Buyer beware! I purchased $300 for a box of ammo. The ammo was so bad it misfired 1 in 6 shots through 200 rounds. Not only did he refuse a refund on the ammo (I get that he can't take the liability of reselling it, but he sold me junk), he said I was at fault for buying it. Its a small place and the selection isn't the biggest BUT they almost always have what your looking for . . .and what almost no other shop carries. Prices are more then fair, Breco Enterprises is cheaper in prices by quite a bit compared to most of the shops here in Fresno/clovis. The service there is Fantastic!...the staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable...they don't mind answering any questions you might have - Unlike a certain sporting goods store i wont mention because you prob already know who I'm talking about lol..... Breco Firearms in Clovis, CA is a great local business. They are very knowledgeable, have a decent inventory of guns and accessories and also hold CCW classes and training. Warning: Pricier than other stores. This is the problem with buying at local businesses. I would very much like to patronize them but they just don't have a competitive price compared to the big stores. I walked in at this gun shop as a first time buyer. I already expected to get an intimidating experience and so that's what I got. Did the FSC, paid for the fee, which I can't complain coz that's a standard cost, passed it, bought my first rifle and later on realized that they're overpriced for $150 compared to the exact one they're selling at big stores like Sportsmans Warehouse or Turner's Sports and anywhere online. FYI this was at the peak of the CoViD19 panic buying. I then thought I should've gone to those bigger stores that had cheaper guns albeit the panic buying. This Breco guys have a 50% restocking fee for all of their returned products even for guns you placed on layaway that has not even undergone background check yet. Unbelievable! If you see something at this store be patient and shop around at other stores first and I'm telling you you're definitely going to have better deals with other stores. read more

Great customer service! They made my wife and myself feel very comfortable! I had heard past employees were rude but my experience was the complete opposite. They were very friendly,knowledgeable and answered every question my wife and I had and were very pleasant to talk to.I bought a H&K P2000SK and got it cheaper than any other gun store in Clovis and Fresno and got three magazines and night sights when all the other gun dealers were offering two magazine and regular sights for more money. ass clowns that don't know the laws. Also, I went in there to do a PPT. Didn't mind having to wait, but they made us wait after other customers walked into the store after us. Waited about 30 minutes while customers that walked in after us were helped...if I was interested in buying a gun, they killed that chance making us wait since they probably assumed they weren't going to make much money off of a PPT. I wanted to do business with a local business. I had spoken to Daniel several times regarding a very specific gun. He gave me a somewhat decent price, and although it was higher than a large sporting warehouse competitor, I was willing to give Daniel my business so that it would stay locally rather than go to a chain store. I had very clearly and specifically told Daniel when I would be in to purchase the gun in question. I even told him the exact time that I would be in there. He thanked me for my business and even gave me the exact total of what the final cost would be. Two days later, we showed up to his place of business, exactly when I said I would be there, to purchase the gun, and he said that he sold his last one that morning. I looked at him in astonishment, and again he said yes he had sold it and had no more. Mind you, my daughter, who the gun was for, had driven all the way from across town for this specific purchase. Daniel then said he would get more in the following week. I asked if he would hold one for me, and he stated he would not without a deposit. At that point I had made up my mind that I was no longer going to do business with this store. Not only was Daniel very matter of fact and somewhat rude, he didn't even offer not one apology. As we left and got into the car, I called the sporting goods warehouse and spoke to the manager there, which was extremely kind and helpful, and not only did he have several of the guns, but he took my name and phone number and promised to hold one for me with NO deposit required. We went there the next day and I was greeted by name and told they had the gun on hold for me. We got a way better deal than I would have at Breco, and we worked with very pleasant and helpful people. Don't understand why Daniel went from being extremely helpful and very appreciative of our business the first time we met with him and the few times I spoke with him on the phone, to being rude and not caring at all about pushing our business away.
