We're having a new HVAC system installed and thought air ducts should probably be cleaned prior. Breathe Cleaner Aire FL was highly recommended by our trusted heating and air conditioning company. Bill came and inspected our ducts and, as suspected, they had never been cleaned in 18 years. The house went through remodeling prior to our purchase, and that had added to the dirt and debris in the ducts. It was disturbing to watch what was up there when Bill ran the live camera through some of the vents - no wonder we were dusting constantly and still couldn't keep up with it! Bill and Tyler did an amazing job; clean, professional, respectful, and thorough from beginning to end. Furniture, bedding, countertops, and clothing were all covered throughout the process. They caulked and sealed the vent boots as they worked, and fogged the ducts with an anti-microbial botanical upon completion. The dryer vent was cleaned and a high-quality hose replacement was installed. All floors were vacuumed and everything was left clean and neat when done. Our job was done yesterday, and we immediately began noticing the difference in improved air flow and air quality. WOW! Bill Stewart of Breathe Cleaner Aire FL is the one I will be calling going forward for duct work cleaning. He and his assistant Tyler came in after another company did a horrendous, half-baked job. He is knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time the answer questions and making sure I understood what he was doing and why. He treated his staff with utmost courtesy and professionalism. His staff in turn was respectful to both him and to me all around. They covered all around their working areas and used a floor-vac all around the house after they were finished. They moved furniture, as needed...and put it all back. He checked my dryer vent and exhaust. He advised I was good to go for another year, not trying to sell me on unnecessary services. Decide to have air ducts and contacted them to an evaluation and quote. The owner came out the same day and looked around the house. He explained everything they would do and why they were doing it. After we were interested he gave us a quote based on the number of vents we had. They did not clean our dryer vent they replaced it. We accepted and a few days later they were. The owner's son did the work professionally. To cut down on the mess everything was covered and before leaving they vacuum their way out; house cleaner after they finished. I would use them again but I was told wouldn't need to for another 10 years. I've notice the airflow from the air vents seem to be better and my wife claims there is little to no dust on things now. We recently moved into our home in Fernandina Beach. As I was cleaning, I noticed how dirty the air vents were. Very courteous and reliable are the gents that did my ducts and I did not find that their work was too expensive (almost all of the companies I reviewed before selecting this company cost around the same). They answered questions that I had, did a tremendous amount of cleaning the vents as well as the ductwork and I could tell an immediate change in my home's atmosphere. FYI, yes the spray they use does smell like bubblegum and it fades within the first day or so. read more
