Great service and a knowledgeable and professional sales and admin team. Very low key no pressure selling which was most appreciated. Will definitely recommend Bredemann to friends and family. read more

Great experience purchasing a 2016 explorer from Salesman Rick Seranno. From the first test drive to the final close, Rick and the others at this dealership went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and overall made the buying process very easy. Scott who works in the finance department also did an excellent job explaining the warranties an optional warranty plans. This is a top notch dealer and I would definitely buy from them again! Great deal and great service! read more

I didn't spend more then a hour in there with two test drives with August my salesman. Before I left with a new dodge ram pickup. I don't know the other people there but I know people. If you go here ask for august who is honest and straight forward person with no pressure tactics, who was also comfortable with my driving on the back roads. To whom it may concern I give my bests for this gentleman! read more

My '04 Focus ZTS was rattling from underneath. From past experiences, I thought it might be coming from a loose heat shield on the catalytic converter. My last 3 cars have ALWAYS been serviced by Ford dealers, however, I'm new in Glenview & this was my first visit to Bredemann Ford. Asst. Service Mgr. Michael Pluta heard my concerns, inspected the car all the way around & found that it was not the heat shield. It was in fact a busted motor mount. Michael had my car ready to go in a day or so & for a reasonable price. I will be returning to Bredemann Ford in the future as I have found my new trusted neighborhood Ford Dealer. read more

They could not have been more accommodating. The 2004 Toyota Sienna I got on a trade in could not have looked newer. The staff was very nice and worked with me every step of the way. I will definitely stay loyal to Bredemann in the future. read more

Started coming here for service work on my Ford Flex because of the poor experience at Golf Mill Ford (see my previous review). Been to Bredaman twice so far and everything has been smooth so far. They are busy like everyone else and the waiting area needs updating but oil change has been done in about an hour unlike 2+ hour waits at Golf Mill. read more

The team at Bredemann Ford is AMAZING! We highly recommend working with John Messner and Steve Settler! They are honest people that kept their word and ensured our entire experience while purchasing our new vehicle was second to none! We will definitely go back anytime we need another vehicle! We could not have been more pleased and impressed!!!!!! read more

Wife and I had been searching for a certified economy car. We went to see several at dealerships near us in Chicago. Every experience was a real disappointment. The salesmen we encountered could have been right out of a comedic parody on SNL. Super aggressive, high pressure, not able to size-up a potential customer's knowledge or savvy. All the silly rehearsed tricks you could imagine. We had just about given up when we spotted a '13 Ford Focus priced very competitively thanks to a Black Friday sale at Bredemann Ford in Glenview. Went to see the car and take it for a test drive without an appointment which was no issue whatsoever. The salesman, Paul Ipjian could not have been a nicer guy. Absolutely zero pressure experience and knowledgeable about the vehicle . Even though the Black Friday sale had expired they honored the sale price. We negotiated a deal that I feel was fair. No hidden BS of any kind. There was a bit of a sales pitch from their sales manager to purchase a premium warranty program above and beyond the Ford Certified Warranty but it was not a hard sell and everyone at Bredemann was very respectful. This was the easiest car purchase transaction I've ever experienced. read more

This is my 1st Ford Purchase. I was debating between a Toyota Tundra and a Ford F150. I found 3 different trucks one being at Bredemann Ford in Glenview. All 3 trucks were very similar. I met with Paul Iphjian, the sales rep, and he was very knowledgable about the truck. He had the most information on the truck. He made the buying process very easy. I noticed there was a small dent on the back of the truck after I purchased it and Ira Schreiber, the Sales Manager, took care of if for me in a timely manner. Definitely a great place to shop for a new or used Ford. I'm glad I found them. Will be looking at them when the time comes to purchase my wife's car. read more

