My A/C started blowing 82 degree air and I turned it off. This was on a Friday evening. Saturday…read moremorning I called and spoke to Angela who arraigned for a tech to come out. Parker evaluated the cause (slow leaking evaporator coil) but he wanted to be sure the rest of the system maintained integrity by performing a pressure leak test which he did a few days later. He charged the system back up, enough to get me to the pressure test. Confirming the problem, he passed me over to Hope who provided a solution and explained in detail what needed to be done, what it would cost, and how long it would take. This was on a Friday afternoon. She was able to coordinate the required new equipment, materials and schedule their construction team for the following Monday morning. Everything was in place that morning and needless to say, they knew what to do and how to do it. They jumped on it, and never stopped. No breaks, no lunch and were finished by 2:00 PM. This was a major project, having to demo and rebuild the supply plenum, remove and replace the coil section of the furnace, install a new drain pan and drains, etc. As fate would have it, my thermostat had failed and that caused a delay getting the system to start. Richard, another airWoodlands tech came out and discovered the problem quickly and provided me with a new thermostat. From Angela, to Parker, to Hope, to Cossa, and to Richard, I could not have asked for a better team from any one, anywhere. Customer service in general has failed in America, but this group is an exception. I will never have to search for an a/c contractor. Air Woodlands is the best. (A special call out to Parker. He was the key element in earning my trust and Air Woodlands)

This review is coming straight from a first-time homebuyer who was blessed to purchase an older…read moresemi-renovated single family home. Long story short, we are happy and thankful to have our home but with an older home comes older home issues. This summer's issue occurred when our air conditioner decided to begin its slow death in the middle of Houston-August when the temperature was around 147-degrees if I remember correctly. We tried having friends of friends come over and service the unit, as well as purchase 100plus dollars worth of fans for the house but the Houston-August heat continued to be disrespectful. So we realized that we would need to start the process of trying to locate an AC Company to provide us with a diagnostic and a quote to repair or possible replace our AC Unit. I had NO IDEA that the next week would be so mentally exhausting!! I swear, I have never had so many USED CASH CAR SALESMAN in my presence in such a short amount of time! It was really a disappointing and disheartening experience to have so many people from the bigger "reputable" companies come in and blatantly lie to my face about the amount of work I needed to have done. Let them tell it, I needed to throw the whole house away or at least set up financing to purchase the equivalent of a KIA Soul to fix my AC. I cannot stand disingenuous people and I felt like that was all I was coming in contact with. Just when I was about to give in and pick one of these Janky Salesmen's companies, I decided to do a little more home work and call a few more people. That is when I came across Air of Houston. I called them and they set a date and time when they were supposed to come and they ACTUALLY came at that time and date (take notes ARS)! Mr. David showed up personally to come and access the situation, and I exaggerate you not... he was THE ONLY person to tell me about my warranties on my current equipment. He took the time to explain the options to my wife and I as well as provide a VERY reasonable quote compared to the other folks who let flies in my house going in and out the front door before selling me a dream. Mr. David shot straight from the hip, and provided an old school "hand shake and eye contact" feeling you don't find with bigger companies who send their salesmen to your home to practice their script. He didn't, "call his manager to see if they could go down on the price" like the others did... All he did was come in and tell me what he found to be the problem, explain what he believed to be the best rout to take in order to fix it, and follow through with the agreement by providing prompt and professional service! I can't say enough about how much I appreciated my experience with Air of Houston and Mr. David. I just wish I had made the call sooner so I could have saved myself the headache and a few flies in the house. I would recommend Air of Houston to anyone looking to have his or her AC repaired or replaced. Now if you'll excuse me as I go back to enjoying this 71-degrees in my upstairs bedroom... Hope this helps!!

I have purchased Trane stems from them about 15 years ago and sadly, due to the horrific heat and our usage, I need to buy a new system. I am definitely going to buy from them because they are honest and responsive. I have yet to call them and not receive a response ASAP and what I also like is that they do not try to upsell. That, for me, is the kiss of death. I am surprised that some have not had the pleasure of sharing my experience. I have recommended them to several of my friends and they have all had a great experience too. While sometimes people and companies do miss the mark, I like the way that the manager, in handling his responses to negative reviews, takes accountability and is as forthcoming regarding either the problem or the possible next steps. So many don't do that. I think that it is to our benefit to always establish our expectations at the on-set so that neither party is disappointed. I have found that these kind of frank discussions make the process easier for both the vendor and me, while they may seem uncomfortable at the time.

They did a service call later that day which revealed that the board on my furnace was bad and needed to be replaced. They put in a temporary fix which allowed one of my 2 thermostats to directly control the AC for the entire house until then. Monday roll around, they came out and replaced the board which took a few hours. After being told it was done, there was still no air coming out of the vents. I communicated my problem and the next day, the owner had another tech out investigating my issue which revealed a slightly different issue than what it was originally believed to be. They got it figured out and got my AC working. They also came back the following day just to further troubleshoot and make sure they had the issue fully resolved, then also fully explained to me what was the issue and the steps they took to resolve it.
