This place is exactly what I'm looking for. Pool tables strong drinks and small tabs!

You come for good (cheap) drinks and talk with the staff. All friendly and accommodating. I'm from out of town and this feels like 5 stars.

Doesn't even deserve the term " Dive Bar"- not clean at all - Bartender was really rude. Not a safe place.

When I first walked into the Vine Room, I honestly wasn't quite sure what to expect and I mean that…read morein a good way. It's one of those places where you pause for a second, take it in, and realize this isn't meant to be rushed. Yes, the prices might give a day-tripper a moment of reflection. They didn't bother me. At this point in my life, I don't care what strangers think about prices. What you're paying for here is the experience and it starts with the menu. Reading about the drinks, understanding from the waitress how they're infused, what goes into them, and then tasting them...that's half the fun. These aren't "order and forget" cocktails. They're meant to be considered and enjoyed. They're gorgeous to look at too!! Frankly, how great would it be if they offered a flight of drinks? A way to really explore what Vine Room is trying to communicate to the customer. Because the drinks are that good, thoughtful, balanced, memorable. You don't just drink them. You notice them! Jesus, another tag line I'm giving you guys!! Hire me.. Hire me.. The atmosphere hits exactly where it should. Music at the perfect volume. Not crowded. No fighting for attention or waving frantically to get another drink. Service is attentive. And those potato chips? Just salty enough to keep everyone ordering another round. Now, one small annoyance, the dress code. It's listed as Semi-formal Chic with no ballcaps, no athletic wear, no sleeveless shirts. Yet we saw shorts and sneakers slide through because they were attached to a rich mommy and daddy. Fine but I liked looking at the beautiful people more than spoiled kids (over 21 just attached to mom and dad). All that said, this place is far more than its current 3.6 stars on Yelp. Vine Room is one of those spots where you either get it and you'll be back, or you tried it once, didn't understand it, and went online to bash it for no real reason. And that's fine, not every place is for everyone. But if you want really good drinks, exceptional service, and an outstanding sense of comfort and vibe, Vine Room on 5th is absolutely worth your time and your money.

Reservation recommended at this bar. The outside of the bar was decorated with vines, very unique. Inside was cool too, had the 1930s era. The menu offers craft cocktails and small plates. Server brought out chips in martini cup. She gave us suggestions for drinks to choose.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Our server Mike and the owner, Barry, helped make that happen and we appreciate it.

Craft cocktails with homemade syrups, tinctures, house infused spirits, house blend vermouth, house blend bitters. Whoever runs their drinks program is paying attention & serving up delicious & unique drinks. It's becoming more rare to visit a restaurant that feels like someone's singular vision for a neighborhood or community (instead of a corporate venture). This place is unique & elegant but approachable & welcoming. Highly recommend.

The Chickee bar was recently re-built after the hurricane took it down last year. They did a wonderful job creating the same space. You can enjoy watching football since they have 3 flat screen TV's. I love that they give you a koozie with your beer to keep it cold when you order. Such a nice touch! They also have chips that you can snack on if you want. We had happy hour at the boat house and mentioned I've been to this other bar before with friends non members. So we walk over then sat down at I never saw the bar tender she looked at my and me feel super bad she asked why and how I am here. Well long story short seems like this place is to exclusive for a person who happens to be in the military who wants to spend money at their bar on a holiday about service members. Was asking about the membership then the lady asked to leave because wasn't a member... won't be back and making sure all the service members know who have been before as well.