I had a wonderful experience buying my first car from a dealership. David Ipjian made me feel very welcome and was extremely helpful in finding the right car for me. He helped me get what I was looking for in a car and didn't make me feel like just another customer, I felt like I was his only focus and that's a great feeling when making such a big decision. David was great and I'm looking forward to my relationship with this Ford dealer for many years to come. Thanks David Ipjian I love my new car!! read more

I have been lucky with my Taurus that I havent had to get it repaired much at all. When I did have issues with it I found out that my car was covered under a 100,000 miles extended warantee and the dealer kindly let me use a service loaner for a week while parts where ordered. I was pleseantly surprised when I got my Taurus back washed and cleaned. on another trip there to ask about a issue with my car (well after the warrantee was up) the service manager handed me a Ford OEM oil filter and told me it would take care of the issue. He didnt charge me for it and his advice was right on. The cheap aftermarket oil filter was causing a noise in my motor. It was an extra he dnidnt have to do but reaffirmed why I bought a Ford. The service is next to none! Thanks again! read more

They charge more than other Ford Dealership service department in the area. Reduce the price on a wheel hub assembly when ask what am I missing because you charge way more than other auto repair shop then price was reduced by $220. When you ask why they charge 5 hours of labor to replace an output speed sensor when 3 other Ford dealerships charge 3.5 they double talk about how much work it takes and that they include an hour of diagnostics in labor. The last straw was picking up the car with damage and them lying that it came in that way. We didn't notice it because the car was dirty and they gave it a car wash. They talk to woman condescending and as thought they are stupid and can't see the lies. Will never take a car to them again! read more

Disclaimer: We are not ones to post negative reviews just for fun. We try and look at the positives of situations, but we feel that our voices need to be heard so that changes can potentially be made. First of all, thank you, Chester, for taking care of us. Other than that, we had a sub-par car-buying experience with Bredeman Ford. For starters, we were told that all vehicles are thoroughly looked over before they are put on the lot. Our vehicle must have been the exception. The interior was very dirty with stains strewn across the ceiling and dog hair throughout the vehicle. To top it off, the moon roof did not work which led to us spending the majority of the day at the dealership and not being able to leave with the vehicle we purchased. Overall, Chester worked hard and did what he could to clean the car up and have it delivered to us, thanks again! read more

Great service. Mike Reyes was beyond helpful. I greatly appreciate the depth in which he took to explain in detail, what was going on with my brakes. He had greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly. He took in my Ford Explorer for a recall and I asked for an oil change. This location has always been helpful and even though they are busy they make sure they say hello. The employees work together to take care of customers right away. They gave me a rental car just so I was not inconvenienced. When I came back to get my car they even washed my car. Would highly recommend this place. Professional and it is known that they know what their doing. Thanks again. read more

Excellent experience buying my 2015 Ford Escape here. They made is simple, easy and fast. Think it only took 2-3 hours tops. I'm so glad the first seller fell through. I had no car (was walking everywhere)... they worked with my budget and preferences and I simply love love love my Ford Escape. read more

I chose Bredemann as the place to purchase my first car because my family has purchased many cars from them over the years and have never had any significant problems. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I was working with a very tight budget and the salesperson spent quite a bit of time calling other dealerships to find the exact car I wanted. He was even able to find one with additional features within my price range. I did not feel pressured at all and they were extremely patient. One of the salespeople also spent some time with me setting up the SYNC system when I picked up the car. read more

Bredemann Ford in Glenview - My new used truck from Bredemann Ford - Auto Repair Near Me - Glenview, Illinois

Johnny Messner, David Dooley, and Steve Travanik all helped our daughter find the best car and lease for her days on the road in Chicagoland and beyond. We're lucky to have the Bredemann's as advisors to our auto needs and are fortunate to be a part of their customer family. My daughter is now loving her Ford Escape and is ready to go in her days ahead. Thanks John and all at the Bredemann Family of dealerships. My husband and I just purchased a third vehicle (Escape SE) for our teens. Steve and Chester (sales team) and the tech rep were all wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We left feeling that we were treated fairly and honestly. We were given ample time to make our decision, and then given a complete run down on the vehicle before we left so we were very comfortable and at ease. Our children couldn't be more excited with this vehicle. Thank you Bredemann Ford for making a car purchase a very enjoyable process. We never felt overwhelmed or pressured. It was a wonderful experience because of the terrific staff and the great vehicle we drove home. read more

