noon he shows up and gets to work JT laughs in the face of questions and professes he is the expert........ ac gets fixed......compressor fan motor is out....we get charged a total for $360 for two hours of his time and a $90 part......ugggggg a week later I wake up at 5 am to a squeal.......fan outside had completely fallen off and was laying on the compressor......idiocy I call him up.....but decided to cancel and go with another company turns out we had a failing capacitor in the attic and the one at the compressor went bad no wonder JT had problems getting the unit to run again........no strong caps to start the unit up chaulk it up to a lesson in life please avoid at all costs