They did not offer as much on my trade-in, but the customer service was very good. Chester went out of his way to pick me up after selling my trade-in, ensured my car was washed, without scratches or scuffs, explained the features of the car. He kept in touch and responded to my emails and calls in a timely fashion. Steve in financing was equally friendly and knowledgeable. The process was very smooth and quick! read more

Couldn't have been happier with our car buying experience. No high pressure sales, just a knowledgeable sales associate that patiently answered all of our questions prior to our final selection (we were choosing between two models and various trim levels). Purchase process couldn't have been easier, no last minute swicheroos or attempts to alter cost/purchase price. Would definitely recommend and will be buying our next Ford here as well. WARNING FRAUDULENT SERVICE DEP. - do not take your car here for service. I took my 2012 Ford Fusion which was still under warranty into Bredemann Ford due to a tire pressure sensor fault message. After the car was looked at, the service rep said bad news, the tire pressure sensor is not OEM and is not covered under Fords warranty. He said the car was in an accident and the shop who fixed it must have made the repair with a nonFord sensor. This didn't make sense so I called the body shop to investigate. They told me the damage was only to the bumper/hood area and that the tires were never removed, therefore they would not have had access to the wheel pressure sensors. I went back to the counter and read the service ticket, the mechanic wrote "tried to calibrate wheel pressure system - RIF (right front) pressure sensor failed and is inoperable. I thought something was kind of fishy. Since the car is still under warranty, you'd think the mechanic would have wrote something like "non OEM part - not covered under warranty" instead of sensor failed on the service ticket. I then challenged the service manager and their story change stating that it was a genuine Ford sensor, but not the right one. I took pictures of the old sensor including the part number. After 30 min of making a huge scene in the service department they finally agreed to replace the sensor. While they where repairing my car, I called the parts counter at Highland Park Ford and gave them my VIN and a description of the part. The part number they gave me matched the one in the pictures. In short they were trying to use the previous accident to deny a legitimate warranty claim and make their customer pay 160 bucks instead. I don't think so. Suffice it to say that I won't be returning here for anything. BEWARE !!!!!!!!! read more

Friendly, honest, ethical, great price When it came time to replace my 12 year old Lincoln, my husband and I agreed, we don't like buying a new car because we remember uncomfortable past experiences. But our experience with Bredemann Ford was so positive it was a total pleasure from the first time we walked in the door. Much of that was due to our salesman, John Messner, but everyone we dealt with and everything we saw spoke to an honest, ethical, friendly dealership. Ford's Web site, and those we talked to at the Chicago Auto Show, encouraged us to go online and choose the options I wanted, so I did. A review of local dealers' inventories showed I couldn't get what I wanted in stock. When we went to Bredemann, John offered to order it from the factory. John is very knowledgeable and he and my husband happily talked cars (I don't speak car) and agreed on what best met my needs. The price he quoted was excellent, and no one tried to sell us anything else. He even worked out delivery around my travel obligations. We got the car yesterday and he spent an hour talking us through the mechanics and technology of my new car. From start to finish, we experienced friendly, respectful, honest dealings that resulted in our feeling comfortable and trusting. John mentioned that Mr. Bredemann had been a Jesuit-trained seminarian. Since I am a graduate of Loyola University, I can testify to the emphasis Jesuits put on ethics in their education. We would definitely go back to Bredemann for our next vehicle. read more

I wish I could give the service station 10 stars, I'm so happy with my service! Was in a panic after failing an emissions test needed to renew my registration before the end of the month. Service Excellent !! Sales a Total JOKE.. These guys don't understand the sales cycle. The Customer is in Charge! Sales and store general manager so unprofessional. A negative attitude permeates the entire process. They rule the sales staff by fear. ... old school managers totally out of the game. They don't understand todays buyers, have not adapted to todays consumer or how they buy. They are clueless. The consumer knows more than they do.... were educated. Here's the formula for all successful business .. Be Nice.. understand the customer .. provide a product that meets the customers needs...collect the money. Its that simple .. no attitude .. say thank you. Remember .. we are spending our MONEY !!! Interesting for a family with 100 years in the auto business. Store looks like its from the 50's at best ... its a bandage operation. Surprised Ford Motor Company puts up with the image given todays branding / perception. Its a time capsule and management acts like it. This place needs a clean sweep out a complete overhaul. Ford store must be the step child of the empire! Their Lexis, Toyota, Chevy stores don't look or function like this. Bought one car several years ago.. process was ok.. sales guy very nice. Came back to buy two Ford SUV's since its geographically close . They botched the sales process soooo badly.... hence they didn't get the sales. Enjoying our Ford read more

So, after getting INSULTED by my local dealer with a lowball trade offer of 40% of the lowest KBB trade-in (despite my car being in excellent, well maintained condition), I decided to search around and found the Mustang I wanted at Bredemann. They gave me a fair trade-in value and great pricing on my new 2016 Mustang. Also, it was clear to me that the sales manager takes pride in the kind of cars he orders in - he was especially proud that the one he spec'd out just happened to be exactly what I was looking for. Bottom line - it was smooth, it was easy. I drove over an hour to get to them and I was not disappointed. I just wish I lived closer so I could use their service department... read more

We were looking for a low milage used car and had a very good experience with the sales staff from the first inquiry through purchase. Our goal here was to purchase a quality preowned vehicle and after deciding that we did not want the extended service package, the finance staff took measures to quickly cancel it for us. Of course this is not something a seller likes to do, but the commitment to satisfied customers is taken seriously here. If you are in the midst of a search or contemplating one soon, Bredemann is worth a look. read more

Brought in my 3 year old Ford Expedition in because AC wasn't working. they said they didn't find a leak, recharged Freon. 7weeks later AC wasn't working again, brought car back in. Was asked rather rudely, why did you wait so long to bring it back, you should have come back a week later for us to check for a leak, I would have if I was told too, but I wasn't. After the car being there for several days, they said that the evaporator was leaking, picked up my car and paid a large bill. Less that 3 weeks later AC was not working again. this time I'm told that is the rear evaporator, an even larger bill. 3 year old car with both evaporators go bad, and what I'm I told, it isn't unheard of. I had to call when ever I wanted to know what was going on with my car, usually got the service person's voicemail, leave a message, no call back, call again, voicemail, no call back, call again, have the operator find the service person. I'm usually very loyal to the place I buy my car, but I can't see going back after this experience. read more

The rear window on my 2005 Escape imploded about 150 miles from home two days before Christmas. We called Mike from the car and explained the problem. He checked with the glass supplier and got back to us in 30 minutes or so. He told us to come in and that he could get the rear window replaced and that he had a "loaner". The next day about 11:30 am he called and told us to pick up our car. THAT'S SERVICE. And it's not the first time! Mike Reyes and Bredemann are a great team and even though we moved to downtown Chicago we continue to go to Bredemann. read more

Bait and Switch is alive and well at Bredemann Ford. They wait to the last minute and then try to reneg on the trade in value that they have confirmed with me. Tried to get me to give up one of the new rebates because that rebate wasn't offered when I originally ordered the car. I am a loyal Ford Buyer, plus I have Ford family connections. It pains me to say these guys are dishonest, but I will never buy anything from A Bredemannn again. And I will not be shy about telling everyone I know about my experience. read more
